I've watched and enjoyed it (Think it could do better in some aspects) but I gotta question of what made it resonate with so many people? Is it because of the 2000's sparkledog aesthetic that has been lost in the modern cynical internet? I would've answered with my own reason but it probably wouldn't be THE reason.
Because it's completely different from all the family guy or rick and morty clones that plague adult animation. It being so different looking will naturally make it stand out and get people's attention.
2nd one is already confirmed, 3rd honestly seems pretty likely if they even need it for the story Viv wants to tell, which IMO with what she set up so far, this show feels like something that can be wrapped up in 3-4 seasons with the seasons going forward being like
2nd: The Vees, as they were pretty shafted for the most part in the criminally short Season 1
3rd: Heaven's comeback (finally), with Lute leading the charge, potentially where Lilith might make her moves too?
4th: Alastor finally betrays the group, potentially involving Lilith some more, probably fractures the group unless Alastor somehow loses control of Niffty and Alastor.
If the future seasons are only 8 episode 24 minute shits though, I could see the 2nd and 3rd season being condensed down conceptually, which at least would leave the 4th season concept to play out without much interruption in a 3rd season instead.
I feel like season 2 needs to just let the Vees be more comedic low stakes villains while setting up season 3 which should be a longer season than 1 and 2
