Yeah the Injustice movie just wasted potential, it makes no sense either since Barry doesn't die in the Injusticeverse, or at least not in either of the games.

Yep. They killed Flash because they needed a role for a token black, and Terrific was next in line.
Because flash can time travel, and had done so in two previous movies, meaning they needed him out of the way for the movie to work.

Funniest thing about Flash's minor role and death in the Injustice movie is apparently he's Boon's favorite. Things can obviously change in a decade, but I like to think Flash is still his favorite just because I want to know what his reaction was to Flash's role in the movie.
