Nothing bad on it but knowing that Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will have one, it will be a shame seeing a cheaper studio trying to copy Flying Bark's animation.

That's a good point there anon. I hadn't thought much of this since while cheap looking, these shorts have been mostly good enough looking but Moon Girl has some quality stuff going on in it's musical sequences so seeing how they could try to recreate that on what is assumed to be a really small budget could be interesting. I don't really see them being able to capture the same style if these last few shorts are anything to go by.

Charming and comfy, the pacing can feel rushed sometimes, especially in the 22-minute episodes, it feels like they needed to be 44 minutes, or how both the whole "Kristine dates Scott" arc is resolved 10 episodes later and the "Becker likes Hailey" arc is introduced and resolved in 11-minute segments and the Crush is not mentioned nor implied at all in the episodes in between, Hailey is a cute dork, Scott is funny, Beta is ok, AC is based and I've grown to like the Professor.

I think Hailey is one of the best designed characters in a Disney cartoon we've had in years. It's a shame she gets lumped in with the rest of the "quirky brown girl" crowd since she doesn't act quirky, and she was originally conceptualized as white. They had a pretty good harem in this show too. Kristine, Becker, Patricia, Professor and Sunny are all great side waifus (Kristine's mom too, but we barely have any content of her). But then recently some of them have stunk up the place. Like the black xhemale cheerleader. Genesis and Kennedy are only okay. Not many other standouts. The best cheerleader design is Becky #1 and they hardly use her over the ugly hamplanetgress.

Yeah, that makes sense. Kind of funny how she didn't at all have any reaction to Scott's depression after breaking up with Kristine since she didn't at all show up until after that was cleared up. Maybe even being up for sabotaging it in some kind of misguided revenge idea for Scott being so upset earlier. I like Becker but she feels like such a strange and tacked on character, and is by far the worst written aspect of this show. Some of it admittedly is because they aired her intro episode way deeper in the season than intended but still.
She and Hailey lived next to each other their whole lives and was best friends with her brother, but Becker hardly knew her? The crush that went nowhere which was pure yuri ship baiting they didn't even capitalize on, and then the last minute pair off with another uggo crew member (or their SO) self-insert. Aside from that, Becker has only been used as a somewhat charming sidekick alternative to Scott occasionally, and to help contribute to the ESG checklist. This shipping shit has kind of railroaded her character in a bad way. I wouldn't even care and probably prefer if she shows up next episode and reveals she broke up with Kennedy off-screen.
Yeah, Becker really hasn't done much so far. And that could be fine. If she was intended to just be a fun side character to pop in every now and then. But they give her time in a couple of episodes which makes her dropping out entirely like she has so far kind of weird. I think the problem is that there's next to nothing to talk about with this show since so much shit happens super fast. If things were more slowburn I think there could be more longevity for these threads. Things happen too soon and I can't get into it.

That they so quickly dropped the Becker is into Hailey thing I'll never know. Felt like quite the missed opportunity.
90℅ chance the crew had no idea about what to do with Becker having a crush on Hailey after someone in the Crew came up with the idea of having the deuteragonist's sibling have a crush on the main character in a romantic comedy.
Why do you think no episode between Becker's introduction and Becker getting over her Crush on Hailey imply nor mentions it at all?
Yeah, that makes sense. Kind of funny how she didn't at all have any reaction to Scott's depression after breaking up with Kristine since she didn't at all show up until after that was cleared up. Heck, she hasn't shown up since the Kennedy thing either, right? I'd have thought she'd show up with her crew working on Kristine's hat show in the jacket Hailey episode. Maybe even being up for sabotaging it in some kind of misguided revenge idea for Scott being so upset earlier. I'm starting to think they just don't know what to do with her after ending that crush on Hailey either. Even after they paired her with Kennedy.
It tells you a lot that Becker gets paired up with her "Rival" in the episode that introduces her with no buildup like her mentioning something like "Can't wait to see Kennedy's face when she sees this."
To be fair I don't see Becker as someone that would care about her Brother's love life unless it gets in her way.
I like Becker but she feels like such a strange and tacked on character, and is by far the worst written aspect of this show. Some of it admittedly is because they aired her intro episode way deeper in the season than intended but still.
She and Hailey lived next to each other their whole lives and was best friends with her brother, but Becker hardly knew her? The crush that went nowhere which was pure yuri ship baiting they didn't even capitalize on, and then the last minute pair off with another uggo crew member (or their SO) self-insert. Aside from that, Becker has only been used as a somewhat charming sidekick alternative to Scott occasionally, and to help contribute to the ESG checklist. This shipping shit has kind of railroaded her character in a bad way. I wouldn't even care and probably prefer if she shows up next episode and reveals she broke up with Kennedy off-screen.
Yeah, Becker really hasn't done much so far. And that could be fine. If she was intended to just be a fun side character to pop in every now and then. But they give her time in a couple of episodes which makes her dropping out entirely like she has so far kind of weird. Did we ever get confirmation that later episode was supposed to be her introduction episode?
