These are the ones I've seen. Finna check out Iron Claw, Beau is Afraid, Past Lives and Talk to Me. THOUGH.
You have a good taste, sir
>Sacred Deer - kino
Honestly, why? It wasn't a terrible movie but one of Lanthimos' flops, where the guy got too high on his own supply. The movie had some kino scenes, sure, but overall it seemed like a pointless endeavour.
actual good taste
ahahahah the only truly good one is aftersun, good time and sacred deer are disgusting bad hacks
Aftersun is the only one I purchased on bluray and have watched multiple times, other than Spring Breakers. I really liked Good Time for what it was though.

I didn't see Red Rocket because I assumed it was homosexual shit
is it actually worth watching?
Main dude is an ex pornstar or something in texas trying to fix his life and he meets a cutie working in a donut shop.
Yes, and there's zero homosexual shit. It's the story of a turbochad getting back on his feet.
- kino
you should all kys, redditgays
Dicks The Musical is missing from your list
bling ring blows
>barely lethal
if you go down the entire list its not even 40% kino
Bling Ring didn't 'blow', junior
Your dad needs to stop letting you use the internet this late.
I fricking love A24. It's the man of culture's choice
If you see this, you're about to watch ACTUAL kino
Share your favourite ones with us, sir

Ironic homosexual thread
What did we think of High Life? I was expecting an Event Horizon kind of thing but with death row inmates.
I liked Pearl and Mia Goth is my favourite actress
Same. I used to hate her but I've really come around to her and love all the horror roles she's picked up
Same boat. She's great in any horror.
Very interesting how Cinemaphile's attitude towards A24 has been changing for the last few weeks. From despised to generally loved. The Iron Claw was a masterpiece. The heaven scene broke me
a24 films have always been, mostly, great. there is just an association with reddit which causes the hate
people here can't stand the fact they share film taste with people they would disagree with on politics, social issues or hobbies
>High Life
>LE DOOMED COLONY SHIP IN SPACE
>but with a crying baby
off in 15 minutes
>Three tickets for me, my wife and my wife’s son for the newest A24-produced, genre-redefining, trope-subverting, atmospheric, dark and eerie, emotionally draining, gut wrenching, aesthetically heavy craft by post-horror auteur with an arthouse edge, dread-inducing, suspenseful build up with strong character development and gradual feeling of escalation, bone-chilling slow burn with “say more with less” approach and soul-shaking, blood-curdling, skin-crawling and nerve-wracking exercise in persistently looming dread where tension and anxiety permeates every frame as movie reaches its nail-biting, jaw-clenching and paranoia-inducing final climax, free of any cheap gore, cartoonish CGI or infantile jumpscares horror film, please.
Aftersun - 4/5
Hereditary, The VVitch, The Blackcoat’s Daughter - 3.5/5
The Lobster, Locke - 3/5
EEAAO, Under the Skin, The Whale - 2.5/5
The Green Knight - 2/5
A Ghost Story - 1.5/5
The Killing of a Sacred Deer - 0.5/5
Aftersun was a goddamn masterpiece and one of the best films I've ever watched
>girl is mopey and nostalgiac about her dad or some shit
I never bothered with it because the summary sounds like some depressing bittersweet wine-aunt film
Nothing like that really, it's memories of a summer vacation between a young girl and a depressed young dad
Very surprised to see so many anons appreciating Aftersun. What is it that makes you like it so much? (I still haven't watched it)
When you see this you know you are about to see true cinéma
Has anyone seen Reichardt's new film Showing Up? A24 are dogshit when it comes to UK distro and aren't even properly showing it here, only 2 cinemas I know in London have it and that's for like 6 total screenings combined
I just torrent everything, stopped paying £10+ to go to the cinema once zoomers started scrolling on their phones with brightness up the entire film and talking constantly to each other. A totally different experience to 20 or even 10 years ago. Nobody has any respect for each other anymore and it's ruined going to the cinema. I've noticed they don't even bother showing the slides about turning your phone off and not talking anymore. society has changed
I luckily don't get that in any of the kinoseums I'm a member of, mostly attend arthouse/repertory/indie places where everyone's chill and there to actually watch a film. Of course London is spoiled for choice when it comes to decent theaters, hate to live in places with only chain cineplexes
there's only one place like that I know in Cambridge but they hardly ever screen anything. all the normie cinemas like Cineword are done for, beyond salvation
Aren't Cineworld fricked as is anyway? Or was that VUE
How do they do it? Deal with the devil ?
You must be 18 to post here
Imagine knowing who made the film before watching it.
>or after
