It's a beautiful movie.
I kind of feel like it was a western film, but instead of the cowboy riding into town and shooting all the bad guys and then leaving, the cowboy appears out of the desert, a man with no name, fixes his family, and then rides back into the desert
It is a beautiful movie but he went to great lengths to leave his child in a far more precarious economic situation. He had two affluent parents who loved him, and now he has one poor mother he barely knows, whoring herself out to make ends meet
