Well yeah, the point of Shrek 4 is that he got too stressed and made the mistake of thinking "maybe my life was better when I scared the shit out of people, I'd like to try doing that for a day" and while he did get some fun out his little 1-day adventure it was only pretty superficial

It's pretty standard stuff. You never see anyone say they miss high school even though they never really did anything fun back then and maybe even got bullied a bit?

I think it's just a statue for the sake of an idea the sculptor had. It wasn't leaked either since you can buy it and the next movie hasn't even been properly revealed yet.
