CIA season was the last good season and even then that was still a husk of what it once was.
They never ever deal with other spy organizations, the Soviets have been off the show for a decade now. The entire format of the show is now too damn formulaic.

Apparently the cancelation caught the show's crew off gaurd. They geniunely thought they were getting more seasons. The new girl was supposed to replace Lana and Lana was going to assume Mallory's role. It didn't really work and the new girl is just insufferable because she has Archer's smug shit attitude but everyone trips over themselves praising her so she just comes off like a poochie

they were already talking about ending it at 10 seasons, how could they possibly think they had more, or WANT more. this season could not have been more 'winding down, finishing up' >poochie
