Until it really really wasn't
This is what pissed me off about it.
I LIKED She-hulk being a show about a strong female woman taking care of the legal side of marvel shenanigans. That was all the show needed to be. But then they not only jump the shark, they taunt the audience with "Is this what you wanted? You wanted it to be a high budget climatic ending?"
People have been saying way before She-hulk that the formula was getting stale. No one actually wanted this but you're acting smug like you put us in your place.
The drama was good. The romance was good. The cases were fantastic. The feminism stuff also felt phoned in and made no sense.

Exactly. They could have had a Harvey Birdman/Night Court esque show, but they went with the yas queen shit.
What it seemed to come down to is them hiring a very self-serious and intense writing staff with no experience in courtroom procedurals to write a goofy comedic procedural.
They couldn't figure out how to do that, all they know how to do is "stronk woman is put upon by the world"
It was over when they didn't allow her to be sexy.

I assumed the ending was moronic meta shit because it was doing poorly and they didn't want to miss their chance to do that with this character. Cause it sure as hell wasn't warranted by the story.
The scripts are written way way WAY in advance of anything airing, you can't react to criticism of your show in the same season.
They wanted to have She-Hulk meta-elements but they just didn't do it very well. It was anticlimactic and more than a little mean.

CGI-ng She-Hulk instead of hiring a muscular woman was one of the many dumbest decisions the MCU has ever made.
Casting a Female Bodybuilder & camera tricks is way cheaper than CGI.

I honestly wanted them to partially make a story based around the initial run where Jen learns to control her powers while dealing with a major drug case that culminates with her fighting her cousin and realize just HOW out of control he is. Make it in a similar vein to the hulk series from the 70s THEN make the second season a cheese cake fun filled quest with her breaking the 4th wall dealing with wacky cases

What really fricking annoys me is that SJW's called people who didn't like the show sexists, incels, chuds etc...,you know, the usual npc buzzword insults, when She-Hulk was already a legacy character with over 40 years of good content to mine from that would have made for an excellent movie or even TV show but they hired fricking morons who didn't care about the character and didn't even have experience writing courtroom drama's as she's a fricking lawyer defending those with superhuman powers!
