>Matt and Trey abandoned the Kenny dying joke because they thought it was getting old
>They abandoned Liane being a bawd gag because they thought it was getting old
>They abandoned Cartman's catchphrases because they thought it was getting old
>But they think Randy dude weed lmao is the pinnacle of comedy worth stretching out for more than 6 years.
>let me get this straight
>South Park thread
You can’t it’s impossible.
>dude weed lmao
>recent commissioned special is about pandering
>they've been pandering to liberals
>more than 6 years
Has it actually been this long?! Jesus…
Everything else you listed went away in less time.
I don’t even know what Cartman’s mom’s personality is supposed to be now. She’s just like every other woman on the show now.
Kenny dying lasted nearly 10 years
>I don’t even know what Cartman’s mom’s personality is supposed to be now. She’s just like every other woman on the show now.
She's literally just a generic single mom who's used for "le sad emotional piano music" scenes. Both Kenny dying gag and Eric's mom's a bawd gag had a shorter lifespan than DUDE WEED FARM
>"le sad emotional piano music" scenes
god, i've genuinely grown to hate these scenes. every time i hear the emotional piano cue i get pissed off, and in more recent seasons that's about every 5 minutes. even the games overuse it. and it's the EXACT SAME notes every single time.
How about when there's "uh oh" music with the piano notes and then the low strings to tell you something is wrong?
homie, they were checked out before Tegridy Farms even started. They don't care anymore. Stick of Truth was the last time they were really involved as much as they used to be.
I'm glad they did away with Kenny dying and the I learned something today thing at least. I miss Eric's mom being a bawd tho
>б'жe мOй!!1! OнИ yБиЛи КeHнИ!!
>тЫ cУчКи1!!*~~*~~*~~)
the sudden Russian is my favorite mythical animal
Eric's mom has a dick. I don't care that they retconned it.
Wait, is South Park still the Randy Show?
>they retconned Liane being an actual futa
For shame!
They use him as a vehicle for their ultimate libertarian ideal of property ownership and weed. It gives room for political points they want to make to be made as well as gives business ownership and branding drama as plot points.
The exact moment South Park went to shit
>>But they think Randy dude weed lmao is the pinnacle of comedy worth stretching out for more than 6 years.
They don't. That was the whole point of that episode recently where he tried to go back. South Park's in the moment writing style means that whatever consequences they have from writing, they gotta deal with it. Randy's weed farmer bit was written in the moment before realizing it had to stay due to continuity issues. It still being a thing is a meta commentary on it and I still don't get how people don't understand this after one of the episodes directly tells you this to your face.
Meta commentary or not, it's just not funny
They are americans, they think weed is the funniest shit ever
What are you talking about? Kenny died for 14 years. Six years is maybe middle time of a running gag.
"Kenny dies" was in season 5, that was the moment where they stopped forcing themselves to kill him every episode and only do it when it feels natural since then.
Matt and Trey have never been very good at learning or admitting they were wrong, so it should not surprize you that the worst joke on the show is dragged out to define it.
>They think Randy is the funniest character period
I seriously stopped caring when it became a thing that every episode would focus on how stupid or eccentric he was.
Tegridy Farms is just their way of saying that you should've stopped watching the show years ago. Take the hint.
>>Matt and Trey abandoned the Kenny dying joke because they thought it was getting old
>>They abandoned Liane being a bawd gag because they thought it was getting old
>>They abandoned Cartman's catchphrases because they thought it was getting old
Anon...they dropped that shit nearly 20 years ago
Don't forget Pip.
Randy, Matt, and Trey are having a midlife crisis and the stupid weed farm is how they cope with it.
>They abandoned Cartman's catchphrases because they thought it was getting old
Pretty sure there was a "respect my authoritah" in the episode involving Bane voice-changer masks.
remember when spontaneous combustion was a big scare?
