Remember that episode where Peter gets a lawyer to sue his neighbour and it's a black lawyer and it turns out the lawyer is his neighbour and that character appears now in 'neighbourhood appears' type scenes? Gotta have that diversity while everybody cringes at Cleveland's new terrible voice. I mention this purely because of the random background characters added to pad the scene.
Every time I hear Cleveland's new voice I cringe. It's a high pitched bad impersonation of the original, which makes sense because they found the current VA by googling youtubers who do "Family Guy characters trolling Call of Duty lobbies". then picking the first black guy they saw. I am not joking.
Yeah I know, sadly. I remember I was speaking to my mother and it popped onto TV and even she in her old age went >That voice sounds wrong and bad, what happened?
And I explained and she just rolled her eyes and sighed. It's just so bad. Like he needs to improved and get better. It sounds like somebody doing an impression and that's just bad. Weird how it never goes the other way, can have non-whites voicing whites...
Off the top of my head, Samurai Jack is a big one. Believe it or not Patrick Warburton isn't actually handicapped. I never keep up with VA's so someone can correct me with a long list I can imagine.
This is what that anon said: "Weird how it never goes the other way, can have non-whites voicing whites..." I asked for examples. You gave me an example of a black man voicing a Japanese man, and a white man voicing a white man.

I'm just giving examples of voice actors not fitting their character's traits such as race or disability.

Yeah, I can do this too.

So you don’t actually have any examples of non whites voicing white characters but will continue to b***h about it as if you do so you can pretend you’re being oppressed. Got it,

That took long enough. Dug pretty hard, huh? Weird considering how you indicated that it seemed to be such a prevalent problem.
Not the guy, but the watcher in the Marvel What If.
It happens but like it's only a big deal because some people b***h about the opposite happening. Like b***h if I can't see the actor I don't care what color skin they've got. Give them a good voice.
Like frick I like the voice they got for the Watcher.

I agree that the race of a voice actor should not matter in either direction. My point is that the anon I was responding to was using it as a straw man argument to push a sort of “poor oppressed whit people” agenda, but as it turns out, it’s exceedingly rare that a non white person voices a white character while the same cannot be said for the reverse.
The only reason I’m pressing the point is because these sorts of “poor me” assumptions exist all over the place but fall apart as soon as proof is required. The fact that we’re in a place known for casual (to heavy) racism and yet people have such a hard time digging up examples of white characters played by non-white people speaks volumes. If it was pervasive, I’d have gotten a list by now. Twee could easily throw together a substantial list of non white characters played by white actors, though.

Devil's advocate, if there are tons you should be able to name them. Otherwise you sound like the people who b***h about Trump for doing "so many bad things" but are mysteriously unable to name any of them.

Ok, moron.
Wait what? I remember watching Azerz or whatever his name is years ago and he was great at Cleveland and Junior. Maybe he just has a shitty voice director?
He only reappeared once and then never showed up again after that. The actual new recurring black character is Peter's new boss that was made to replace the interracial couple for some reason.
>He only reappeared once
He appears in Lawyer Guy (first episode), Flaw & Disorder, Prescription Heroine, Legends Never Die, Christmas Crime, Happy New Years Guy and Karma's A b***h.
What the frick are you on about, moron? Stay off Mount Authority and go back into the moron Pits where you belong, moron.

Back to the pits you go, moron. These episodes are watchable right now and you can go and confirm it. Stop being wrong.
I'm not sure how going >No *sniff* u!
Works when you made a claim (which was wrong) and you can now check. Literally several sites list him in those episodes, including IMDB and you can look at the episode online, right now. Look, here he is in Prescription Heroine! Almost like, again, you're wrong. Is this a humiliation fetish or something, moron? Don't get it in the pits as often as you want?

Agreed. New voice is turrble.
To this day I seethe at the fact they fired him because it was "raycyst" to voice a black guy as a white guy. Hollywood is unbelievable

First of all, that character was funny. Secondly, Cleveland's new voice actor sounds identical.
Go get mad at Dr. Hibbert or something.
Well done, you won 'Wrongest Person On Cinemaphile' Award for 2024 already. Good job.
The best diversity move was making Peter make comments about how he wants to sex Donna and Roberta.
>Brian dates human women
>Everybody looks weirdly at Chris when he this
Speaking of Brian, if he's 7 years old, can he date minors?
he's 49 in dog years
We meet again furros
everyone is in the same pose
Family Guy characters only have like 8 poses
