Guy on the right is an OC. Everyone else is based in some way on a Ubisoft character or franchise (the Frog being the Assassin’s Creed member of this timeline)

Ubisoft really wanted an Edgerunners-type series to rehab their crumbling image, huh?

There's a funny ffench conference by bobbypills where they mention they thought they were being super original then the first image of Edgerunners popped up, dooming them to endless comparisons
First episode is DOGSHIT. Picks up pretty well after that, but then slowly declines. Can't say it sticks the landing.
Animation is inconsistent, sometimes being pretty good, other times having action that is nearly impossible to follow.
There are seemingly random video game-y segments that mostly feel like what a guy who has never actually played a game would make.
The Warden looks like a Clumzor character and it is drove me fricking insane the entire time I was watching because I swear I have seen her exact design before but can't find her. Beyond the main character having a robot arm and eye, the show has nothing to do with Blood Dragon. There is virtually no character motivation for anyone. Rayman is hilariously the only character to have an arc of any kind.
Fun to watch with friends, but I don't know if I would have been able to sit through it all on my own.

Yeah, that's Adi Shankar in a nutshell. He's an edgy homosexual who thinks "what if cartoons said FRICK" is the most mind-blowing thing imaginable. He doesn't care about the things he butchers, he just likes that he gets to put his own moronic spin on them while thinking he's being so fricking cool and aloof while he does it.
What made anyone think this was a good idea
Blood Dragon was a fun novelty that wore thin absurdly quickly
There's no actual story or setting to make a show with
>People fricking LOVE multiverse shit
Was the the thought process. Unfortunately Ubisoft’s ips haven’t had a single character people care about in well over a decade, beyond FC’s villains I guess but they’re not exactly versatile.
Yes. It has literally nothing to do with blood dragon. it’s just meant to be a big crossover show for ubisofts ips, but they’re all either irrelevant or unrecognizable to where it’s completely pointless.
Frog guy is meant to be AssCreed, Rayman in at the top, bottom left is Jade and Pey’j from Beyond Good and Evil. Brown dude in the center is Adi Shankur’s gay(literally) self-insert OC. No idea who anyone is else

There's Far Cry and The Crew characters. The Amanda Waller lady is probably Splinter Cell.

Right guy is from The Crew. From the trailers we know there's Pagan Min the bad guy from one of the far cry games, Marcus from Watch dogs 2, a rainbow six power ranger team, Sloan from the actual blood dragon game.

>Watchdogs, The Crew, and Rainbow Six
Jesus, Ubisoft properties all suck
I genuinely can’t think of a worse publisher than Ubisoft to do something like this with. Even fricking Activision and EA have more recognizable and beloved characters.
what makes you think I'd want to watch it
>I'd rather snort crack cocaine on a naked cowgirl's back then deal with this shit
>adi shankar
That is a no.
Why is rayman in this
He's the friendly face of fascism
hey guys look it's the real Captain Laserhawk
Ubisoft?
Oh ok is child of light in this
Who is pic related?
Genovefa
You prolly didn't recognize them but that's Jade and Peyj from BG&E on the left
whos the guy that looks like dcau captain boomerang?
you mean the guy in the middle?
I meant the one on the right, is he from something? He actually looks more like the actor from SS rather than the animated version now that I notice.

He's not an OC, actually from The Crew
Don't tell me that, I'm still waiting for the sequel I don't need this in my life.
Supposedly BG&E2 existed to keep Michel Ancel happy so since he's been gone for a couple years it's destined to die
Pagan Min is also in it as a villain. Pretty sure every character is representing a Ubisoft property
>BG&E is relevant again
>The heroes look like THAT
I fricking hate Ubisoft so much it's unreal
Is it related to the ADH thing called Major Lazer? I remember liking like 3 episodes.
Why the frick is everyone like Jade and Pey’j so unrecognisably different, but Rahman is just Rahman?
The concept is it's Ubi's Captain N, including getting most characters wrong in various ways.
What
Fricking sucks like the rest of Adi Shankar's animated abortions.
>ubisoft show
Does it come with a list of things to do and some towers to climb?
actually, yes
There's a funny ffench conference by bobbypills where they mention they thought they were being super original then the first image of Edgerunners popped up, dooming them to endless comparisons
It's funny because literally nothing Adi Shankar has ever worked on has been remotely original or creative.
I tried playing that game after I finished Farcry 3 but it wouldn't run for some reason and I never tried to fix it. Shame, the trailer was cool.
From the trailer it appears to just be Suicide Squad but filled with Ubisoft references
Anyone got a link?
For those who aren't Cinemaphileirgins, this is the pure 80s kino Blood Dragon actually is
The last decade has been a fricking nightmare.
The 80s weren't like that.
It's an 80s pastiche of future/alien tech. The game's hilarious.
80s pastiches weren't like that either
from Cinemaphile

Sounds like Adi all right

It's a multiverse project?
I don't recognize a single face or design on the poster
Yes. It has literally nothing to do with blood dragon. it’s just meant to be a big crossover show for ubisofts ips, but they’re all either irrelevant or unrecognizable to where it’s completely pointless.
Who are they all supposed to be?

Nudity or is it like every Netflix show where dongs are everywhere but no breasts in sight?
Where's ezio auditore da firenze
Why are they all black?
Is Adi on a one-man crusade to make the shittiest video game animes known to man?
> Rayman is a drug addict
> The two chars on the left are supposed to be Jade and Pey'j
Is that brown Cobra?
Brown and gay
Is he really gay?
The trailer has a gay sex scene with his boyfriend so probably.
This show really exposes Ubisoft for being such a horrifically lame and uneventful studio even after 30 years of being able to make their own IPs.
I genuinely can’t think of a worse publisher than Ubisoft to do something like this with. Even fricking Activision and EA have more recognizable and beloved characters.
Ubisoft HAD great IPs and protagonists but they've pissed all the goodwill away.
>The Prince of Persia
>Jade
>Rayman
>Altair
>Ezio
They even own Might & Magic, so a Sheltem or Corak cameo would be nice
The show looks like made by committee shit
