>it's great >it's still good
What is great or good about it? Every single scene felt like it was written on a napkin ten minutes before shooting. Writing-wise, it's one of the most bizarre big-budget films I've ever seen.
I remember being really confused by their handling of A Dame To Kill For.
Like all the dialogue that really worked in the comic was changed into something that just didn't.
Also the gambler storyline was great but the Nancy plotline felt like bad fanfiction. I genuinely wonder if it was supposed to be a dream sequence or something.

>A Dame to Kill for >story in which Dwight gets plastic surgery >none of the characters playing him is Clive Owen
kek
>The Gambler
actually bretty good
>Nancy's Revenge >Nancy cuts herself because whatever >Marv's ghost literally distracts Rourke, so Nancy can kill him >ghosts in Sin City are canon now
kek
What a shitshow that was.
This. You can isolate the gambler as a short film and you got yourself kino
Explain the gambler to me. Is there anything more to it than a bastard son trying to one-up his dad? Why was he so lucky? Why was he only lucky in cards? What purpose did the stripper serve? What was up with that shitty fire escape scene? Or that shitty junkie doctor scene?

guy the first one was great, the studio really liked how much money it made. Now make another one with the same vibe and style on half the bidget. What no more original artwork? Just make up some shit, you've got a month
>ok so [name of bawd] lets talk about the poster >ok >so all the men are going to be clothed >ok >and we're gonna need you to be front and center wearing nothing but your bra >lol ok
I was gonna call you a lying sack of shit, but you're right. The torrents are still there, but even sites like 123movies have that abominable chronological cut. WTF?
Sin City 1 is unironically one of my favorite films of all time. The casting was so perfect. Clive Owen especially absolutely nailed it. His screen presence is unmatched
There's been a good sequel which is made decades after the original. I can't think of a single one. Don't come at me with Mad Max, you gays. You don't have a single example besides that anyway.
nothing. it's great. not as good as the first (extended cut) but it's still good
nah its shit wana know why? i loved the first sin city and i dont rmemeber shit about the 2nd aside the card game
oh damn, same

When they cast Joseph Levitt and CGI'd Eva Green. I also haven't seen this.
Eva Green's breasts.**
>Original released in 2004
>Sequel out in 2014
>release a sequel ~10 years after the first film
>"Why aren't people interested? They loved the first one in 2005!"

And then it took Frank Miller 10 FRICKING YEARS to come up with Nancy's Revenge that was total trash.
To be fair, that was after Miller went totally insane.

You realize that Nancy is a literal stripper, right?
Strippers don't wear bras
does anyone else think it's bizarre that the theatrical cut of the first sin city has disappeared from the web?
I was gonna call you a lying sack of shit, but you're right. The torrents are still there, but even sites like 123movies have that abominable chronological cut. WTF?
this has happened to a lot of stuff from the late 00's
there's a reason we say to seed all the time

there was a second one?
today I learned
>first movie is great
>sequel is horrible
shouldn't have been made
