So what's Sony's endgame here?

So what's Sony's endgame here? Keep making shitty Spiderman-less spinoffs forever so they can keep the rights from Marvel?

They are retaining the legacy of based comic books movies from the aughts like daredevil 2004 and Catwoman, much more memorable than mcuslop

The SPUMM's endgame is, and always has been, the Sinister Six.

Who wants to see that shit with no Spiderman? Plus we basically got the Sinister Six in No Way Home and there's no way Sony can top that movie.

        >Who wants to see that shit with no Spiderman?

If Sony wanted could they still make a non Holland spiderman live action movie or introduce a new spiderman in cameos in these movies?
Since Marvel introduced the multiverse stuff to normies, there wouldn't be so much confusion on why there are two spidermans.
Does Sony want to retcon the sinister six into a bootleg version of the avengers? If yes, who could be their villain?

        >If Sony wanted could they still make a non Holland spiderman live action movie or introduce a new spiderman in cameos in these movies?
I'm pretty sure they're keeping Miles for themselves just for that. It would make too much sense, considering how the more favorably received versions of the character came from Insomniac's games and Spider-Verse films.
If I were them, I would've treated him the same way as Venom, Kraven and (let's be real) Black Cat: keep him for my own projects instead of sharing with Marvel. They can have Jessica Drew since they seem to be more into female character replaced the old male one anyway.

They want to bore us to death before giving us a terrible Sinister Six movie, where motivations of multiple characters directly conflict their development in most of the movies that came before it.

They already did, twice, it's called Spider-Verse.

So worse case scenario they kill off Spider-Man in the MCU.. Does Disney have full rights on Miles Morales? I think that's where they're headed. They saw the box office numbers from the Spider-Verse films and Tom Holland just had a massive breakup with Zendaya I feel like this upcoming Spider-Man film will be the last

        >Does Disney have full rights on Miles Morales?
It's all Sony. They even announced that they're working on live action film for him. Would be so funny to see when it will be announced as part of Venomverse.

That fricking sucks man. They're probably going to work a deal or some shit. Maybe Sony or Disney will either keep Miles or Spider-Man

I think that, at best, they own like 50/50 of Kingpin and Jessica Drew. Don't know the specifics though, especially in regards to Fisk. With Drew I think it's like "Marvel can have Drew by themselves for as long as she's not Spider-Women".
            >They're probably going to work a deal or some shit.
Already did, probably. Since they're working on fourth film and all. I know that Sony made many stupid decisions, but it just makes too much sense for them to keep Morales for themselves. Why share him with Marvel after you invested a lot into his popularity.
Which is fine by me since I don't care about him. If anything, I'm trying to look positively at this character gatekeeping nonsense. Because it could potentially lead to some great shit with lesser known Spidey characters. Say what you will about the Home trilogy with its overly strong attachment to Iron Man, but villains were solid.

This. I think Sony should keep Miles. Sony is too stubborn to just give the Spider-Man rights to Disney but at least just let Disney have free reign on Peter Parker Spider-Man. The box office tickets already show that zoomies love Miles

    I mean why wouldn't they.
Every single one has paid for itself (except Kraven as its not out). Even Morbius made its money back. Should be said Morbius was a lowcost production to begin with. However, the CGI was actually pretty good compared to other movies these days.
