Peter is still saving civilians. He’s not evil, the suit is just amplifying his negative feelings from an already shitty situation.
If they do make Peter "give in" to Venom, I hope it's in a controlled way that's very recognizably still Peter making a choice ie willing to kill, but only targeting serial, unrepentant murderers either too powerful or well connected to face justice. Something that actually creates an interesting moral scenario for Miles to think through and develop his own unique moral code rather than the "rarr all petty thieves should die and I'll kill anyone standing in my way!" "no! killing is *never ever* the answer!!" most fallen cape stories devolve into.
Knowing how any cape media works, Spidey will basically get pushed too far by some jobber like Hypno-Hustler or something and then respond by beating him within an inch of his life before running off when he realizes what he did, and then everyone starts piling on him because they think he's out of control and needs to be put down. Which then does push him further over the edge due to the stress of being attacked by one's own allies, thus creating the out of control monster that said allies were attempting to prevent in the first place.
Yeah that doesn't make an ounce of sense when every incarnation of Spidey is canonically pulling his punches constantly so as to not splatter all regular criminals and like 90% of his named villains across the pavement. Plus the public, cops, and a handful of heroes finding a reason to dog pile on Peter is just an average day in his life.
Peter, in seemingly complete control and having gone through an experience negative enough to change his moral code to include killing is terrifying by comparison.
