There’s been rumors going around for a few weeks now that C3PO and Leia (played by Millie Bobby Brown) are going to appear on Ashoka in either episode 7 or 8. They’ve already used O’Reilly to play Mon Mothma POST RoTJ. Which is very telling about the direction that they are going, because O’Reilly was meant to be young Mothma.
Also, the announcement of the Lando movie pretty much guarantees that they are going full recast at this point.
