What would they even do at this point? Dilbert's untouchable and Big Nate was DOA. Zits? Family Circus? Mafalda?

Yeah, we have literally no other comics you could do because ain't nobody doing Marmaduke. Wizard of Id or Hagar the Horrible, maybe.

      >JumpStart

Could all have great adaptations. Hell, at that point do a sketch comedy with all the comics a la Animaniacs.

None of those except Dick Tracy and MAYBE Bloom Country/Opus have any wide recognition. A Dick Tracy movie was already a notorious bomb too, and unlike Mario his series isn't popular

Jumpstart was actually recently planned to have a live action sitcom with terry crews. They started filming the pilot but something went down with it and cbs cancelled it.

I'd watch a jump start movie or show. A wholesome comedy watching this family span 3 generations might be fun.

Rosebuds, Crabgrass, and Phoebe and her unicorn, those three are the most modern newspaper strips. Definitely want Rosebuds to see Rosa’s massive mounds animated.

Rosebuds gets a show and Deon has a good amount of creative control, BUT it's a CG Nicktoon. Would you still take it?

people would probably compare it to the loud house or casagrandes and then get cancelled after one season

Family Circus should be entirely shown in a circle-shaped aspect ratio.

Wallace The Brave isn't very popular but it's probably the most open to an actual feature-length story. It's also the closest anyone's gonna get to a C&H movie

    >is the next mega trend going to be Sunday comic adaptations again?
No, because boomers are finally starting to die.
By the time the next Sunday comic adaptation comes out, 90% of them will be dead, thus 90% of their revenue is gone too.
