I don't care for the movie overall, mostly because so many of the battle scenes are obviously painted over war movie footage (no i do not consider it rotoscope, just a cheap copy over) but I do love all the nipply girls, and this scene where he just pulls out a gun makes me lol every time
Meh the movie goes to shit when Peace dies. It felt like it could have been great but it just lost focus. I think Coonskin is a better movie. Honestly the gun thing felt cheap too. Frankly the Demon/mutants were the good guys so it felt lame for them too lose. I had no empathy for the main characters outside of peace.
>Meh the movie goes to shit when Peace dies
I remember being irate that nobody did antying about Peace after he died.
My guy went from being a murderous robot to a living thinking person to a corpse and never even got a damn funeral.
I, personally, think Wizards would have worked better as a trilogy of films:
Part I would deal with the six terrorists who blew up the Earth with nuclear weapons and the futile attempts of the world governments to stop them
Part II would explain the rise of the fairies, elves, wizards, and mutants from the nuclear ash and the reign of Queen Delia and the lives of Avatar and Blackwolf, ending with the climactic and visually spectacular battle between the brothers for rule over Montagar
Part III would be a remake of the original film, with the return of Blackwolf and his Nazi mutants; Necron 99 would be touted as a prototype superweapon being field-tested before mass production; and, ultimately, the film would end with Avatar anticlimactically killing Blackwolf as a stark contrast to the ending of the second film and marrying Elinore’s thicc ass
Yo, Ralph Bakshi, come steal my IP address and hit me up; I can help develop this War Wizards trilogy into something epic.
I'm tired of being bored of WW2. WW2 was cool. WW2 separates the modern world from History. WW2 was the point when all the cool stiff started to happen. No, I don't mean anti-Semitism; that's over 1000 years old, I mean nukes and computers and proximity detectors and massive civics projects.
It's like, we have thousands of years of events all over the planet (we can even make them up!), and it's just WW2 (or WW2 in [space/underwater/whatever]).
If it's like, in space or a setting like Indiana Jones I can watch it, it's just generic WW2 war movies or drama I can't stand. Particularly hate it when they use those camera filters.
I lost my shit for 5 minutes after watching this scene
this scene and the sexy male goblin made this movie worth it
Surprise Lugar always gets them.

>Notice a minor animation error
>Autism won't allow me to enjoy the scene
>notice any animation error
>autism allows me to enjoy the scene even more
This dialogue is really bad. The final one-liner is good but everything leading up to it is awful.
>this used to be considered bad animation
Take me back
Hilarious.
Can you imagine any modern cartoon ending like this?
Would have made Turning Red worth the price of a ticket.

it's a good movie
i'd watch those
I've seen this before. It's the pay-off. But I've never seen the setup. Thing is, you're supposed to give me the hook if you want me to watch.
Nobody cares. Did you think OP was shilling for a fifty year old Bakshi film?
Anyone else bored of WW2?
Careful, /misc/tards might hear you
Agreed. Bring on WW3.

All of those stuff you mentioned are bad
Yeah but it’s cool for fiction.
History is still happening Anon.
Very
