Sunspot deserves the push. And getting some sort of South American representation in is good optics. Brazil is a massive market, they deserve the recognition.
You remember all those other attempts at creating cinematic universes after the MCU's success? And how many of them were just reboots of old movies, that Hollywood had decided in advance were clearly going to be big enough hits to justify all the planned sequels and spinoffs, but most of them just didn't do as well as they were meant to? If this is true, Marvel's doing it themselves now, building plans that require X-Men movies to somehow just be more successful than they've ever been before, rather than keeping going with the successful properties they already have.

Warpath requires a lot more pre established universe stuff to work. They'll probably adapt him in the future through something like Deadly Genesis but with him and Thunderbird instead of Vulcan.
