No they confirmed he was replaced a few weeks ago in SDCC:
During San Diego Comic-Con 2023, producer Steve Levy stated that Roiland's voice work will be replaced by soundalikes but there will otherwise be no changes in the characters
I just watched a few episodes of solar opposites. Roiland 100% was carrying the shit writing with his delivery. I now believe rick and morty was probably the same way. Solar Opposites sucked donkey balls without him. I hope normies turn on roilandless RnM

Bleergh, only got through the first episode and half the second. But I believe that YOU enjoyed it and if my bad luck holds, it means everyone else did and jackshit will happen and yet another show I liked is ruined for me. fml.
I'd give it more of a chance, if I were you. If you only got through one and a half episodes, you missed a lot of great content. They don't make the accent irritating, nor do they try to hide it. And there were so many great little plots. The silver cops stuff is kind of filler-y, but I feel like they used this season to transition out of The Wall (which is good, they wrap things up nicely while leaving the possibility open for more) and are setting up for some more interesting stuff with the silver cops later. I really liked the return to the wooden city, and the "mobile aisha emitter" episode was really nice. The pupa trying to "make the world a better place" was a nice extension onto the bit from an earlier season where he grew that leg to try and get candy and that bit where he scammed that lady and her father's company to get those puff ball snacks. There's a lot to enjoy about the new season, and not being able to enjoy it because you're mad about Justin Roiland only serves to deny yourself some amount of joy in the limited amount of time any of us have left on earth.
I hated every single second he was talking onscreen and I'm done giving shit second chances because "it gets better". I did it for the legend of zelda, I did it for disney wars, I did it for magic the gathering, I did it for d&d, I keep giving things second chances and all I get is being mad at shit I don't need to get mad at. Enjoy the version of things I used to like, as redesigned for you. I'll just deal with being a media hermit living under a rock.
I won't tell you to give it another chance/etc. but I will let you know the first two episodes are the most jarring because Dan Stevens dubbed over Roiland so it made his delivery a mess. It does get better but I can understand if the change is too jarring.
The voice change wasn't a deal breaker for me, and in a lot of ways I think it makes Korvo stand on his own opposed to just feeling like Rick-lite, but I am concerned on what the writing is going to be like next season when it's fully Roiland-less.

That's a really great point, because his character on paper would really come across as someone who should have an english accent. Almost like getting justin roiland to do it was solely because of his success on rick and morty.

Apparently the new voice actor is this newcomer named Dustin Schmoiland. It's his first acting credit so I'm excited how he'll do.

I agree, it definitely did sound like either a very convincing AI imitation (that, in the long term, would get very very noticeable) or it was someone doing a very good impression that then got audio-nudged into being a more perfect imitation, like autotune. A new voice actor got it 90% of the way there and a computer took it over the finish line? Either way I'm reluctant because it seems like both options would become irritatingly off over time, like you might come to notice he says his 'ah' sounds wrong every time or something and once you notice it you can't stop picking at that scab

None of that matters, Cinemaphile hates Rick and Morty and wants it to die. They'll go from saying that the show hasn't been the same since season 3 due to Roiland's lack of influence and therefore it should('ve) die to pretending that the show was actually good this whole time because it turns out, the post-season 2 era was apparently full of that classic Roiland improv magic and therefore, without him the show will be finally dead.

Given that Hollywood celebs signed a petition for Polanski to be forgiven, Major Kang gets to stay on Disney despite beating his girlfriend, kids' movies use music made by felons, wifebeaters etc, I just think it's hypocritical to boot Roiland off the show even though I still think he's a bad person. Harmon's baby routine is just as much of a PR nightmare, it just didn't gain traction so he got to stay.

I remember reading that article, and it all makes sense. It's been clear that Justin and the writers clearly weren't seeing eye to eye about the direction of Rick and Morty.
My question is, why did he have to use Solar Opposites and his game company as well? If he didn't do the crime, and wasn't making their lives miserable - I don't understand why he had to be cancelled from those as well.

Roiland recorded all of his dialogue before he got fired. And things are so bad at Discovery (and so much for Adult Swim hinges on Rick and Morty lasting at least through the remaining seasons on the 70 episode order they greenlit) that they are using said audio so they can buy time to not frick up the recast, since the last time they rushed a recast, Squidbillies, fricked over the show to the point that they had to cancel it.
We stand firmly against Roiland, but will continue to rely on his talent for our financial gain for as long as it doesn't affect our bottom line.

Unironically most of the appeal of this show is gone without Roiland. What I think of him as a person is separate from what I think of both his writing and performance on the show. Without him starring and writing, it's going to be unlikely I'll be interested in continuing to watch this.

He hasn't been writing since season 2 and it was abundantly clear by season 3 that Justin had little say in the writer's room. If you've had no issues with the writing in seasons 3-6, than the only "appeal" lost to you is Justin's voice.

Still - His voice and performance along with a weird sense of the sunk cost fallacy were the last reasons I was still watching.

You could tell that, especially around the time Justin was shopping around Solar Opposites (which Dan was pissed about) that he was already done with Rick and Morty. I'm concerned that, as Solar Opposites continues, it'll begin to drastically change from a writing stand point. This season was clearly written before Justin was shit canned so I'm unsure what the future holds for it.

All of Roiland's voices are actually really easy to imitate I dunno why anyone would think he's not replaceable.
I have no real problem with roiland, myself, nothing he did is any different than anyone else you might find out about in the entertainment industry, because creatives are always a little bit insane and some of those people are going to be creeps. And I have to give him credit, all outside factors aside, all writing and everything aside, just solely looking at his ability to read a line and deliver it, Roiland did a damn fine job on both shows. Just considering his ability to read a line for, say, Morty, or Korvo, or Blendon Blandon, and looking at his line read and how he comes across, how natural it sounds, how much emotion he might be able to put into the words, he does a fine job. People make fun of the "pickle rick" kind of stuff, but that's all because of context, not content. Take all that away and he did a fine job. But he's not special. Anybody can do a fine job. Korvo's new voice actor did an equally good job if not better. Mabel's voice actress was irreplaceable. Roiland is not.
