Like I know you're joking, ya know, "haha Black Rock". Look at their holdings dawg, it's (mostly) public information. They can lose on some things and gain on others. Same with Vanguard, another big moronic hedge fund that pushes ESG.
only terminally online moronic raimigays liked that movie, I mean theme park ride, so I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't turn up as much profit as initially reported.
>Doctor Strange 2 cost $300 million somehow >Black Panther 2 cost $250m >Ant-Man 2 cost $200m+ >Fast X $340m >Little Mermaid $250m >Elemental $200m >Flash $220m+ >Indy 5 $300m+
All these movies are money laundering operations. The budget they throw into this slop doesn't show at all.
According to Deadline, it barely made anything. 284M profit, minus 180M which Disney just paid itself for Disney Plus, with the extra 94.5M in production expenses, that's only like 9.5M in profits, without accounting for tax breaks or potential Disney+ revenue.
I'm a big Doctor Strange fan, but I honestly doubt he does big numbers in the toys department. Strange has always been an awkward hero in that sense. I don't think he has much kid appeal. Even when he started in the comics his readers were pot-smoking college students that sent ganja to Marvel Comics in the mail. I don't know if adult fans are buying Strange toys. I'd buy a Doctor Strange dildo molded to look like Benedict Cumberbatch's dick, though.
That's a shame. I think it was pretty cool stuff for that price tag. The Rintrah and Wong in particular look really good. Is there a site for toy numbers? I'd like to read more.
>disney hasn't made a single cent in profit from movies in 2023
That's insane, this is unsustainable. They HAVE to make good movies again, it's either that or bankruptcy
I don't give a frick about yidsney but I do care if my cities theater goes under. I don't want a fricked up downtown
The lgbtq+ book store is already going under (good) but it also means half a block is gonna be empty (bad)
This shit compounds, something has got to give. Let theaters show old movies people liked or something if they can't be asked to make good news shit
Between that and the article from earlier this year that had this chart, either someone has it out for Disney, or Iger himself is allowing these in the press to prepare everyone to be unsurprised at budget slashing and firings
>Iger himself is allowing these in the press to prepare everyone to be unsurprised at budget slashing and firings
Based. I don't hate Disney, tbh, but it's obvious some people need to go. The MCU is a sinking ship. I think maybe Kevin Feige should go if he thinks Multiverse of Madness was a good movie just because he jerks off to Raimi and Ricky and Morty.
>Someone has it out for Disney
I'm sure none of the original Disney employees, who joined for their love of Star Wars or Indianna Jones, and their desire to create new wonderful adventures that would become cinematic classics, have no issue with a bunch of talentless ethnically-challenged feminists being promoted above them with the express mandate of destroying everything they cared about and loved.
Can you imagine growing up, learning everything you can about cinema and filmmaking because you love Star Wars, you work as hard as you can and study and strive finally achieving your lifes dream of working at Lucasfilm...
And then Kathy Kennedy rocks up and says "the force is female, bigot! This is your new boss Shamawuanqashika. We hired her off deviant art because she hates white men."
I'm surprised no one has gone postal and shot the place up, tbh.
They lose money with everything now.
Don't worry, Blackrock will keep them afloat
can Blackrock give me money? I promise to spend my entire budget on stupid bullshit.
Are you transgender?
Do you enjoy black wiener?
If there's a steady paycheck in it, I'll enjoy anything.
Like I know you're joking, ya know, "haha Black Rock". Look at their holdings dawg, it's (mostly) public information. They can lose on some things and gain on others. Same with Vanguard, another big moronic hedge fund that pushes ESG.
Blackrock will sink too
Why do they lie about their budgets? Isn't that deceiving investors?
It's complicated, goy. You couldn't possibly understand.
yellow press is israeli press
hollywood accounting is israeli accounting
larry finklestein has their back
That fricking butthole had to hire private security recently. Good. I'm glad he feels scared. Frick him.
Ashamed means "oh shit the goyim know"

yeah but does that including profit it makes off toys and shit?
Nah that market is dead and only brought up by coping disney trannies

The Marvel Legends wave for Doctor Strange 2 mostly shelf-warmed

I feel like no one on this board has heard of Hollywood accounting.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_accounting
Any budget Hollywood claims is a fabrication in order to avoid paying a shit ton in taxes.
God, that movie was fricking terrible.
my favorite scene was when the two teenage boys rehearsed a song about ice cream so that they could sing it to their mother. Cringe kino.
My favorite scene is when Scarlet Mary Sue defeated Charles Xavier in a psychic battle while Sam Raimi jerked off to Elizabeth Olsen's feet.
It made 950M and with that budget the break even point is 740M. So it did make money
>disney hasn't made a single cent in profit from movies in 2023
That's insane, this is unsustainable. They HAVE to make good movies again, it's either that or bankruptcy
they make most of their money off theme parks and resorts anon not to mention all their licensing deals
I don't give a frick about yidsney but I do care if my cities theater goes under. I don't want a fricked up downtown

Are you so new you haven't heard about Hollywood accounting yet
Bet they parked the profits offshore and are using the "losses" to offset some future taxes they'd need to pay
Anon they've lost almost 70% of their market value in less than two years, no one pays that much in taxes
Every time I hear Disney has lost millions of dollars, my dick gets hard
Ah yes. The movie that ruined the only two characters I cared about in the entire MCU. I hope everyone involved in that script gets run over by a bus.

I downloaded this movie just so I could watch Wanda's sons making eyes at her
