There's a difference between a show not being watched and a show not being talked about, you don't see anyone talk about Paw Patrol but it's one of the most watched Cinemaphile shows out now. Kids don't discuss their kids shows online, see also Big City Greens.
I wouldn't say that, but what I would say is kids having a society/imaginative adventures in the woods is a powerful premise.
Craig of the creek rides on this factor.
I was always under the impression middle school-aged children were more the target audience with this series. That's the kind of demographic that'd be more likely to gravitate toward cartoons with romantic subplots and more mature subject matter along with the cool fight sequences. Sure, some younger viewers could've had a good laugh just seeing Steven be all silly, but the series did come at a time when Cartoon Network was still proudly producing TV-PG series. Steven Universe was plenty popular with kids; I just think all the louder adult fans made it seem like that wasn't the case.
Paw Patrol is a bit above Big City Greens in terms of having a bigger batch of merch plus it simulcast in between the Nick jr block on the main channel and wholly on the sister preschool channel, and has more seasons than what Disney fetches in most of it’s shows, BCG somehow escapes the condemnation/treatment that affected TOH and in some cases of Amphibia, only thing they have in common was that they get more airtime than other shows (in nick’s case with SpongeBob is a exception), it’s mostly watched by actual kids rather than obnoxious manchild morons that seethes on those shows that gets more exposure than the shit they watch, which kids sees no interest of.
This, Craig of the Creek is presumably a show that kids actually watch, unlike Steven Universe/The Owl House/She-Ra and their ilk which are watched mostly by gay teens and adults who are obsessed with shipping.
that a great thing honestly becuase those fricking adult children cant' help but suck the fun out of every little shit that airs on TV. And I really like Big City Greens
It can't be doing poorly if it gets views, sells merch or whatever it does to justify its existence. >Uhh... Umm... the MC is black
Corpos don't give a shit about diversity unless it brings them money. If no one watched it, it'd have died earlier.
Like most CN shows nowadays, no one except for LGBT youth care. Most discussion's facilitated on Amino or Discord Servers rather than most places the average person will notice.
indians
Look up what astroturfing is. You'll be surprised.

I could sorta see kids liking BCG. But this show? No way
They're both good shows

When I was in middle school and I remember kids liking Clarence, so I could see how people like this show.
Die teen.
I'm 20.
>zoomer
Scum
>I don't see people liking a comfy slice of life show
And you morons wonder why anime is doing better than cartoons
Moeshit is for morons.
Plenty of kids liked SU. I'm sure plenty of kids watch Craig
>Plenty of kids liked SU.
Did they? I worked at an elementary school while SU was airing and never heard a kid talk about it, saw them draw the characters, or anything

I volunteered at an elementary school when SU was airing, and there was a little girl from the group I was working with singing the Cookie cat song.

This. PAW Patrol just got the donut treatment in Japland. That doesn't happen unless you're Pokemon or Anpanman big.
Same reason BCG is still going: kids love it.

I was 13 when this show dropped. Does that make me an authority to say kids don't find this shit appealing or was I too old?
Why the frick would you out yourself as an underage like that
The show's been going for four years and change. The poster could be born between March 30th and July 22nd 2004, and have just turned 18.
CN is for 7-11 year olds so yes

I watch it, it's comfy.
