>smart, attractive, funny, and successful dad
>married to a naive, bossy, abusive wife
Why are modern cartoons like this? What a weird trend
>smart, attractive, funny, and successful dad

Why are modern cartoons like this? What a weird trend
I know right. Dude like that should be living like Wilt Chamberlain.
>modern cartoons
>shows a cartoon created 20 years ago
Stop reminding me
It's still a problem
What's wrong with Nicole? Or Duane?
They're mutual loving partners.
Also that. But back then the b***hy wife trope was a lot more prevalent across entertainment
Only modern example I can think of off the top of my head is Amity's parents and they're self-aware that her mom is a b***h
Any other examples of this?
This is the only one where that's actually accurate though.
The other 2 both had rather loving wives that weren't naive, bossy or abusive..... less i don't think Anne possible was bossy to him, I do remember a lot of the Dad telling the kids to 'listen to your mother'
Nah she wasn't bossy; she even went on a fishing trip with a lame hat because she wanted to spend time with her husband. Dads just say that when they don't feel like dealing with something minor.
I like how this is going to piss off the kim possible skitzo
Mmm, I don't recall Ann Possible ever being anything but agreeable with her hubby.
Don’t forget he was originally planned to be a werewolf!
Wrong Disney Channel dad.
New thread this time.
Ain't it great?

>married to a naive, bossy, abusive wife
He married his mother, it's a tale as old as time
is kim's mom NOT successful? she's a neurosurgeon after all
But she’s a ginger
WILL YOU STOP REPOSTING THIS THREE OR FOUR TIMES A DAY? At least you reword it, but still it makes you look like you have clinical brain damage.
Read the OP, this isn't "him". It was deliberately made just to piss him off
Not that guy (or that other one) but what humor is there in "Ha, I took your statement and made it express the OPPOSITE viewpoint!"? There's more to satire than that
>ADHD
LS/MFT
What does that mean?
i always answer that when someone merely comments with an abbreviation (usually YWNBAW or KYS). It's a bit of long forgotten pop culture.
KYS
>modern
This has been a trope since The Honeymooners. Probably before then too. I imagine it's cause conflict usually drives story and if the parents on a show get along too well it doesn't make for a very interesting product. Instead of an episode where the wife asks the husband to mow the lawn and he just does it you have them get into an argument about it or whatever and there's five minutes worth of shit. Fill it with drama or jokes or whatever you want.
>Master of science
>Confident and charismatic
>Healthy active lifestyle
>Single, stay-at-home father of 3 perfect girls
>straight and white

Wait isn't he asain?
No that's just what people that want him to be Samurai Jack hope
>married to a naive, bossy, abusive wife
Abusive? I don't remember anything mean about Dr Possible.
She was a ginger
The dude was a modernized Jonah Quest mixed a little with Professor Utonium. I fricking wish my dad was that Based.
Oh he's a genius that makes $500 an hour and is considered a world-expert in his field, getting regular offers for TV interviews... but he's a real hardass. Just not lovable.
I mean, tell me to frick off for playing armchair psychologist if you like, but maybe he's just tapped out from doing so much. Or maybe he's just the kind of person who enjoys his work so much he doesn't have the psychological breadth to invest that much in other people. Hyper-fixation is a b***h, and so is being hounded by morons for help.
to a naive, bossy, abusive wife
Speak no ill of Ann Possible, churl.
Dilf
He's ugly as shit
post more dads
No homie
Yes Yigger
>is unafraid to be who is is, even if it is some goofy accountant mother fricker

>accepting, goes from normal dude to knowing dragons, demons, and ghosts and shit exist and starts fighting shadow demons in less than a day
>Nails hot asian milf on a regular basis, relationship seems good aside from her lying unnecessarily
Johnathan Long was a chad
>WMAF
>chad
If I remember right Kim's mom wasn't really that bossy. Plus the b***h wife trope applies more to adult cartoons than anything else. Most kids stuff either tries to portray parents in mutually loving relationship or they just ditch the dad
>modern
The abusive wife has been a trope longer than there has been moving pictures
>that pic
why does she look so uppity
>single father
>Is a badass
>His daughter loves him
>His daughter's friends love him
>In a modern Disney movie
How the frick was it possibile?
>he's an ugly hambeast
That's how
how has nobody posted the dad from the proud family? doesn't he get shit on?
heh
The wife is hot too.
Chad and stacy couple.
