Thanks Phinneas. Billy Dilley was hot fricking garbage and made me think lesser of Aaron Springer after admiring him for years. You can't even claim that executive meddling from Disney is to blame because the show felt 100% like Springer's style of writing, only far far worse compared to his previous works.
His one cartoon pitch that managed to be picked up for series and it stars one of the most annoying protagonists to ever hit television.
Is it bad that I was one of the few people who watched the episode premiere? (It was in the middle of a Gravity Falls marathon, which was airing all the episodes in order.)
It's crazy how this one-off character from an obscure show that was only on for two weeks shared the same voice actor as the MC of The Owl House of all things.
I remember the threads of this show from the brief period it was airing. I can tell people only ever checked it out because it had Boxxy in it.
Show itself was a mixed bag, Had a couple of great episodes and was certainly carried by Zeke, Marsha, and most of the people living in the subterranean world. Billy just never clicked with me at all.
Disney’s answer to Uncle Grandpa and Clarence.
Did they think both those shows would have been big enough to ripoff?
I’m surprised they didn’t do a TTG kind of show for Marvel
I really wish it wasn't always about Billy but rather have him share an equal amount of spotlight with Zeke and Marsha because I feel the episodes where they all share the spotlight happen to be the best ones.
Yes. Yes, it did.

>Did this REALLY deserve to air
No
It's bad

Only if you unironically liked the episode premiere, and not Gravity Falls itself.
i dont remember it that well
but i think it was terrible
Holy shit, I never knew it was actually THAT bad? I... kinda liked it? Maybe it's just me, or its unique artstyle.
>unique artstyle
Compared to all the other Disney TVAs? I'm certain.
It's just beanmouth shit but more repulsive
Fair enough, would you rather have Kogarth be picked up instead?
I wanted to punch this fricker in the face
Zeke was the highlight.
I miss her...
I'll admit, she was pretty cute.
Is there fetish/lewd art of her?

This trash was the Disney version of Uncle Grandpa.
Why did the character looked like john arbukle
He's a bit thiccer, since his body is comprised of two circles.

>Boxxy
That's a name I haven't heard in centuries.
She was a youtuber that voiced Marsha.
Based, I wish the marketing for Billy Dilley focused on that aspect.
I completely memory holed this.
Everyone did, because it was doomed to failure. Keep in mind, this is DXD we're talking about.
frickin yikes, dude
Would this show have more staying power had it been a Disney Channel TVA instead?
It’s Disney XD what did you expect?
Any exclusive show will always lose on there look at MML and Wander Over Yonder S3.
It's a miracle that Nu-Ducktales got reverse-channel hopped.
His best friend was Jon Arbuckle.
Good, he needs a Smiling Friend.
Nu, so what's the name of the show?
Billy Dilley's Super Duper Subterranean Summer.
He beats an evil clone version of himself, so that's... something.

They... almost did? Pretty sure it's only related to Spider-Man, though.
Had potential, even at times enjoyable.

The music was oddly catchy, too. Both the intro and credits themes are really good tunes.
At least it was better than Shnookums and Meat
typical calarts shit why do all these shows just blend together?
stfu moron
Soon-to-be-shortest-lived thread.
