So many relentlessly handsome guys in this show.
>Welling
>Ackles
>Justin Hartley
Very good fap material indeed, hell, even Clark's dad was hot tbh
Amazing taste
They are 10/10 hot.
>Justin Hartley
I lost so much cum because of him, holy shit
He still looks great even today
yeah, crazy to believe he's nearly 50
He's definitely an Immortal. Not even Brad Pitt looks as good as Justin at 50.
Homo
It was good on the chick front, too.
ME FROM MYSELF
That was such a great show. We didn't know how good we had it.
No it wasn’t you rose colored glasses wearing zoomer. It’s literally 240 episodes of nothing ever happens and the acting was terrible.
>No it wasn’t you rose colored glasses wearing zoomer. It’s literally 240 episodes of nothing ever happens and the acting was terrible.
Are you fricking moronic? The first 5 seasons were mostly pure kino and the last 5 were half kino. Name a better modern show than Smallville.
It was awesome for the first two seasons then it degenerated starting season 3. I totally hated that clark-can't-fly-because-muh-relationships garbage.
>degenerated starting season 3.
What? Season 3 is the best season. 4 with the witches was the first major drop. 5 brought it back, but after Jonathan died it was downhill til the end.
> I totally hated that clark-can't-fly-because-muh-relationships garbage.
That wasn't the reason. It just never happened (mostly because Welling didn't want to put on the suit).
Jor-el told Clark that and Clark decided he would rather not fly than give up his friends.
That wasn't it. Jor-El said some "if you still think of yourself as a human you won't be able to fly". Which is nonsense. Clark always saw himself as a human. Smallville had lots of wonky writing. They had to come up with some shit because Clark was like 26, not flying and not wearing the suit.
>Welling didn't want to put on the suit
That's not the reason. They were sticking to what the show creators said at the start when asked how Smallville is different from previous Superman shows: the show will strictly be about before Clark became Superman. I remember one of them saying in an interview (before the first episode aired) that we'll never see Clark in the Superman costume.
>the show will strictly be about before Clark became Superman.
In that case the show should have ended at season 6. Having Clark be in his mid 20s, working at the Daily Planet, and dating Lois while NOT wearing the suit is ridiculous. Welling flat out said he would never put the suit on.
>saying in an interview (before the first episode aired) that we'll never see Clark in the Superman costume.
The creators were gone after season 7. The studio tried to get Welling into the suit. The show should have ended after season 7. There were still some good eps afteward but it reeked of "why isn't Clark in the suit yet?" And they did the "red blue blur" as a lame replacement.
Yes but there is about 5 full seasons of filler out of 10
If you skip enough episodes it's amazing
>filler
Some of the best eps weren't relevant to the over arcing plot.
>the journalists that work daily with Clark don't recognize him just because he wears glasses...
what a dumb idea, all the other superheroes wear a mask for a reason
I always wondered why newspapers and news shows cover only the eyes when they hide someone's identity.
Robin's "mask" covered only an inch around his eyes. It was just basically sunglasses. Did he glue them on his skin?
nobody ever cared about robin
Okay, that would explain why nobody knew him. But I'm more interested on how he kept his mask from falling off. Glue?
i cared about that boy if you know what i mean
>what a dumb idea, all the other superheroes wear a mask for a reason
homie people don't ever recognize Tony Hawk in public
Dolly Parton lost a Dolly Parton lookalike contest to a troony
Fricking Cavill himself wasn't recognized for weeks when he was going for coffee near the WB Studios to film until a fan spotted him
if you give a full body mask to a superhero he's not going to be recognized for months or years until a turbo autist pulls up a recognition program bullshit
You're moronic. People not recognizing Clark as Superman is more psychological. They can't believe that this mild mannered quiet guy (or bumbling guy depending on when) can be a fearless super hero.
>hey can't believe that this mild mannered quiet guy (or bumbling guy depending on when)
Even when larping as a pussy Clark is still a 6' 3'' gigaroided chad. I'm calling bullshit
He wasn't giga roided. Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain, and Welling are midgets compared to roid freaks like Thor and the Rock. Clark Kent was a tall, broad shouldered guy with muscles. And a business suit hides that (and a spandex costume makes it more obvious)
>Christopher Reeve
>midget
I said "midgets compared to" you fricking tard.
There's a lot of guys who look like that. In fact, every person has at least 5 "clones" on earth IRL with the same phenotype and everything, so it's not totally unfeasible. Bruce Wayne would be more suspect given Batman's resources.

>Bruce Wayne would be more suspect given Batman's resources.
This. And Superman never gets tired so he can fly around at night and be back at the Daily Planet at 8am. Bruce Wayne is out fighting crime and falling asleep at Wayne Tower at 11am.
Canonically, he changes his facial structure slightly in order to be able to blend in better.
When was the last time that happened? I also read that early on he had some mind power that could prevent people from recognizing him.
It's all nonsense. The best answer is that people can't believe it's him. There was a comic where Lex put all the info on Superman into a computer and asked the computer "Who is Superman" and when the computer spit out "Clark Kent" Lex got mad an threw the paper in the garbage.
No. Allison Mack ended up in a sex cult and prison. Not even Superman was able to save her and protect that smile.
How could she resist
I feel tired and I have a headache and my skin is warmer than usual and my throat is scratchy. Wat do. Is it the rona? Am I going to die?
It's amazing how much soul this show had. The new Superman show is le dark depressing garbage.
>NXIVM guy had 4 some with Chloe, Lois and Lana
Superman and Lois is not dark depressing at all. It's comfy kino.
>Superman and Lois is not dark depressing at all. Ok
>Lois has breast cancer
>previous Superman media was bright and colorful. This does the typical "suck out all the color" aesthetic
>Smallville the town is falling apart and residents are leaving
It's a drama show not a sitcom. They go through difficulties. All dramas do that. But they have happy comfy endings. It's only sad and depressing if a protagonist gets a tragic ending.
>It's a drama show not a sitcom. They go through difficulties.
So was Smallville and Lois and Clark. They were dramas but didn't have all this depressing dark bullshit. That's not Superman, that's' Batman. Lois cries every fricking episode in the new show.
lol I think something in your life is triggering you if you think those plot lines are depressing. Clark's dad dying in Smallville, that is sad and depressing. Clark's friendship with Lex unraveling, that is sad and depressing. Lex's brother dying, that is sad and depressing.
>lol I think something in your life is triggering you if you think those plot lines are depressing.
Nice projection, homosexual.
>Clark's dad dying in Smallville, that is sad and depressing.
I never said these shows don't have sad moments, but Lois is crying in practically every ep in Lois and Superman. The show looks fricking depressing. Smallville the town is now a financially rotting shit hole. This is not Superman.
>Clark's friendship with Lex unraveling, that is sad and depressing.
Not really. It was a good storyline, but not depressing.
>Lex's brother dying, that is sad and depressing.
You are taking a handful of moments over 10 seasons. Superman and Lois is le dark and sad every ep.
And the most sad and depressing was that episode where Whitney came back and we found out he died.
>And the most sad and depressing was that episode where Whitney came back and we found out he died.
I wasn't sad about that. Whitney was a shit character. I was more sad when Alicia died.
>Did he end up saving her?
Unironically yes. He saved Lana so he his dad could die in her place. This killed the show.
Was this the best version of Lex Luthor?
1. Hackman
2. Rosenbaum
3. Clancy (cartoons)
DCAU Lex remains best, but it's interesting that James Gunn conceded that Smallville had the best Lex on the actor's own show
>but it's interesting that James Gunn conceded that Smallville had the best Lex on the actor's own show
Of course he would say that. If he went on Rogan he would say "This is the best podcast and Fear Factor is the best reality show"
Yes. Rosenbaum is an excellent actor. If you see him out his role, he's a goofy nerd.
>her
that's a dude singing
>Kristin just crushes the wall
>Tom gained a few pounds
>Rosembaun just looks the same with hair.
Talkville is comfy, I didn’t realise Pike was in the show and almost got cast as Lex.
Tom looked good when he returned for Crisis. They're not bringing him back any time soon so he has no incentive to stay in top shape anymore.
The light hair doesn't suit her at all. And that's a bad pic. She look good overall in that Talkville ep
Why Rosembaun never did any other big tv series or movie?
>Why Rosembaun never did any other big tv series or movie?
He was in a show called Impastor which was actually pretty decent. But he's got no wife or kids, seems like he saved his money so he doesn't have to. On the podcast he talks about how he always saw acting as a job. He would only read his part of the script, show up when he had to, then leave.
But with his fame after Smallville I'm sure he could do more than that.
He does a lot of VA work for animated DC projects
I see so I think that basically he got enough money from Smallville and now he only does things like that to keep getting some money. It seems that he doesn't care too much about being in big projects anymore.
Basically, yeah, he's on cruise patrol. I can see myself doing a similar thing as an actor because the current state of the industry is drab anyway.
How much does having a semi-successful podcast pay? He seems to have sponsors and a million views for big name guests.
When you are hitting it big and the only movie roles you get are Urban Legend and Sorority Boys maybe sucking israelite wiener for bigger roles wasn't on his life plans.
Who was the best girl on the show?
Tough call.
100% Alicia. They rarely kill of characters on Smallville but she got so popular so fast they had to get rid of her in a brutal way.
It's a shame they did, I wonder though if we would have gotten sick of her if they kept her on though
They honestly couldn't keep her. Clark had to end up with Lois, which is really a shame because Alicia was a much, much better girlfriend.
This.
They also had to have her "betray" Clark in an out of character way very quickly. I would have loved for Alicia to last an entire season, then have them just break up naturally (or her just go fricking nuts in an organic way).
Imagine if Alicia and Clark was the season 4 arc instead of the shitshow with the Teagues and the stones of bullshit.
What a great team they would have made as long as Clark wasn't emo about her working with him.
>chickenbones for legs
She's just thin. I know that's becoming an increasingly foreign concept.
Rosenbaum's podcast is called Inside of You.
Why is that weird name?
Yes
Walmart has the complete series on DVD for 50 dollars. Is it worth it?
It's one of the few shows that I frequently rewatch, so in my opinion it is absolutely worth 50 bucks.
why does this look like she's about to f- him in the butt
Because you're projecting your fantasies?
Amy Adams was so cute in it.
