I think this is the biggest problem facing tv, every new shitfest seems to have showrunner and writers with virtually no credits suddenly in charge of hundreds of millions of dollars. That and casting uggos with no charisma.

What's funny is that Stargate was already pretty "progressive". Sam is big brain solves all science problems. T'ealc is an honorable black family man. Daniel is a white dork.
