I watched Hazbin and enjoyed it so I decided to watch this shit.
First season was fun. Felt like a good adult cartoon that didn't go full Family Guy style "humor" like a lot of them do, and it seemed to be setting up some future plot points.
Then I get to the second season and all those plots are dropped in favor of gay sex drama. What a fricking disappointment.

Why doesn't hell gang up upon IMP? The answer is because Vivziepop didn't think of it. It's the exact reason why Vivziepop said that's why there's no Hitler or pedophiles in hell because their victims would gang up on them and kill them.
IMP seem pretty baseline, for hell at least, and surely they would have left a trail of people who wanted them dead.
Running Pogroms on the natives even for reasons like this seems like it'd be a good way to get into serious trouble.
Ignoring that, IMP provides a pretty exclusive service in terms of availability, nobody else seems to have the ability to do the job so it's probably a combination of not wanting to end up getting the backblast for cutting off the currently only way to frick someone over from the Afterlife for a lot of people, and IMP has clear and obvious connections to a member of the Goetia just to pull this shit off anyway so trying their luck seems like a bad idea.
Beyond that, the Pride Ring is apparently huge and assuming you end up in Hell you might never manage to find your way to them, let alone manage to kill them. Enroute, once you, assuming you even can, get your footing you might damn well be eaten and/or turned into a drugged up rape slave by any random fricker you come across at the extreme end of possibilities, and then you need to somehow take down the guys who are, canonically, very good at killing people after they already killed you once.
Sure, you can keep fricking trying, but it's still not exactly an easy job on paper.

An episode where I.M.P's victims band together seeking revenge would be a fun premise had the series stuck with centering around the business past season one.

I think IMP’s clients are kind of an exception anyway and that most sinners are too concerned with building a life for themselves in Hell and avoiding all the shitty pitfalls of being stuck there, and aren’t as interested in revenge or in sulking about being dead.
Though I do still think it sucks that a lot of this show’s villains of the week seem to have been forgotten when every single one of them was left off open ended with every reason to come back later, I also think the Murder Family was one of the more basic and less interesting ones, and I’m not too disappointed in them not reappearing.
I didn't care for them much either, I merely use them as an example because they're one of the few victims that had a good long while to see the I.M.P. members and weren't just blindsided by them. They'd have an easier time of piecing things together when they got to hell.
If it’s not interesting enough, it’s fine to just leave it behind and move on. Unless it were a glaring plot hole, which this is not. There are plenty of easily devised excuses for why these characters might have not reappeared. If it’s really bothering you, you can go ahead and assume it was quietly taken care of off screen in an incident that wasn’t worth wasting a whole episode over. Maybe you could make a fanfic about it. Or maybe Viv will one day do a mini comic or a cutaway gag addressing it-IF it’s a funny enough joke to deserve a cutaway gag.
Now, the complaint that bringing back the murder family would still be better than spending time on gay drama? that could be a fair point on its own. But I’m not gonna mix up “there should be less gay drama” with “there should be more murder family.” I don’t think either is great.
