The Aquila Rift one was the most basic sci fi epic twist horror ever. Don't get why it's liked it at all. The Conquistador one is a masterpiece. The Pirate one is cool too
Pop Squad from Season 2 is really excellent. Art deco noir sci-fi mixed with post-apocalyptic Kowloon mega city blocks, and for once had a pro-natalism message which was unexpected.
I wish there were studios that did more cool sci-fi animation like it. It shows that western animation studios can do more than just generic Disney and Dreamworks style trash.

From what I recall reading, they basically just gave each animation studio a blank cheque and told them that they can do whatever they want to fill the 20 minutes. Some are from studios that do game cutscenes so it's to be expected that they'll be that same flavor of bland, but the few good ones show what happens if you don't let an algorithm and charts decide everything.
season 1 was good. season 2 went the generic "thing becomes popular route" with every story being about Blacks and strong wyman with white men beng sidelined to weaklings or bad guys to make said Blacks and strong wyman look good in comparison.
