Nothing good. So long as israelites control Disney it is doomed.

And there is nothing to look forward to. Disney is a damaged brand. The mask fell off and Disney is being replaced by Nintendo.

Do you know who Nintendo IS? Or are you this damaged by sidegayging that you'd see someone you hate eat an orange while you're enjoying some grapes, and start calling oranges the enemy of grapes?

QRD? We don't know for sure what'll happen in Disney is taken over, but one thing I can assure you, it's not gonna be bad
Disney is already is such a sorry state, a takeover will be a joy to watch
Best case scenario, it improves. Worst case scenario? It only gets worse, and with the way the company is right now, worse means past rock bottom and a shovel in hand to keep on digging, and THAT will be hilarious in a different way

Hopefully they sell the US parks to OLC, the Japanese have proven they understand the Disney brand better than Disney themselves.

but would they want to work outside of Japan?

      >what do you think will happen?
Mass firings of the upper management.

oh no doubt they will clean house and start over.

Anon, theme parks are literally the only thing those companies such as Disney and Universal are making better profits than Japan. It would make more sense to Disney to sell their studios to Japan and try to buy Six Flags and Sea World

        That wouldn't make any sense.

The Return of the King. Starting with the immediate return of Alien Encounter and remaster of Captain Eo.

Based, the older I get the more I start to like Eisner. He was a cheesy goofball but he also had so much soul and creative vision compared to Iger.

honestly if you exclude his last few years in the 2000s and Euro Disneyland, he had a solid run.

What happened to him that he thought that budget parks like California adventure, Hong Kong Disneyland and Disney Hollywood Studios Paris were good ideas?

board ends up changing to remove Iger allies, possibly Iger gets forced out down the line
Likely a sell-off of parts of Disney.
A lot of cost-cutting which is both good and bad.

LucasFilm definitely since Disney definitely fricked it

I could see that because of how badly they performed and the numerous PR nightmares from it, but I think there's still a chance they may keep it for a while longer. There's a few other things they were already floating around to sell off like ABC or something, so those may go first

Their PR departments have been consistently very bad. TRON did not get the right PR and John Carter of Mars was destroyed by incompetent PR people.
The PR departments should definitely be hosed down with fire.

they really need good marketers and not morons.

True. Unfortunately there are no competent people to be found.
Just now TRON 3 Ares is being filmed, but there are no marketing efforts done, nothing to whet the appetite for a movie that clearly will appeal to a demographics with plenty of disposable income.

I don't know what the likely scenario is, but I can formulate a nightmare scenario.
    -Nelson Peltz takes over.
-Jay Rasulo becomes part of the board.
-Gets access to all internal documents full of wrongdoing by Disney. As former CFO, Rosulo knows where to look.
-Voluntarily turn information over to federal government, which might be Republican-controlled in 2025.
-Mass arrest of former and current executives and former RCID government workers. Much of the board is forced to resign. Rasulo gets immunity.
-In exchange for bodies, Disney assets largely left untouched, gets hit with moderate fine.
Of course, it doesn't need to get to this point. The simple fact that Rasulo knows where the figurative bodies are buried means Peltz can use that as leverage against Iger and his allies, and bring them to heel.

This is, what, the third time this has happened?

First time was earlier this year, but stopped because they came to an agreement

This is the second time, because Peltz felt dissatisfied by Disney's performance this year

Well, similar crisis happened in the late 1970's when Disney was doing badly to the point the company was considering selling everything except the theme parks.

Roy E. Disney, Walt's nephew was pissed on what happening to the company that his uncle and father founded. So he did a bunch of board deals that kicked out the then leadership and brought in Eisner.

In the end it does not matter because Disney is stuck in the sinking ship that is the american animation industry. 40 Years ago no one knew what anime was, 30 years ago it was niche, 20 years ago Japan and US were "rivals" now it's just anime.
