I've read it as the chapters came out all the way to the end. There wasn't much of a plot after the battle of the north other than mindless battle after mindless battle. All the characters you thought would be important were reduced to useless side characters: Raki, Galatea, Riful, etc. There was no tension at all after that point. Every chapter was like a saturday morning kaijuu monster battle.
The moment it deviated from the manga (not sure if it ran out of chapters or just had to so it could have an ending) it fell to complete shit. But then, so did the manga
They made Claire and her friends way too overpowered too fast. There's nothing much you could write about at that point other than mindless battle after battle. It's almost as if the author just gave up.

I never read Claymore, but I read through all of Berserk and this happened once Guts got the Berserker armor. No battle felt dangerous anymore, he was just too OP and it never stopped
People give Dragon Ball a lot of shit for Goku getting immediately bodied by androids in the very next chapter after Frieza, but imagine if Super Saiyan just effortlessly steamrolled every boss after that till the manga was over. That was the Berserker armor
Aot was fricking terrible, I genuinely don't get why aotcels are still making threads about out. It was cool for like the first third of the series maybe
>It was cool for like the first third of the series maybe
????? the beginning is the worst part. At that point the story is equivalent to zombie horror slop. The story doesn't properly begin until they reach the basement.
the way they killed isley was the worst shit iv seen in any media ever. the most powerful guy who "mentored" the main villain, goes out by random super soilders that barely ever matter again. they were just made to write him out of the story. other than that is was great
It's a shame both endings were kinda shit. The manga one felt rushed and out of left field and the anime one was unsatisfying. Too bad there are essentially no dark fantasy shows like this or berserk anymore.
It's as rushed as AoT, what the frick are you talking about?
In fact, it's even worse. We never got more information about the Dragon's Kin.
And Isley dies like a b***h against common foes, wtf.
The manga would have never ended if they dealt with all the other continent shit.
Better to have an actual to end it and provide a resolution to the core of the story.
Yes. A lot of people call Claymore "Berserk light". Read the manga though. The anime turns the male character into a b***h for no reason, and the ending was meh.
Berserk and Claymore are sibling anime tbh, not much comes close. If I had to recommend something in a similar spirit it would be Blue Gender, but truly there ain't much like those. That genre is done, people don't like depressing stuff.
I'm going to learn AI so i can make season 2 a reality.
i have the whole storyboard laid out in my head. Just wait, it will be fricking great. Claymore: Sisterhood, pick up at episode 22
i liked it but its way too battle shonen for me, especially the manga. it just becomes a series of, "i must increase my power level!" with little character development beyond that.
clare and galatea are pure sexo tbh
Went to shit after the battle in the north
Read the manga.
After the battle in the north is the best part of it where things go completely nuts.

the power creep made the reading really tedious
Manga fricking suck as well
clare should shit in my mouth
The moment it deviated from the manga (not sure if it ran out of chapters or just had to so it could have an ending) it fell to complete shit. But then, so did the manga
nah manga was kino throughout
I dont believe you
one of the best anime of all time
chinese counterfeit berserk
Don't you mean Witcher?
it's kino

I prefer pure martial artists to Saiyan shit. Berserker armor harms him and brings out that demon of his though.
Goku never got bodied by Androids out of hand. 19 only got the upper hand once it absorbed a Kamehameha and Goku's heart disease kicked in.
Bitches being bros is an underrated trope
There was some serious "volleyball team" vibes. I loved it.

that's some truly garbage looking design, god damn
>author: I'd never bring Teresa back
It's a shame both endings were kinda shit. The manga one felt rushed and out of left field and the anime one was unsatisfying. Too bad there are essentially no dark fantasy shows like this or berserk anymore.
someone on Cinemaphile told me I should watch this if I like seeing cute girls get beheaded
Is that true?
Yep
it's only a 1 season anime so it's not like a huge time investment
I'd give it at least like 10 episodes
It's as rushed as AoT, what the frick are you talking about?

Not enough ethos to justify the edge. That's why Berserk distinguishes itself from generic nip guro-manga.
If I liked Berserk, is Claymore going to do the trick? What's appealing about it?

If Berserk is so good, why doesn't it have a long running anime?
they were pumping out garbage berserk adaptations till recently though
it has very little similarities to berserk, all which are very surface level. a better comparison would be the witcher
getting blue gender vibes for some reason
i remember blue gender being good, but i only saw it on toonami in like 2004. was it good?
Great source of Ryona
>Author can only draw one face so he had to come up with as many hairstyles as possible
I forgive him because he made Angel Densetsu but he's really pushing his luck here.
He's asian. The only thing they have to differentiate between eachother over there is their hairstyles.

Sex with Clare
not sure why maybe it was one of the earliest animes/manga i got into but Claymore is my favorite and I reread it once a year
i liked it but its way too battle shonen for me, especially the manga. it just becomes a series of, "i must increase my power level!" with little character development beyond that.
clare and galatea are pure sexo tbh
Clare's nipples in my mouth
Ragi is a stupid pathetic homosexual and makes an otherwise good show almost unwatchable
its just a bad english dub. read the manga and hes not nearly as homosexual or watch subs and you wont notice it as much
I never watched the dub.
Don't compare AoT with that mediocrity
How did the Hellsing manga get the funds to hire Madhouse to animate it, but Young Animal couldn't afford them for a decent Berserk adaption?
Could NOT stomach the little brother character. He was absolute fricking cringe and made me drop the show after only a few episodes.
