it was basically the only reason people saw black adam and it led to absolutely nothing because they fired cavill not even a month after the movie came out

And also the fact that they dropped the Rock like a hot potato, too

Black Adam talks to a hologram of Waller (?)
        She threatens him with Superman
The hologram machine blows up (?)
Superman appears in front of Black Adam (?)
        So…did they fight?

Superman, specially Snyder's Superman, doing the government business or just generally obeying fricking Amanda Waller of all people is just weird as frick.

For some reason Walter Hamada wanted everything to revolve around Suicide Squad.

Superman often collaborates with the government, including Waller, when necessary.

But Superman being distrustful of authority was a theme in MoS, and Superman trying to stay outside of politics - just involving himself with rescuing people throughout the world - to the point of coming to bite his ass was a theme in BvS.

Black Adam could easily become another zod, and super man with his zod PTSD would be grateful for the chance to talk it out rather than do another city busting fight with someone relatively strong as him

Literally the lamest thing ever. Superman does nothing, he just shows up in a post credits scene and says "we have to le talk", cut to black. It amounted to absolutely nothing. Rock and Cavil were both axed shortly after this movie came out which only added insult to injury. This scene has aged worse than a glass of milk sitting in a vehicle parked out in the Sierra desert for a month. It's humiliating for everyone involved. I'm not even sure who it's more embarrassing for, Cavil or the Rock. Rock marketed this movie as a rebooted phase 1 of DC and it completely bombed at the box office. And Cavil was given the go ahead to announce he's returning as Superman and said he was getting a sequel to man of steel. Just a train wreck of a film that damaged the careers of everyone involved.

someone should make a compilation of all the 'next time baby'/'the game is on' ending scenes and post-credit scenes that never went anywhere. You have sinestro is green lantern 2011, that same actor in the post-credits of shazam, the game begins at the end of dracula untold,

James Gunn is poison and DC hired him based on Marvel movies that contained his shittiness with Kevin Feige.
And I think Marvel is getting shittier because Feige isn't as involved or hands on as he use to be.

A team up against a power big bad like Darkseid
The JL struggled to beat Steppenwolf in both versions.
Having someone like Black Adam on their side is a big tilt to them being more prepared.
    But that won't happen now.
DC is going for some stupid alternate universe bullshit and stand alone movies.
