Legally speaking, he did nothing wrong, specifically because they buried him at the end, any half decent lawyer could get you out.

Depends on where you are. In the US you could go to prison even if they produce an authentic birth certificate stating they are of legal age. Traci Lords case set precedent.

      what the frick

Not really moron, those people were let off because she even tricked the government into giving her a REAL legit driver's license/state ID. So if it was good enough to trick the actual government lol they had no choice but to let the porn dudes go.

If anything you should be bringing up a more recent case. Some 15 yr old b***h in Florida got approached by some porn dude to do some background acting in some porn films (think like those dancing bear shits or the club porns where there is like 40 chicks watching some chick frick some dude or something). Anyway she ended up getting a fake ID or some shit and eventually ended up doing like 3-4 scenes for BangBros before it came out that she was actually 15 during the filming. Porn actor still went to jail even though he didn't know she was 15.

Now THAT'S bullshit. You expect the porn company that you're working for to do their diligence for making sure the chick is 18, has her papers, std tests, etc. And then YOU get fricked over like that and YOU have to go to prison? While the 15 yr old just walks off scot-free.

We need to regulate porn industry, this shouldn't be happening

I think we need to start holding the person lying accountable too. Obviously you aren't going to send a 15 yr old girl to prison but there has to be SOME punishment for this. She lied multiple times. Got paid to have sex. And then turned around and got some dude sent to prison that didn't know shit about anything and was just doing his job. On what fricking planet is that fair? All because some brat lied. The "justice system" is a joke. If the roles were flipped and it was a 15 yr old dude who did this, everyone would be laughing and giggling and nobody would have went to jail.

Most of these stores are fabrication/urban legend. The only case I could find in Florida for a 15yr old and cp was one selling it.

In many/most/all cases, depending on the infraction, minors cannot legally be held accountable. Things like property damage, obviously the parents are held accountable for renumeration.

Totally different issue, but this is why you get things like "this person was known to us" from the police in the aftermath of say school shootings. You have minors or people who did things while minors that they couldn't do anything about.

It really is, especially since all the privatization.
How is it fair wealthy people and corporations can get away with minor punishments due to their lawyers, while poor people and small companies get screwed?

You were actually right, Satan. I had misread the case. The owner of the production company went to prison only because he kept selling her videos and sending them across state lines after acknowledging to undercover FBI people that he knew in 1987 that she had been underage and was still selling her stuff. I got the premise of conviction wrong.

Yeah but I only mention that because I remember looking it up after the recent case I saw, I think this happened in the 2010s with BangBros.

Well if it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to end up on the watchlist I'd search it up for you but yeah it was either BangBros/RealityKings. I honestly don't remember but it was a fairly recent case in 2010s. I THINK the chick's name was Bianca or some shit like that, search at your own risk but I assure you it was real, not some fabrication, which doesn't make any sense in the first place.

It's a messed up situation and your best bet is just being aware it can happen. The porn industry as a whole is pretty diligent about it since the Traci Lords incident. Not to say mistakes haven't been made over the years.

I'd have a hard time believing an actor was held responsible for an on set action when at that point they'd have every reasonable belief they were working with vetted performers.

You mean if she was 17 and said she was under 16 so he thought she was below the age of consent? There's no valid case in most jurisdictions.

he would need a good lawyer but it could be argued that he idn't do anything wrong but cheat on his wife and that's not a crime, since they said they were 18, but people in America do not frick around when it comes to anything under 18, including 17 If he was 22 maybe they'd cut him a break, but he's portrayed as mid 40's in the movie I think? AND he cheated on his wife? Jury won't be good with that. Plus, they didn't watch the movie. They just know these two young girls (who can act and convince them they're victims) were coerced into sex in however they decide to go about saying he did this.

    He'd go to prison probably.

I mean I like the movie because obviously the girls are hot, but i also like the movie because Keanu isn't really a bad guy. The girls are buttholes who pretend they're in the right with moron logic, which is what the worst kinds of people do. The worst people will oppose you for reasons that make sense to them but can't see the fricking point in your logic and just moralgay about whatever. Obviously they're just cons. They pretty much raped him and try to frick him over and literally all they have is "your wife" like that excuses everything. Like obviously he didn't deserve to have his marrieage ruined over this shit, but bad shit happens sometimes and it's fun to not have things work out for him. This is how shit does work for guys sometimes. Sometimes you're just fricked and you don't get a happy ending

yeah well this wasn't one of those states and i'm not in one so we don't think about that very much.

Why do women not mindlessly idolise this film like they do with other bad b***h flicks? These women are the most accurate depiction of women and are the baddest boss b***hes. Cardi B would be proud.
