Is the solution to the Reeky Rat thing supposed to be IN the picture? I thought that was how these puzzles worked. But I don't see anything and rather think Reeky would run off to the hiding spot to see for himself and Slylock would follow him.
Moreso if the friend was one of the ones whose phone got stolen.
>supposed to be IN the picture
Not necessarily, but sometimes. Really clever puzzles will include a hint in the picture instead. This particular mystery isn't really one of the better ones.
Who's the pink-haired girl rat?
Wanda Weasel.
She's in a band with Reeky Rat.
What type of music do they play?
They're referred to as 'punks', so I assume.. punk. That would fit the clothing styles, too.
She used the vacuum cleaner?
The icecubes didnt melted.
The door goes inward?
The pan is too small?
They are too big for her thin fingers?
And can we agree there are alot of Wanda Weasel here?
These guys are scamming, stealing and lying so often that I'd always assume their story is bullshit purely because of their history rather than any actual clues.
Are there ever instances where Cassandra, Wanda or some of the other usual suspects are actually innocent? Or are there cases where some of these repeat offenders accuse one another, and you have to figure out which one's lying and which one's telling the truth?
I haven't seen it happen yet, but a rivalry between Wanda and Cassandra would be an interesting plot.
there was that strip where slylock was creepin on cassandra (though she wasnt innocent because she enjoyed it)
There's this older one where Cassandra is among a list of suspects, but is innocent.
Also, another beach strip with everyone's favorite felonious feline.
Oh, I see what's going on here... Cassandra's plotting to trick Slylock into slipping a ring on to her finger. I bet the skunk's an ordained minister in disguise!
She's drawn hotter than before.
I approve
I think she was drawn under the instruction to emphasis the slimness of her limbs, to re-enforce the answer to the mystery.
I also approve.
Honestly, while the late Bob Weber Sr's art had its charm, Weber Jr brings such life and dynamicism to these scenes while still staying true to what his old man did. It's the perfect evolution in art styles.
I think it's less Bob Jr.'s art, as it is his art direction. I think it's his influence that keeps the strip in line with tradition, while some of the more dynamic elements are coming from his junior artists and colorists. That's mostly conjecture on my part however.
That's fair - I'm only going off what I can find on Wikipedia and the official website re: artists (for some reason, Wikipedia doesn't list Weber Sr as ever having worked on it)
What if he was groomed by the art to draw them waifu-tier? But possible he just knows that habing waifu-able drawings helps alot. He or his team learned from Furries and Otakus! Better businessman(men) than DC and Marvel combined!
He's known about the adult portion of his fanbase for awhile, it's his visits here that pushed him to do this.
Nice!
Noice.
This one is cheating!
The rings appear in an insert and we can't tell their actual size.
Oh? But you CAN see the size of the hippos fingers, and Cassandras. If anything, the inset keeps the answer from being *obvious*.
>angering a hippo
Cassandra isn't the smartest thief, is she?
