Are you one of those morons that think casual dating didn’t exist before the 90s?
how was Friends any more degen than Seinfeld? both had endless hookups, at least Friends had marriage and children
[...] >Show goes downhill when Rachel becomes pregnant amen Monica and Chandler get married.
you mean when Phoebe got pregnant? I agree there is a decline in the show when it went from 6 young-ish friends to married 30 year olds acting like teenagers
it's pretty obvious they did the gay couple for laughs, not to "be progressive", which is why they're pretty much written out past season 2 or 3 or whenever
Stop being a dim-witted revisionist. They were written out of the show because of how much people disliked seeing this lesbian couple portrayed as a positive on the show.

Still stand by saying that the early seasons of friends are good. Show goes downhill when Rachel becomes pregnant amen Monica and Chandler get married. Later seasons are pretty bad with Joey becoming moronic and that stupid love triangle

Always found it funny how there was an episode in the early seasons where Chandler is made fun of for being fat even though he looked skinny and good at that point. Then, in the later seasons when he becomes bloated, no one brings it up
Why did Chandler get made fun of so much? >constantly called gay even though he doesn’t act gay >considered a loser for only sleeping with 3-4 women >still gets made fun later on despite being the only one with a successful marriage
Chandler was a rich yuppy, mocking him was the only way to make him relatable. he made as much as the rest of them combined.
his savings alone were insane enough after half a decade to pay for a wedding in new york. that would be like 50K usd even in the 90s
Why was Friends so terrible at ditching love interests they were done with? Cop guy randomly shooting birds, Gill Bates trying to kill himself in the octagon.
How hard is it to write a normal breakup?
I love friends but the cop ending (Gary) always bothered me. Why the frick would a New York cop think it's ok to shoot a gun IN an apartment and out the window?
He lives with pheobe at this point, there's no way he wouldn't know her love for animals. It felt so abrupt like a child grooming scandal was about to break about the male actor or something.
They kept writing themselves into a corner with the multi-episode long romantic interests. They wanted the audience to care about the relationship, so they made the love interest characters incredibly charming, sympathetic, and embody all but everything one of the main cast wanted in a bf/gf. The problem is that they usually ended up making them so idealized it would be unbelievable the relationship would fall apart, so they usually just made them suddenly craaaaaazy to get them out of the show.
>Aisha Tyler is an accomplished academic into the same paleontology autism as Ross admires him as an intellectual equal >"Just kidding she's actually still obsessively into her ex she's mentioned once and cheats on him!" >Elle McPhearson is a beautiful, sophisticated dancer from Australia who can resist Joey's surface level seduction but genuinely cares for him on a personal level and wants to build a serious relationship with him >"Just kidding she suddenly hates Chandler and Monica for no reason and is such a huge c**t to them she torpedoes their relationship in like two days!" >Jon Favreau is an obscenely wealthy but still down to earth billionaire who is a hopeless romantic, desperately in love with Monica, and wants nothing more than to sweep her off her feet and adore her >"Just kidding he's actually always been suicidally obsessed with becoming an MMA fighter even though he only brings it up the same episode he's written off???"
>theme song makes it sound like they’re just making it by and go through many trials >none of the characters actually face real problems throughout the show
The closest was Rachel who had no life experience trying to make it in NY but she gets bailed out by Monica and magically finds a career in fashion despite her only work experience being a waitress
>Ross and Rachel get together >Monica and Chandler get together >Joey ends up alone and Phoebe gets with a random guy who’s barely in the show
Weird, how they didn’t pair Joey and Phoebe together. Maybe it would’ve been too much for them to pair all of the main cast with one another
First for Monica
last for monica
You can post this image a thousand times and it will still be just a picture of her with the FaceApp age filter.
this was a israelite psyop
the beggining of degeneracy
Shut up gay
get it? because bing?
lesbian couple mother of ross's son
it's pretty obvious they did the gay couple for laughs, not to "be progressive", which is why they're pretty much written out past season 2 or 3 or whenever

Susan and Caroll were portrayed as mean, selfish, and unlikable from the start

Ross carries the later seasons
Kino sandwich guy
YOUR JOB'S A JOKE
YOU'RE BROKE
AND ALL YOU WANT IS A HOT MEAL
Aniston knew what she was doing there.
Jennifer Aniston has such a sex lower back.
She provided us with a lifetime of booba
my favourite moment of the entire show
of course joey is just carrying a spoon around for such an ocassion
It's for hot meal
it's fork, not spoon
Aniston fricked a lot in her life, yet no babies
so noone told you life was gonna be this way
your son is a troony, your wife rides a BBC
your score credit is DOA
After Aniston, who had the best career post friends?
chandler bing
Leblanc, He hosted Top Gear for a couple season, was just in a fairly successful sitcom that ran for 4 seasons, was in Episodes
Cox, but Kudrow appears in stuff here and there
Leblanc is the most successful of them all easily
>Episodes
>Top Gear
>Man with a Plan
What did everyone think of Ross in OJ vs America?
I didn't like Friends that much.
However, I did enjoy How I met your mother despite being a shitty knock off. Yeah it was awful, but I liked it.
HIMYM was that special kind of show where every season you watch it you go "God this is garbage, I guess last season wasn't nearly as bad as this".
HIMYM has hotter women, friends always tried to cast extras who were less hot than the leads.

that's how you'd call someone an incel loser back then
Its called a joke

how did israelites create such a rewatchable kino?
Cinemaphile is a joke, its broke,
janny is G A Y
Chandler X Phoebe is the true power couple, too powerful for the show itself
OOOOH-WA-AH-AH-AH
did someone say hot meal

They didn't want to get accused of ripping off Living Single anymore than they already did.
Yvette Lee Bowser creator of Living Single was disappointed that the show was not promoted as much as Friends.

Back then you could apparently get away with this kind of thing.

Wow...Friends is...le Big Bang Theory of the 90s!!!
For me, it's Chandler's mom.
Woof.
