Maester conspiracy bros ww@
it's such a bizarre conspiracy theory
I think the maesters have been plotting against the Targs since the very beginning.
maybe some maesters at some times, the same way many nobles and smallfolk have. but it's bizarre to assume they all have.
mostly the archmaesters and the citadel but no obviously every single maester in every single holdfast isn't aware of this centuries long plot
ok, name two archmaesters involved in the plot and the evidence as to why
Grand Maester Mellos tells the Black person maester trainee not to use the actual medicinal ointment and instead puts the kings hand in bugs
And? The maggot treatment is a real one.
Or would you trust a nog with your medical treatment?
It's hardly a conspiracy theory in the show canon given that they fricking show it happen on screen.
>show canon
also, no they don't, anon
The show literally confirms it though.
Also, how the frick does ravenry work? Is it magic?
Originally, it was. The ravens would speak the messages, instead of simply. carrying little rolled up slips of paper.
IMO, the whole raven thing in an anachronism
i always thought of it as individual ravens were trained on one route. so if you wanted to send a message to deepwood mott, youd send the deepwood mott bird. the maesters know how to train the crows to do this, probably by having them carted them back and forth. theyd have fully socialized the birds to human contact and settling in a rookery. So once they are set free, they fly away from the place they are cooped up in and naturally roost in the other really comfortable rookery that they have been to before
The Catholic church in renaissance era Italian politics is a decent comparison. There were parish priests that were just doing their jobs, but the bishops, and eventually pope, were men interested purely in the power and wealth the positions offered.
Maesters are a pillar of Westerosi society. It would stand to reason that they would have their own agenda within the game of thrones given how deeply entwined they are within the power structure of the Seven Kingdoms.
No, it was a series of unfortunate events.
Maester are based and targaryens are cringe as shit. Maesters clapped those targ cheeks until there was nothing left. And it's confirmed dany dies and jon goes into exile so their plan works in the end. Hightowers won
An omniscient wizard takes the throne though. For all we know he's immortal too. A literal God-king.
Cringe DnD ending
nah, God-King Bran is probably Georges plan.
He probably told the show runners to go with that since it's closer to his planned ending and his fans are still trying to blame the show for it
maybe, maybe not, but we'll never know because he is incapable of finishing the books.
I'm holding out hope for a December 2024 release
Viral infections can't be cured in themselves, you can only help the body fight them off. There was no concept of immune systems at that time.
Kneel and apologize. Humility goes a long way with one true king.
This coward, beggar king does not deserve the name Viserys.
Maesters did Summerhall
>her boyfriend randomly starts attacking her allies
>her first instinct is to help him with whatever he is doing
>she goes to stand beside him to protect him
>he just shoves her to the ground and escapes without her
Why did he do it?
TAOOBA
there should be a version of the what-of-good-solonius meme for this one
