Earth avatar will clean the shit Korra Caused for ignoring her duties and listening to a lesbian spirit larping as God.
>Katara
No, Korra fricked with link across all past Avatars, the cycle can’t be broken unless Rava, the Avatar Spirit, is killed by killing the Avatar whilst in the Avatar State.
They will retcon and claim that Rava was lying and Korra was a moron.
Breaking the cycle of Avatar reincarnation was explained before in ATLA, it doesn’t come from Korra, they just added on top of, so it isn’t a piece of lore they can just retcon away.
i always thought a new avatar series would be set in the far future, like a sci-fi/fantasy show. After all, the original concept of ALTA was this with a futuristic aang/momo. Could be cool to see the concept re-used this way
Episode 1 Korra what give out that sort of advice but i think later Korra would say: in my time the entire world hated me so i fricked off. Oh you can try solving their problems but what can one avatar do in the end y'know, my advice is thus "don't trust anybody and frick'em" -peace out

this is a good set-up though >korra "mastered 3 elements by 5" doesn't know how to teach the new avatar when he hasn't even mastered earth since it just comes to her
that's fun
She's even more useless as a guide than Kuruk, and that guy didn't even do anything.

>"Have you tried becoming a lesbian?" >Avatar Korra, I'm a man >"Yeah I've done what I can, the rest is up to you"
yeah and that'll be good conflict for both >korra is frustrated avatar can't just do it like she does >avatar is equally frustrated that she is useless as a teacher and can't ask other avatars anymore
which through the course of the show they probably figure it out and have an arc together or something
Enough with the frustration drama, humans can have other relations than frustrations towards one another you god damn Writer of Korra.
Why would a new avatar story be about Korra you lunatic?
who said it'd be about korra
shes just another character who complements the avatar's story, which ideally would be about fixing all the shit she pulled
That's just My Hero Academia and it fricking sucks.

>Korra is such a shit character she needs a redemption arc after she's fricking dead
lel
Here’s my soft fix: >Korra has communed with the past avatars before >so technically she still has all their memories (can even bs it with the avatar state justification) >so while she can’t bring forth the previous spirits, she can channel their memories and give her own interpretation to the current avatar
To construct forceghost Korra you must put her ordeals behind her. What did Korra learn from all of her Korraness? After all that you saw her do was done and gone, which lessons would remain?
Get this, here's my avatar fan fic.
The next earth avatar should be a male. But there should be a dark avatar female that's also air. Would be based, tbdesu
No way they will put any more stains on Korra’s name after her reputation among fans grew to be so divided over the years; Korra will probably have a fully realized Avatar life where they go live to almost 150 years.
I’d like an adult (late 20s) avatar in a cassette futurist type of world, taking inspiration from old anime and movies. Make him like Kenshiro, outwardly very stoic, serious, kinda autistic to contrast with Aang and Korra, but is actually sensitive and kind-hearted. Also, the northern water tribe should become the Soviet Union
I remember originally Avatar was going to be in a futuristic setting with robots and shit. Maybe this new show will be like that.

I'd rather it were set in the past, but this is the next best option. Skip over the rest of the 20th/21st century equivalent and jump straight into a fresher setting that isn't just WWII/Cold War/current year with spirits and bending—with all the baggage that would bring. It also sidesteps TLoK's issue of fans fricking hating what the writers did to beloved characters and their families.
I had an idea for an Earth Avatar series that's metal-bending focused. He would be a metal-bender who uses a cool sword, and doesn't even know how to earthbend normally because he was raised only to metalbend. He lives in the Republic in a new cyberpunk capital city built after Republic City was destroyed. The Republic has become expansionist and has seized a bunch of Earth Federation territory, threatening war with the Earth states.
The story would be about the Avatar reconnecting to his past Avatar lives (fixing what Korra couldn't mend), while becoming a traitor to the Republic and forced on the run. Almost every episode would involve a past Avatar. Korra would be his only guide at first but eventually other Avatars would join in. Also would have a lot of spirit shit, including a powerful nature spirit who wants to destroy humanity, and a Republic scientist who wants to blow up the spirit portals.
The gang would be >his metalbending girlfriend (fights like Vergil, daughter of the president, becomes an antagonist) >female airbender who wants to see the world (fun and free-spirited, has an unrequited crush on the Avatar, actually the dark avatar, can unknowingly waterbend) >female lightningbender who can attract natural lightning (encountered a storm spirit as a baby, cannot firebend, experimented on by Republic scientists for most of her life) >his non-bending scientist friend (passionate about tech, easily distracted, works for famous Republic scientist, fascinated by spirits, gay) >Northern waterbender (cold/shrewd personality, uses secret bloodbending technique to heal, in tune with the spirits, exiled from the North, gay) >elderly female sandbender (sweet but tough and wise, moves extremely fast in sand)
There would also be a recurring squad of metal-benders, Republic agents hunting the Avatar, who all use cool weapons.
Book names: Metal, Sand, Nation, Cosmos
Too lazy to write a whole fan fiction out of it.
>a man or a woman
It should be decided by a coin flip
Should be Post Apocaliptic.
Korra aleealy did the whole modern day, sure it was the 30s but cars, and skyscrapers where prominent in that show.

They retconned the idea that blood bending needed a full moon, so yeh they kind of can.

Didn't Katara destroy the cycle? At minimum the next one only gets Katara for spirtual guidance so he's fricked either way.
More like she rebooted it though I could easily see the Earth Avatar plot partly being to relinking the chain with their past lives
Poor Korra died at young age
Episode 1 Korra what give out that sort of advice but i think later Korra would say: in my time the entire world hated me so i fricked off. Oh you can try solving their problems but what can one avatar do in the end y'know, my advice is thus "don't trust anybody and frick'em" -peace out

>"Yeah Kiyoshi says to punch it"
>”Aang says punching is fine… as long as you don’t kill. He’s pretty insistent on that”
Aang is literally the only avatar who seems to have a no kill rule tbh. Even Yangchen said it was fine as a last resort and she's a fellow air nomad.
>"Kuruk wasn't paying attention and said something about surfing, ignore him"
>Should the next Avatar be a man or a woman?
Non-binary.
Not a real thing.
Genderfluid!
Not a Waterbender.
ATTACK HELICOPTER!
so a woman?
To construct forceghost Korra you must put her ordeals behind her. What did Korra learn from all of her Korraness? After all that you saw her do was done and gone, which lessons would remain?
>do NOT open the spirit portals, idk what I was thinking that shit was moronic, my bad
Get this, here's my avatar fan fic.

asami's spoiled brat son, she's part earth kingdom so it would work.
The earth kingdom doesn't exist anymore. Korra undermined their efforts at reunifying under Kuvira.
no more genders. frick new world
I can't wait for trans issues to be at the forefront
Check this out. The next avatar is a previous avatar and the story is original and unfettered. Wow.
The only viable answer. TLoK fricked up too much. Make him or her an ancestor of one of the gaang or something.
at what age will Korra die?
Whatever age she was at the last episode, not a second older.
On the other side of the spirit portal was the blender dimension, she and Asami were killed instantly
She will get assassinated by a political extremist with a car charge because the 1920s are peak radicalism hours.
No way they will put any more stains on Korra’s name after her reputation among fans grew to be so divided over the years; Korra will probably have a fully realized Avatar life where they go live to almost 150 years.
She had mercury poison for years. I'd kill her off young so the young characters wouldn't be too old adventuring/training with the new avatar.
If the Earth avatar isn't a buff young himbo I'm not watching.
You have terminally shit taste for not wanting a sandbender twink.
We already had Toph. Stop recycling characters.
It should be a water fly rather that a human
How about not making another avatar cartoon?
Edgy avatar who bloodbends and is Sasuke

male earth avatar with technological regression because of a spirit induced dark age. only the very rich still have tech.
