It was alright. You could dual wield rocket launchers and fire them in slow mo. Remember the story being convoluted but the ending xliffhanger was pretty compelling. Shame it never got a sequel.
The problem is the slo-mo is put on unnecessary part of combat so it feels like he prolonged the scene on purpose, better shoot like batman fight in BvS

Snyder has been directing video games without the gameplay for decades. It's kind of his thing. It's why I liked his movies when I eas a teenager. It's why he's appealing to young men in general. It's also why aside from teenagers his fanbase is mostly developmentally stunted slavs and pajeets.

Finally watched it last night, the worldbuilding was cool except for the classic "is the space future n shieet but we larp as 19th century peasants, civil war dudes or 40s noir detectives" I've seen before in science fiction.
