Inside Job is another example of a show that benefitted off the Hirsch popularity train, but it wasn't enough to save the show (And in fact Hirsch's meddling helped get it cancelled). Owls and Frogs had this same inertia and they were still the 2nd or 3rd most popular shows at the time they were airing. Mutt/Dana/Alex all seemed to support only each other and no one else, see also when Dana made the TOH cancellation post she told viewers to watch Amphibia and nothing else, even though TGAMM was breaking out at the time. Considering how eager and willing TGAMM writers were to go public in blasting Hirsch during that censor notes thing, I'm willing to wager everyone else at DTVA got sick of their shit.

Good question. It certainly feels like they'd have to break up eventually. Especially since it looks like that kiss in the tunnel of love was supposed to happen and maybe even get them together, but it got messed up by future shenanigans and the future went screwy because of it. I'm not sure how Kristine would handle it though. Kristine seems pretty enamored by Scott. Thanks but it's going to be more light hearted then it sounds, I'm trying to keep it like my other fics, Anne Plantars and The Possession of Molly McGee where there's and element of seriousness but also trying to keep the heart of the comedy there.
