>Naomi Scott
I will now watch your movie. I would do anything for this Gujarati goddess.
you're not the only one
Back off she’s my wife
>premise combines several existing movies
This movie was written by AI, wasn't it?
What movies do you speak of?
>horse mane hair
>jaundiced piss color skin
>brown eyes
>poop-lip
>culturally appropriated name
into the Ganges with the rest of the human trash
you're supremely gay
The first one was also like that.
Most anti white woman picture I have seen.
Smile was like a corporate attempt to superficially combine a bunch of indie horror elements, notably Ari Aster's shtick into some Blumhouse bargain bin flick. It was pretty shit aside from the monster in the end.
I feel it's a spit on the audience face when your movie was unreliable narrator pov and "He was on a coma all along and it was all a dream!" type of stuff
Smile does this, oculus does this, and many others
Get frickd with your bullshit
Oculus wasn't really "it was all a dream", it was the mirror manipulating reality, and this concept was introduced basically from the start, so it wasn't some asspull. But there are examples when this does happen. For example I really didn't like that Kaufman pulled this in i'm thinking of ending things, I know that's how the book is, but it's so generic, he should have just left it ambiguous what the frick was happening in the movie rather saying "lol, it's a dying jannie's imagination"
Oculus ending is "the mirror did it" and smile ending is "smile monster did it", it's literally the "all you were seeing was all fake lol" case and you are deluded in thinking otherwise
I don't care if the movie outright tells me "the last 20 min of the movie are not real", that doesn't make it good, you are literally wasting 20min of the audience time and may as well play an unrelated short or something, it's lame writing trying to make it smarter than what you can actually write
A literal monkey can write "and then they all wake up in a mental hospital"
Get some fricking actual pride as a writer
>it's literally the "all you were seeing was all fake lol"
It was only one scene that was fake in Smile
Yes, the final scene when you think she'll beat the monster
I'm taking you didn't watched Oculus
Or they do shit like Relic where nothing makes sense but then you learn it was an allegory for Alzheimer's.
...what? Smile doesn't do that. There's no coma or anything like that, it ends with the main girl getting killed by the smile monster
NTA but it did that several times in the movie including a fake ending before the real ending.
She's cursed, that's the entire point! The visions are supposed to make her look crazy in front of other people and make her question her own fleeting sanity. The danger is very real for the main character, it's not fake
Didn't it happen from the cop's POV too though?
The ex boyfirend character? He gets in after the monster takes over and he gets cursed next
but these endings are mega kino
>like Smile
>like Naomi Scott
Say no more, I'm already hooked.
Has there every been a good sequel to a movie like this? I don't think so. In my mind once you do an ominous horror curse movie, any sequel falls on its face. Where are you left to go with it? These movies always work best as one shots.
>Not calling it "Smiles"
Dropped.
Vased
She's an angle
I really like the monster so it could be fun to see what more they do with it
Isn't she too pretty to be doing C-list horror trash?
Hey, this is B-list horror trash, thank you very much.
She's a hardcore Christian and won't get her bewbs out so she doesn't get much work.
Naomi a cute
le creepy smile
Arguably the scene with the skinwalker phsychiatrist was 10 times creeppier
I think the actress does a pretty good job of making a smile unfriendly. Not all the smiling people in the movie could pull it off.
I'll be honest I find this Aussie woman very beautiful. She can creepy smile at me all day.
Damn this shit needs a trigger warning
>he doesn't like women with sardonic grins
Ngmi.
Creature design in that was awful. Parker Finn is lucky he had the guy from It Chapter 2 help/inspire him for Smile. If he would've had him for Laura Hasn't Slept, and put the monster from Smile in that, overall that would be a much better project than padding out Smile as a feature film with boring trite shit like he did.
She should've been the main character as she is much more attractive than Sosie Bacon. Although I guess they wanted a more homely looking woman as the lead to feel more sympathetic towards. Sosie Bacon just looks way too much like her dad, ie she looks fugly as a woman. Looking at her IG, she has gotten worse with more tattoos and dyke haircuts. Sad!
Well she's meant to be an experienced therapist so looking more ordinary and circa 40 makes sense.
>circa 40
Sosie Bacon is 32, homie. She was 30 when the movie came out.
>she's younger than Caitlin Stasey who was played like a young woman come to see her
oof
That why the roles should've been switched. Although Caitlin's sardonic grin is much more unsettling than Sosie's one we see at the end. And Sosie acted as hard as she could for this, and came across as believable, probably better than Caitlin could've done trying to fake an accent the whole time.
I think they did fine with what they had, but could've done a lot better if the director had a better scriptwriter. He apparently wrote it himself and is doing the sequel as well. There is not one bit of memorable dialogue throughout the whole movie, just the typical cliched crap we've all seen and heard before. He is good at creating atmosphere, tension, and an eye for visuals and has tons of money now to pick a screenwriter, he should've done it before attempting a sequel. I just know this one is going to flop.
How do I download with beatsnoop?
I go on the website and can't find where to paste links?
What site are you trying to rip the image from? Depending on the site, it doesn't allow you to download the image in the highest resolution. For some, it does, though.
gettyimages
do i have to actually download software to download images?
Just type "beatsnoop getty" into Google and it's the first result.
https://gettyimages-downloader.beatsnoop.com/
Again, for some reason, some sites like Alamy don't allow for 3k downloads, but it works sporadically. Idk but give it a try. I'm pretty sure the Getty Images one works fine.
it keeps saying image not found when i paste in the link
What is the URL you're trying to download from? It has to be the one the image is on, like the one where you buy it at.
She cute.
Reminds me a lot of Dafne Keen, same kind of strong features and slightly swarthy look.
Much smaller eyes than Keen's round ones but yeah I can see that
She was also the main actress in the original short film the director made, Laura Hasn't Slept. Her appearance in Smile is sort of a loose remake.
>makes patient kill herself
What a terrible therapist
why do you always have to be contrarian. First smile is an excellent horror movie
It was good but the ending was gay
It was fine, well made but way too derivative of other recent horror films, to the point of recreating whole scenes. It was also too reliant on jumpscares, if they reduced them by 40-50% percent the ones remaining would be more effective. The director has some skill in creating mood and tension so I'm interested in the sequel.
What scenes, I would like to watch similar horrors
It Follows and The Ring (2002) were heavily referenced. Even the well known "saw her face" scene where they speak of a previous victim and then suddenly cut to their corpse being uncovered is done 1:1.
>It follows
Conceptually, not scenes
>Ring
Which scenes tho
I’m glad Naomi is getting some work.
Indian Tiktok tier
Chill out you fat b***h.
This is the worst pajeet scene I've ever seen. Another reason to get rid of migrants.
Problem, it's not a "pajeet" scene, it's an American scene.
For starters, it's referencing Jackie Chan's style, not Bollywood, second, it's an American film.
>moner and naomi in the same shot
i will now purchase your product
That's Becky G, not Moner.
this exact scene again but this time they're fighting over BWC
I liked Smile. I enjoyed the main character desperately trying to explain what she was going through and sounding like a complete fricking nutjob to everyone she opened up to. It was a pretty decent flick. I'll watch your sequel, Hollywood israelites.
I watch for she.
She only goes for black guys
*guy
Guy, singular, that she met in church. I'll give that a pass given she isn't white herself.
N E E D S

a white Chad wiener.
Smile fricking sucked.
It was just It Follows but for the Blumhouse crowd.
>naomi scott
Ticket preordered. Best brown babe in Hollywood history
first movie was pretty good
so by horror rules the sequel will be shit
>spend hour and the half covering some b***h's boring trauma with her mother and husband and childhood fears
>Cut in between the melodrama is lame spoopy monster
>She finally is about to face her fear
>Kill her off in the end
>Entire film is immediately a waste of time
Wow, nice!
Ironically a horror film that handle the final girl's trauma and overcoming of it a lot better was the possession of Hannah Grace. b***h actually battles her demons literally and figuratively.
>Demon in Hannah Grace kills EVERYONE instantly except the protagonist
Hannah Grace was cheesy girlboss shit. Smile was better
>horrorslop has limited success
>immediately make it as brown and jeeted as possible
t-thanks
make it as brown and jeeted as possible
Yeah I'm not gonna complain about Naomi Scott being in a film bro
If only every time something gets “brown and jeeted” was just hollywood inserting a super hot brown cutie. But unfortunately its just Zendayas all the time
While I thought the true reveal monster design was great, Smile overall was really boring and predictable. None of the scares were truly effective outside monster reveal. The whole "I'm cursed, now I have to investigate it and prove I'm not crazy" plot is so tired at this point. Just watch The Ring (2002) [or the '98 original for that matter], Final Destination (2000), It Follows (2014), The Babadook (2014), Hereditary (2018), or any of the other curse movies Smile is ripping off. Hell, just watch Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) for an actual good Horror film this one desperately wishes it was.
This is also why I will not be watching the sequel. First one already had a black boyfriend, israeli boyfriend, and POC characters shoved in everywhere, I knew that this director would cuck out and just make the following film even more pozzed. It's ironic he said he wasn't going to make a sequel at first, but then caved after they threw the shekels at him, probably under conditions he panders more towards minorities.
For a poo she's really cute..I would to french kiss her shithole
If they don't explain the giant framed Italian "Downhill Racer" movie poster from the first movie, I'm not watching it.
Naomi is beautiful so the sequel is already better
another dogshit horror nobody will remember in 1 year. Invest in joker for the gaga outrage, ingore smile 2
This is going to suck lol. Say what you want about Sosie Bacon, but at least she's white.
Ok, I will. She's much less attractive than Naomi Scott.
I don't disagree necessarily, but still not white and still used as propaganda, sorry.
Naomi is half white
Mutts aren't white, dude.
And her husband was black in the movie moron. Naomi is paired with the white guy from the first movie
It was her boyfriend, dopey, and she went back to her israeli ex detective by the end of it. And I know he was black, that was a moronic decision and one that took me out of the movie. Just one of many.
>white guy from the first movie
Not white.
>His father's family is israeli.[2]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Gallner
The black fiancee left her crazy ass and saved himself, she only went back to her detective ex when she needed information and cursed him in the end.
hmm
RLM said Smile is bad so it's objectively bad, period.
So did the dogfricker YMS guy. People who liked it were Doug Walker and MoistCr1TiKaL if that tells you anything.
I don't care he left her, he shouldn't have been in it at all promoting race mixing. But also she went back to the israelite cops house after she thought she had beaten the curse, she needed his company rather than her black bf.
get a personality
Not promoting this degenerate schlock is a start.
