alright now that mommygay gave us a thread.... post chads
My god, Craig is such a fricking autist. He has 2 pairs of pajamas we've seen so far and both of them have prints of cars on them.
I imagine his parents take him shopping to buy clothes and it's like that scene where he was pointing at the food through the whole foods window with his mom, but it's him at Walmart or Ross Dress for Less or some shit cause the Tuckers are on welfare, and pointing at the clothes he wants. Hell, what if the reason he wears that little hat is because he likes feeling like the gay shounen speed Racer guys with helmets in the shows? He's so lucky he has the chad antisocial misogynist brand of autism or else he'd be such a loser.
His mom still loves him she just doesn’t fall for his shit as easily anymore.
So which one was the better special
Post Covid or The Streaming Wars?
better? the former
good? neither
Do we really want to use this thread instead of an episode related thread that is less likely to get purged?
it says south park in the title, people waking up will be able to find it easier
its not like the op ever matters does it i mean ffs people were comparing clit sizes last thread
Whatever. If mods purge us know that you guys deserve it for being fricking moronic and not using the bare minimum of intelligence to make stealth threads.
theyre back to not caring
Like I said, if you get purged you deserve it.
Pick one episode to best represent what South Park is.
that depends a lot on the era.
south park at its comfy era? maybe something like chef goes nanners or cripple fight.
south park rn? this. this special.
>cripple fight
Stop being a biased homosexual for once
Super early South Park: Cartman's Mom is a Dirty bawd
Early (or golden era) South Park: LOTR episode
Post-Golden Era: With Apologies to Jesse Jackson
Declining Era: The Cissy
Current, modern era: Band in China
whats wrong with cripple fight? its a great and funny episode, not to mention this was back in the day where M&T believed in true liberty, not the homosexual Hollywood shit they meme these days.
>Anon most likely once again sent into a blind rage at any mention of cripples regardless of context
Even when South Park did celebshit before they made it crazy and entertaining
It's a good episode but it's definitely far from being the most representative episode of South Park from that era, you just picked it because moronic kids gives you a boner.
it has a fun focus on old beloved characters, great new ones, a solid B plot, plenty of physical comedy and a message that's the epitome of Matt and Trey's oldschool liberalism.
That's your very own subjective opinion dude, very few people think of that episode whenever someone mentions early South Park.
*think of that episode first
didnt anon ask for our opinions? isnt that why were here? i just dont see why you're so assmad about it.
I just pointed out that you gave a very biased answer to a factual question like usual.
biased how? and how is every question ITT not a subjective one? Anon asked what we thought and I told him.
>expecting cripplefricker to not be obnoxious
Stanley's Cup
Mecha-Streisand
Refute it
That was my first pick too actually.
Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants.
The one were they play cops
what do you guys think will happen next season? place your bets
More (Tegridy) Randy
More Butters
Token and his boring ass family will keep being relevant
More Yates
Stan and Cartman will keep being the only main 4 characters that matter
More nagging Liane
More of Butters parents being horrible people
Little to no focus on everyone else
...i dont know why i ask, i guess i expected something more uplifting but i probably shouldnt have, this is as realistic as it gets
>More nagging Liane
I know that alot of you guys said that Trey still doing the bawd joke would seem pathetic and encite groans from a lot of people, but c'mon, do you seriously think nagging single mom Liane is better? At least prostitute Liane gave us moments like these
I'm pretty sure most people ITT prefer degenerate prostitute Liane over her current nagging form.
Why not make her a nagging degenerate prostitute?
Liane being a sweet, soft-spoken kinky bawd is funnier and more creative than her being a nagging prostitute.
>more tegridy
god, I hate that you're right. Tegridy is so fricking tedious.
Kyle and Cartman kiss and it's disgusting.
In the next season, I want Liane to punish Cartman for landing them in a hot dog by raping him. That's what should've happened in HumanCentIpad. Instead if having him get struck by lightning, he should've gotten raped by his mom;
>A fuming Liane walks up to Eric, who was still angry about losing his Ipad, and says "Well Eric, since you've already made me look like a child molestor, let's see how you like it when I actually frick you" and then proceeds to drag Cartman inside the car, lock all the doors and roll up all the windows, and frick him senseless as punishment.
I liked Fractured But Whole
>BLU was Trey's standard for a South Park movie back in the day
oh god....what happened
Peak South Park intro
Wew this was far better than the other version
what other version
the official intro of seasons 4-5
god its been a while since i heard the south park intro in its full glory
>this intro isn’t seen within the HBO Max versions of South Park
Why not?? This is one of the best intros they made. I thought I was crazy that this didn’t exist and I was just dreaming it did. I’m actually disappointed they didn’t use this banjo theme for their cutout intro in later seasons
>we’ll never get South Park kino like this again
Am I the only one who dislikes the instrumental of the current intro?
The metal/rock instrumental? I’ve practically stopped watching the series once that became the standard theme
This would’ve been the perfect intro
WATCH OUT

now explain yourself
None of the episodes should be canon not even the video game and should take creative liberties with the characters, as such Timmy should speak gaelic and have an irish accent and get pissed off when people confused it for a scottish accent. Tell me where else in the world will you find a concentration of redheads as high as Ireland and Scotland?
ginge timmy confirmed
All the cripples are suddenly able bodied.
pls dont do that
pls do that and now suddenly Jimmy dies every 3 minutes and Kenny is a comedian who speaks in a British accent.
thats actually an interesting take, id love to see a bizarro SP

Tweek in Fourth Grade:
>I can't take it, man! Writing in cursive? Fractions? I can't do it!
Is this the reason why he's no longer in their class? Was he moved to special ed?
>I can't take it, man! Writing in cursive? Fractions? I can't do it!
When did he say that?
When they start fourth grade
Why the frick do they even have children practice handwriting a specific way when as adults they'll just write however the frick they want to?
I wish this was just a US thing but it's not, it's a UK thing too. I actually got in trouble for deciding "nah frick cursive" and skipped it. After that, i intentionally forgot how to write cursive.
its an everywhere thing, i live in a country where english isnt our first language and our language still has a version of "childrens writing" which is essentially simplified computer text, and "adult handwriting", except most adults know and use the latter
I don't understand what's so hard about cursive
In-Universe answer: He was probably moved to another ordinary class for an unknown reason.
We know how the special ed students look like and Tweek's new classmates look like ordinary kids. Plus Jimmy and Timmy are still in the main class.
Meta answer: They removed Tweek from the main classroom because he's a pain in the ass to animate.
But Jimmy and Timmy are geniuses, they don't need special ed
>[headcanon]
Jimmy is a full on autist, and the genius Timmy thing is partially just TFBW/gags and partially M&Ts sudden fear of portraying a mentally handicapped kid as a mentally hamdicapped kid
i mean he always had a cheeky and calculating side but at some point they just turned him into a crippled xman character with an odd speech quirk
>Jimmy
>autist
No that's Craig
do i need to pull out the chart again? every character who regularly wears a yellow shirt is some kinda tard
Who wears a yellow shirt other than Jimmy, anyway?
Thy both are but in different ways
Jimmy is just CP, that doesn't affect your intelligence
Is that what Walter Jr has?
Yes
im sure he did CP before but i dont think its fair to minimize him just to that, hes more than a slab of meat yknow
>he's a pain in the ass to animate.
Bullshit, that's easily loopable and you can recycle a shit ton of of animation with him. They kicked him out because he was a boring character, they were trying for a Kenny replacement even Jimmy at one point till they decided to settle for Butters and then eventually kicked Butters out as well.
Except he was still in the main class during the time when they were experimenting with the 4th friend role, Tweek was removed from there relatively recently.
Wait, who are Tweeks new classmates? Do we see any scenes with his classroom/a different classroom?
We haven't seen a different class OR the special ed classes since Tweek's moved I think.
We can see them for a few seconds in The Cold War episode, when everyone in school is losing their shit.
They were just running in the halls though I thought, like with everyone else.
Their class doesn't really make any sense, they've had those specific students for a while now but sometimes they have random kids you've never seen there before, like Scott Malkinson in that diabetes episode. I know it's not serious but it's kind of my pet peeve, they could show other classes once in a while too.
Trey is kinda like Kishimoto and Pokemon's anime series (and most commercial animes) relatively consistent to a fault but also feels like an undeveloped series that is trying to fit its roots at a snail's pace. Every so often they introduce these new characters and gimmicks but either nobody cares about them because the idea is trash or they weren't focused on enough. He manages to introduce some decent characters like Jimmy and Nathan and gives them decent exposure, but then also introduces crappy characters like Tweek and Scott which nobody cares about and also doesn't treat the latter very well. It's his sometimes bad sometimes decent ideas in combination with the incredibly snail paced changes he creates that makes South Park feel so mediocre and unsatisfying like it's missing something. The latter seasons introduced a lot of characters I really did not give a frick about like Tegridy Randy or which Trey left hanging in the wind like Leslie after her job was done, at least he killed off Leslie unlike PC Principal which was also left hanging in the wind like a bad headache nobody wanted.
What the frick happened to the diabetes girl Scott was lusting over?
>Tweek
>Scott
>crappy
>but then also introduces crappy characters like Tweek and Scott which nobody cares
Stop being delusional for once Stendycuck
What is Liane's problem?
Whoah is that older female Clyde? jk jk ... but what if it is?
Reminder that Cartman was onto something.
Token is just the red herring, the real person who wants to frick his mom is none other than Clyde and Clyde's dad.
How cold can Colorado get?
It's not that it's cold it's that the temperature changes rapidly. Once it went from 70 to below zero within three hours and I only lived in Denver not up in the mountains.
>Paramount+ commercials come on
>Not even a single mention of South Park
KEK even the suits know at this point
If he's a PC bro, why does he use Apple computers?
Social commentary about the kind of people who are loyal to the Apple brand, but also irony.
>You PC bro?
>No I'm Xbox
Just once I'd like them to make this joke.
you should screenshot this because it wouldn't be the first time trey steals a joke from these threads, or the second
>You PC bro?
>No I'm Xbox, she's Switch, he's PS5, she's Wii and her little sister is Wii U.
The only good ship is Canon Kyle x Fanon Kyle
But I thought only fanon Kyle was gay?
Canon Kyle is straight but he will still frick his anime self because that b***h might as well be a girl at this point
>painted nails
cute-ish artstyle for a western fanart, too bad it's so stereotypical
It looks cute to me, you can go cry about it I guess.
found the fujoschizo.
painted nails are kino
What if Kyle fricked Wendy?
Stan and Cartman would both be cucked
The irony is that I'm not sure who would cuck who in that scenario.
I think it would be somewhat interesting if coupled with a good plot (like the egg episode, that was way better written than The List episode).
There's a bunch of low-hanging fruit Trey never went for like the bizarro world where Chef is white and skinny.
Another low-hanging Fruit Trey went but not exactly how most cartoon shows go is making Wendy a prostitute who fricks Stan's rival, mainly because Stan never had a long-lasting rival. The CATG are only treated as rivals for like ... 1 scene in 7 episodes at most? and not even true rivals, they're never the focus of it, it's never the story. Scott Tennorman, the 6th graders and Trent Boyett were treated much more as the focal enemies of an episode where Trey centers the whole plot around them.
>Another low-hanging Fruit Trey went but not exactly how most cartoon shows go is making Wendy a prostitute who fricks Stan's rival, mainly because Stan never had a long-lasting rival.
Pretty sure the main reason is because at the end of the day, they're still kids.
All sorts of shows had the "Main girl who the MC lusts after, but the local chad bully thunderwiener steals her or she finds another pretty boy to lust over" albeit the characters in those were 10-14, not 8. And again you know the difference? every time those shows had a resolution. South Park always leaves Wendy/Stan hanging unresolved, even in the egg episode, it's more about StanXKyle and Wendy just gets forgotten by the side despite Stan thinking Kyle was dating her. They pretty much dropped that plot point when Garrison switched the team members around.
I like the fact it doesn't emulate those cliches, it makes it more refreshing, but at the same time I don't like it when everything is left hanging in the air(like most comedy shows) and it's absolutely clear that Trey was a homosexual for Matt/Kyle.
I like it the most when it's aware of the cliche and does something interesting with it you either don't expect or it's an entirely different execution unlike any other show.
Right after S17 started, S15 and S16 were still packing some alright episodes, maybe even S17.
For me it was the Ginger Cow episode when shit was really starting to stink in a very obvious way.
My main problem is that South Park does emulate those cliches, but in a very unfinished way. It's like Trey goes "nah not doing that anymore, I got bored of it, let's change the focus to something else"
I want Kyle and Cartman to hate each other forever and ever
Alright guys start making your own main cast.
>Stan
>Jimmy
>Kenny
>Clyde
Oh wow anon that’s shit.
I took it off Google at random and it's actually not that bad. Could have replaced Jimmy with Scott Malkinson and Stan with Token to make it even worse.
I would keep main 4's MC status except Kenny is actually relevant
>Major characters
Early seasons Garrison
Chef
Jimbo and Ned
Butters
Wendy
CATG
Liane
Mackey
>Important secondary characters
Kyle's family
Randy
Timmy
Tweek
Kenny's family
Bebe and Red
Officer Barbrady
The Mayor
Towelie
I really miss Jimbo and Ned. What episodes even contained them? I remember this one triple plot episode with them in vietnam and the main4+jimbo go on the jesus show... I can't remember what season and episode it was.
Most of the Jimbo&Ned-centred episodes come from the first three seasons.
Oh yeah, I should add Mr. Slave and Big Gay Al in the second category too.
Which SP character would be which DQ class?
Uh, just look at the Stick of Truth classes? It's obvious.
>Stan: Hero
>Kyle: Sage
>Cartman: Wizard
>Kenny: Goof-off
Stan is fighter
In D&D terms, in DQ he'd be soldier, he's a melee fighter who can't cast any spells.
>Cartman constantly insists that Kyle would be better suited as a Merchant
That's his dad.
Let's talk about Kyle's vegana, does he also have ovaries and a womb?
Presumably, those usually come together but I suppose there's no way to confirm or deny
>does he also have ovaries and a womb?
I wish we would have gotten the equivalent of pic related while Kylegay was still alive but with Kyle shitting out 42 of Cartman ass babies. I think it would have killed him on the spot
Probably, considering he acts like he's on his period every few episodes.
Maybe anon was on to something with his mpreg Kyle dream
When did you stop enjoying South Park?
Pic related for me
bot?
This episode and Ginger Cow weren’t even that bad and I say that as a moderate kylegay. Of course I was a big Happy Tree Friends fan back in the day so characters I like suffering doesn’t bother me.
Why do Stan and Kyle still pretend to be straight?
Not every instance of male comradery is a disguise for romantic attraction, maam
wow we have a stylegay?
Tell me, do you have a life?
Yes. I appear completely normal at work and around friends then come here to be my true self.
>Implying you're your true self on Cinemaphile
C'mon guys, you're just trolling for the lulz, you're just doing it for the bants. You're not actually this insane right?
Your very best friend could be a Cinemaphile schizo and you'd never know
Moo!
We are never escaping Cowshit are we
good morning to Treygay and his lovely wife who must be suffering his first day of punishment today for what he has created
and good night to my beautiful little man, im gonna treat him so well tonight
I’ve come to realize Craig/Kyle is just a substitute kyman for fujos that either are too pussy or don’t want to frick fat guys.
Craig/Kyle is for fujos that self-insert in order to frick one of them. It explains why it has so much high quality fanart despite being a literally crack pairing.
Will Randy actually stop being a farmer or were they just fricking with us?
I want to see Randy get gangraped
the best case scenario, which is still pretty unlikely, is he'll go back to normal but they'll have him smoke weed sometimes and go full tegridy
Trey is gay
And the water is wet
This is how he dressed the character based on himself.
Kyle was so ugly in those clothes
Why was metro Craig so loose?
Also I found a mattxtrey fanfiction based during 9/11, in case anybody wanted to know.
...sauce?
I am so glad you asked
https://denofiniquity.livejournal.com/57129.html
I also loved "Much too late to find", it's right there if you scroll down.
Sorry for RPF autism, I normally hate it too myself.
Global Warming is Randy fault
Guys, what if Trey genetically modified Matt to be a cum cow and kept him as his pet so he could suck him off and drink his cum whenever he wanted?
Hemp Hat
Craig's twin brother
I really like Cartman going through puberty and sexually harassing Kyle. Not full molestation or rape or overpowering him but minor sexual harassment.
They should make it a recurring gag that Cartman always finds way to undress Kyle similarly to this
Garrison will be irrelevant again just like in seasons 13-18
Can Randy go back at being semi-irrelevant too?
I think Scott Malkinson is part of their class permanently now because he was there in Pajama Day. Not that it matters since the show rarely has focus on school or the kids anymore.
I think they wanted to make Scott more relevant but since his character got so little reception (he literally lost to Clyde in the last official popularity poll), he resorted back to being a minor character. That's a shame dbh, I like Scott and I would much prefer to see more of him than characters like Yates or Butters parents for example.
How do you feel about the fact that SP has more westaboo fanart than almost any other Cinemaphile IP?
>South Park is Japan’s introduction to everyday American life the way SoL anime is to Weebs
Kind of hilarious actually
That's actually true as hell, at least from what I've seen from the Japanese SP fans I've met online.
Kinda different, but my Latvian friend loves south park and they're really onto the whole hick/redneck trailer park energy if that makes sense. Like, Kenny's family. They said the joke from quintuplets about kenny being normal in Russia and the Slavic countries because they're all poor and trashy was funny.
Theyre also a westaboo in a sense,, and told me their favorite episodes are (I forgot some of the names sorry):
>losing edge (the one where the boys play baseball and try to lose) (they said because they like seeing "american" stuff like baseball and the kids being shitty. Also they hate modern randy too dw)
>quintuplets 4000
>the one where kenny tries to stop his mom from getting pregnant
>tweek x craig but only because we like pausing and zooming in on the shitty fanart to use for memes and inside jokes
>Toms Rhinoplasty
>You're getting old
>BLU
It didn't help at all when they'd ask about shit like "but that doesn't actually happen in America right?" And I'd have to be like "no. I mean it happened to me but it's not supposed to be normal." "No, there's only been 3 shootings this year at my local school, that stuff doesn't really happen all the time" and I've been accidentally feeding their westaboo fantasies.
Interesting. I've always wanted to know about the japanese fandom but I don't speak the language, I can't draw concrete conclusions from their fanart only and South Park's 5ch thread is pretty inactive.
Do they hate Randy for the same reasons as us? Are they okay with the their depiction in the show? Who are their favorite characters exactly?
Idk. I'm curious about the exact same things though. Unfortunately the only foreign south park fans I'm close with are all either Latvian, Russian, Italian, or American.
>adult cartoon show with raunchy humor and a simplistic/cheap artstyle is more popular than "anime-influenced" shows like Teen Titans, ATLA and Steven Universe in Nipland
based
>ATLA
Japanese have no interest in it because of Fire Nation = Imperial Japan.
Is that really the only reason ATLA didn't catch on in Japan?
Supposedly it’s the main reason but who knows. All we know is that there is near zero westaboo art of the show and Japan seems largely uninterested in it
>Avatar
Stan- Waterbender
Kyle- Firebender
Cartman- Nonbender
Kenny- Avatar
Stan is Airbender
yeah frick you guys stan's an airbender
well if stanbro says it i believe it
misread avatar that as "intruder" and now I can't stop thinking about pic related in SP style
Token - Waterbender
Clyde - Earthbender
Craig - Firebender
Tweek - Airbender
Jimmy - Nonbender
japanese people go nuts for cute visuals contrasted to raunchy writing
This explains why Happy Tree Friends and Powerpuff Girls were the other two most popular western cartoons over there (well PPG wasn't raunchy but it still was pretty edgy for a kids cartoon)
Japan always had other standards than the west, things like sex and violence and innuendos can go a lot more out there before theyre no longer for kids, so they like stuff thats not so coddling
Still, I heard that Panty and Stocking flopped there despite being very similar to South Park in terms of humor. I wonder why nips didn't like it.
not enough cute characters to latch onto
Stocking was a huge waifu bait tho.
I dont think it flopped, just wasnt a banger, i guess because it's local and not done the same
Asians are autistic and always latch onto good humour, just like the germans, britbongs, french .. except for the italians who aren't that bad with the humour to suck American wiener.
Panty and Stocking is nothing like South Park. I tell everyone "you sad pathetic frick" whenever somebody suggests me anime which isn't shounen or detective. Those bugmen are incapable of writing humour. Try putting a japanese in charge of writing Dan Vs, an equally dialogue-based show with poor animation without any slang which in theory IN THEORY it should be doable for a Jap guy, but nope they can't. Autists cannot into humour.
The only time I saw good humour of Japcucks was in video games, specifically Devil May Cry 3 and 5 and that's mostly because of the American team who even did the body language. Japanese cannot into body language humour, a lot of the body language you find in Europe and America is lost on those autistic fricks who can't understand obvious body expression, let alone subtle ones. It's also the problem with the fact Jap cartoons refuse to be animated at 24 frames and also the fact their language sucks dick and you can't work with it for humour, you'll always sound like Teen Titans' Starfire when you try to tell a joke through any asian-based language. Japs are too autistic for humour, just like the germans .. meanwhile the frogs and the bongs' humour is so pathetic they laugh at anything, just like the Japs. Japs are a mixture of germans and frogs/bongs in terms of humour, both too serious and too pathetic, Japs are bipolar.
Dante dancing like Michael Jackson out of nowhere isn't funny.
Or maybe, and hear me out here, MAYBE humor is primarily cultural and so japanese people can write humor that makes THEM laugh, but not you, because you're not japanese and therefore do not get their jokes. The only reasons american humor is so easily exportable is because it's watered down to appeal to a larger audience and also you shove your culture down everyone else's throats so people will be aware of it even if they don't want to.
if you're italian you're severely mentally ill tell me one good comedy they have done in the past 20 years aside from boris you literally can't
>Happy Tree Friends
HTF had the bonus of being completely dialogue free so no translate was required.
Forgot about flippflaky
Wow, that was my jam back in the day.
Not suprised, the SP and HTF fandoms were extremely intertwined back in the day on DA and Pixiv.
Ah, the good ol' days... I miss them so much.
Zoomers in this thread will never know.
True dat
Hazbin Hotel Pilot was a hit with the twitter japanese fanartist community for the same reasons.
How possible is south park to be in multiversus? South park is partially owned by HBO mind you
how would the boys interact with other multiversus or universal characters
Randy is in that Rescue Rangers movie
Guess semi possible at this point the show is being an ip prostitute
I bet they are going to make the FBW and SOT costumes legendary tier, I hate multiversus since its a shitty cash grab but south park being in might actually drag me.
Also if we are doing classes

Wait what?! I thought Disney owned the full rights now. Who even is funding South Park anymore?
>Who is even funding south park anymore?
Isis
What the frick happened to South Park threads and why are they full of people obsessing over cripples and Liane?
How much would it cost to hire a studio to do South Park's cheap as frick animation? I imagine at this point even an AI could wiggle those digital puppets around and set the correct lip syncing.
depends if you can convince Trey to do it, he still needs to feel involved even if the sovl is gone
I mean an AI could write the humor too but Trey doesnt even let PEOPL suggest things to him
Trey sounds exceptionally Japanese.
He was majoring in japanese after all
Not the same target audience
I mean this refusal of letting go of the IP to let somebody else handle it is what you expect out of the Japanese IPs. The only 50/50 good thing about them ... is they never sell their IPs to companies. So most stuff is always owned by the original creator which is a good thing as SP didn't go neo Simpsons till season 17 and unfortunately as you've seen it can turn into a bad thing when the original creator goes bad (or was never good to begin with in Kishimoto's and Butch Hartman's case).
At this point said fanbases especially the Japs would love to see a different execution and a different feel from somebody else .. maybe even a different direction entirely. Of course as long as it's good. Nobody wants to watch tepid garbage spanned over 5 different series(Ben 10 cough) "Oh it's Tom & Jerry but it's not funny" and most fanbases b***h hard when the direction changes "Oh it's Batman but it's a comedy show now"
I do not think creators should ever let go of their IP, it corrupts the show. Either they end it on their own terms or keep going, as long as it's still the creators having full creative control, then they can do whatever the frick they want even if I end up hating it. Frick you if you want IPs to change creators.
So you don't agree Greg Weisman's take on Spiderman was good? Yeah, see ... the problem with these corporate buttholes is that ... they always but always refuse to hire quality people, which makes no fricking sense. Dreamworks' TV Shows, the idiots always hired the worst possible writers and directors to handle their shows and made it feel worse than most average cartoon shows, let alone ever hoping to hold a candle to the original movie.
I'd like to see South Park handled per season by different quality directors. Mao Mao, Dan Vs, Venture Bros, early Futurama, early Boondocks, the list goes on.
I however would not like to see South Park handled by Red Vs Blue and Camp Camp's writers, as cutesy and comfy as they were their episodes were garbage 5/10s that make even the South Park specials feel more eventful.
Max stop typing, your posts are giving me a headache.
I don't follow Spider-Man, but I'm not against other writers doing their own takes of the same universe, it just should be its own separate thing, and not take the original work away from its creator, because a show is merely an extension of the creative vision of the person who made it, so the moment you take that away, the show is dead no matter what.
With how cheap SP is to produce they could run a bunch of shows at the same time so you don't have to wait for one to finish in order to get the other. Too bad those days of Sonic SatAm and Adventures of Sonic competing with each other are over.
>the creative vision of the original creator
It is dead indeed, you'll never get the same exact atmosphere and type of writing unless the one in charge autistically copies the creator line by line and mentality, as such very subtle things like putting Token to hang out with Stan wouldn't be thought of in a million years as just Trey subtly self inserting to make Matt jealous, neither Cartman having a israelite family as Trey self inserting, unless you studied Trey exceptionally hard.
I still would like to see Justin Roiland's take on South Park while Trey can go keep his tegridy show.
>unless the one in charge autistically copies the creator line by line and mentality
It would still be lost and dead, nothing but a cheap copy, a continuous asking "what would Trey do?". You saw how that worked out for season 4 of Community.
But yeah, letting others do their take on the characters would be cool, kind of like how Adventure Time had guest directors for certain episodes.
i feel like thats partially what south park is nowadays, they ask themselves "what would south park do?" and they go off of how people who barely understood south park viewed it, because they no longer remember the original intent
yknow how when you draw a line over and over it gets more wobbly? or when you first draw a character and really think it thru, but trying to copy your own drawing, especially after months of drawing said character and having them devolve into a collection of simplistic motions, attempting to emulate that first drawing again is a mess
You see old south park and new south park as different properties, but there is no original intent, because the creator is still the same so no matter what they do, that is their intent. And what comes out of that may change drastically, but as long as it's the same creator, it's still their intent. A show's identity is linked to the person that made it so it can never be authentic if its source changes. And don't get me wrong, the original creator might still lose their original vision and start copying themselves, they may start to make a worse product overall or lose their original passion or any other thing that results in a change, but what I'm saying is that I don't care because each show has a sort of internal voice that reflects the creator and how they change. It's almost like... an autobiography, even when it's not trying to be one, it records and fictionalizes the thought process that lead the creator to make certain choices, so it'll be like a diary, with good and bad pages, but still written by the same person.
And since to me a show should be more art than product, I don't like the idea of it changing hands with the intent of "making it good", just like I don't think any random artist could've painted the monalisa, even if their end result was near identical. Let art be bad but reflect the creator's intent, don't be selfish.
if theres no original intent, theres no creation. Trey didnt fart and SP appeared, he made it
Yes, and he's still making it, that's his intent even if no one else likes it
but he lost much of the original intent.
you can argue that part of the original intent was just "to make SP", but thats not all there is to it, youre speaking like someone who eill eat whatever shits on their plate and say thank you as long as the right man hands it to you
>youre speaking like someone who eill eat whatever shits on their plate and say thank you as long as the right man hands it to you
Au contraire, I'm leaving out quality of the work entirely in this discussion, I'm just saying a creation (art) is only true to itself as long as it's still being made by the original person, and no matter how closely you could replicate it, you would not put the same voice inside of it.
Think of the diary analogy, as a person I can write whatever the frick I want, and it'll still have my voice. If someone else took my diary and started doing their own thing or transcribing my past words, it still would not be me, it would be empty corporate work. Stop viewing shows like products that could be made by monkeys and typewriters under the right circumstances.
I wouldn't say "product" but you have the right idea, that's why other stuff created by Trey still has "south park vibe" according to most people. Not because it's anything like south park, but because it has the same voice, Trey, behind it.
Creators intrinsically bring something unique to their work that cannot be replicated, and this has nothing to do with the quality of the final result.
no anon, a show is art, but art CAN be taken over
and while i think some shows are outliers, like south park, i also think the original creator can lose their vision and merit if theyre no longer making it their own
would you not say that opening your diary every day just to attempt to come up with something that resembles what you wrote before, automatically and without thought, is at least somewhat lesser than writing from the heart?
No no you see Trey's brain is the product. Everything even the non South Park products still feel like Trey. If you want that specific feel then you follow the person , not the product.
Just like now I'm following Solar Opposites more closely for that same Rick & Morty season 1 feel because what Dan Harmon offered by was a pathetic depressing Jerry and Morty and "muhh relationshits" which Justin Roiland gives no fricks about. In Solar Opposites there is no Morty/Jerry character, no annoying secondary family characters who waste time, that's all on Dan Harmon if you want more of that.
Weisman turned out to be a HUGE fricking hack and all of the corporate meddling NECESSARY when he was given free reign on the Young Justice revival and he turned it into pure woke garbage and started shitting on people who complained about the piss poor quality, claiming "this is the real me unchained!" as far as it retroactively justifying EVERY time Greg had his work messed with by executives given the fact that Greg showed himself a hack who was never good to begin with and that Gargoyles was carried by the voice acting and network executives tard wrangling Greg.
South Park uses Maya so you can try animating it yourself
wtf is this episode i dont remember tweek jimmy and timmy ever being in the same scene together
The one where they send a killer whale to the Moon
>has constant tics and screams
>can’t talk
>stutters
these three need to hang out more i wanna see the adventures of the spazz pack
>people calling Cartman mom a nagger
Are you all moronic? Or just cartman fanboys?
Her balls finally dropped and she is no longer giving in to her hellspawn and his schemes
Post art of Cartman blackmailing or harassing Kyle.
Realistic art where they look like actual kids makes me uncomfortable.
What?
oh great is it bait hours already
whats the joke anyway? and why do we care what some jour*nalist has to say
Why isn't anyone killing these damn drama-baiting journalists? They should be scared to post bait, not be arrogant about it.
Cartman getting breasts is the transphobic thing?
Stop defending mutilation
Oh my fricking God it wasn't transphobic, I'm a troony and that was the best part of the special.
If anything, complain about the Karen jokes. I hate article writers.
The article meant they didn’t continue the joke from part 1 ”they do this to kids now”, because apparently schizos thought that was about trannies when it was obviously about cosmetic surgeries on kids in general. Also not sure how they would have continued such a joke when it was just one line.
Streaming Wars Part 2 was probably the laziest I've ever seen South Park be. They took like six or seven mediocre jokes and stretched them over 50 minutes.
are you kidding me? 6 or 7 jokes is generous, but its still more than what theyre capable of these last few seasons
this is a mess
I will never understand why they wasted a special on such a mediocre plot, they could have easily made an episode only of it.
I wonder what a show written only by Matt Stone would be like ... is Matt even capable of writing or he's too moronic for that?
funny, probably
Probably like what the latest Batman TAS special with Harley felt. A lot of "style" and no brains or in Matt's case a lot of fart, poop, raunchy humour without any connecting story and barely a semblance of a plot. I'm hoping Matt would be capable of at least doing an episode that feels like 6 mini episodes because he can't tie a plot together worth a shit, but realistically I think he'd fail even at that because he never wrote properly in his life.
id much rather get good if incohrenet comedy out of my comedy show than a "plot" thats comedically dry, esp since Trey seems to struggle with his writing skills recently
Does anyone have the art of Cartman filming Kyle in a bathroom stall while he's dressed like a cheerleader? I need it for a friend.
maybe the weed DID fry Trey's brain... maybe be was right when he warned us that it makes you lazy and content with mediocrity, and not all creative like hippies insist
Holy fricking shit have you girls watched Solar Opposites? God it's so good. So so so so good.
holy shit stop shilling that show here you annoying homosexual
No, go watch it. It's a fresh breath of air. Also go watch Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe.
Anon I'm a fellow solar opposites enjoyer but don't be annoying about it, come on.
Yes I'm watching it right now actually. Really good so far, why do you ask in a south park thread?
So basically as bad as this sounds ... I used Trey's Streaming Wars Part 2 is an appetizer to lower my standards so I can enjoy Solar Opposite seasons 3 all the better.
Yeah, me too. I'm taking my time with solar opposites right now because its quality is so high, I don't want to run out too fast. Do you happen to be the anon from the other thread that likes R&M s3?
No, I prefer ranking S1 as above S2&S3 and those above S4&S5. I'm the anon who smiled and shed a tear at SO's ep4&6's endings.
That's still a good ranking, nice choice. We can all agree S4 and 5 suck ass, that's for sure.
I see... I haven't gotten to those episodes yet. I'm already emotional enough just from the start, I feel like they really figured out the emotional core of the show and the season is thriving for it. I think in season 2 they were still experimenting with what they could get away with, what worked, what felt too mean, what felt out of place, and I feel like they got that now, so far. Will definitely let you know how I feel about those episodes too once I reach them.
Because Max is a schizo and he can't stop randomly name dropping various cartoon shows.
Which characters do you want see raped this way, anons?
i hate the gay that just posts an unrelated video like 5 times a thread
You're a gay.
wanna kiss homo?
Do you think they will ever come with an explanation (like they did with Kenny being immortal) as to why the time in South Park is frozen despite the technological and socio-political progress? Or they will let it be just 'a cartoon thing' like The Simpsons do?
i wonder which idea would be better, personally i think some things dont need to be addressed in fiction, but were way past that stage
I think it's a cool idea to use in the last episodes but dunno if M&T would be able to execute it well.
Max come make out with me you little gayoid
I told you Cripplefricker I'd rather go asexual than go gay. I'm a perfectionist and I will mentally frick the 2 redheads in this thread. Accept no substitutes. (wait, did I ever tell you this?)
Max which hair colours are your favourite and which are your least favourite?
Blonde=red>brown>black>teal
Golden blonde>strawberry blonde>amber>bleach blonde>auburn>dyed red>brown>black hair>teal
bunny > kyman > stendy > creek > stolkien
Say one nice thing about Kyle B
He has a cute cousin
His cum tastes great.
He’s a b***h but in terms of looks he’s the sexiest character in the show. You have no idea what I’d do to that Ginger israelite anon and you don’t want to know.
If dubs I’m going to do a vore greentext.
if dubs you gotta suck me
You were so close.
You guys are spared for now
lol, lmao
Goodnight
Nighty night, m8.
Frick it I’m horny and I got dubs and then trips. I’ll at least spoiler it so don’t click if you don’t like vore.
>Hippie music festival nearby and they’re being loud and keeping Cartman up at night
>Cartman could do something normal like just hire someone to shoot them
>Nope they deserve to die horribly
>Genetically modifies Kyle into a giant and injects him with a drug that makes him enter a brainwashed state where all he can think about is how hungry he is
>Kyle eats a bunch of hippies at the festival swallowing half of them whole while Cartman laughs
>Once Kyle comes back to normal he has to live with the guilt that he ate a bunch of people
Rank each pairing from which one would have the kinkiest sex to the most vanilla
>kyman
>creek
>stendy
>stolkien
>bunny
>Creek: biggest experimenters, will probably try all sorts of bondage, Craig outright uses Tweek as a vibrator by giving him outrageous twitter posts then sticking his finger up his while he freaks out
>Kyman: Completely angry sex that resembles more like a comedic dust cloud fighting from old cartoons rather than standard sex
>Bunny: Kenny's a freak in sheets and Butters is mentally ill. They come up with various ways to kill and climax Kenny at the same time.
>Stolkien: Tolkien rams his massive donkey schlong up Stan's ass, but nothing else.
>Stendy: They don't have sex since Wendy has been too busy whoring out with Bebe and Stan's a bit too gay to accept head.
>Completely angry sex that resembles more like a comedic dust cloud fighting from old cartoons rather than standard sex
>giving him outrageous twitter posts then sticking his finger up his while he freaks out
That's so fricking funny, if I end up getting motivation to draw, I'm drawing that.
Wait nvm someone basically already drew the same thing
I've had to repost this like 3 times cause I keep fricking up the image, text, or the reply post. Frick. I'm posting to distract myself while trying not to puke sorry
Forgor the image frickkkkk
I want a Kenny and Carol bonding episode so bad bros.
Which /comfy/anons would sign which parts of the intro?
Kyle didn’t actually suck Cartman’s ball it was the imaginary version.
But according to Kyle himself in said episode, imaginary things are real.
Kyle did not literally suck his balls though.
In-universe that characters consider Kyle sucking Eric's balls to be real and since Cartman's objective was to humiliate Kyle, he succeeded in his goal.
>Kyle starts frowning as soon as Cartman starts talking
Why doesn't he even give him a chance?
>Stan and Butters watched Kyle give Cartman oral sex
So Kyle isn't a virgin?
Oral sex doesn't count as losing your virginity
What does it count as then?
Being a bawd
Kyle isn't a bawd.
why is Tweek upset? Craig is making the most of his quirks.
Post a good randy episode
His best are where he's not the focal point
>Over logging
>wiener Magic
>Make love not Warcraft
>Medicinal Fried chicken
Only good ones with him as the main act
>Creme freche
>With apologies to Jesse Jackson
I guess bloody mary, but i never truly liked it
Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub (The only episode I like where he plays a major role)
They finally returned Randy to his former self and acknowledged the weed shit ruined his character. But I knew they'd reverse that by the end, and they did. Goddammit
Yeah, some people praise it for ”meta” or ”not giving a shit what others think” but it’s hardly interesting. I don’t know why ateurs do this, they pretend they hate their creation and fans but then they always go back to it and do their best to destroy it, Hideaki Anno did that too with Evangelion.
99% of the time it's because they're horribly depressed, I wouldn't be surprised if Tegridy was just supposed to be a one season thing but then started to slip into a depression
Well I guess so, but sometimes I just don't get what it is Trey is trying to say. He's super protective of this massive IP he has created, and at some point it's like he wants to get rid of it (meta-ironic #CancelSouthPark era) and next he's doing these huge deals that just require more content from him. And now it has became some kind of autobiography of his current life and relationship with South Park. But it's not like anyone is forcing him to do this, and no matter how much he uses this type of meta humor of how much Randy or the show sucks, there will always be critics who praise him for his insight and brilliance. And then there are old fans who think "I'm not sure if this is very funny". It's like he wants to be praised and hated at the same time.
HE likes it up the bum ANON WHAT DONT YOU UnDERSTAND TREY IS A SUB HES NO LONGER CONFIDENT NOR CAPABLE IN WHAT HE DOES YET HE INSISTS ON GOING THRU AND CANT SAY NO HE DOEDNT KNOW HOW TO STOP HE NEEDS DICK
Good morning, anons. I'm totally Trey Parker and I will now give each and every single one of you a kiss and a hug. C'mon get over here you deserve it.
Do you ship kyman
How the frick did you get out of your shackles
A year ago Matt said in an interview:
>"These are multi-year projects we invested a bunch of money in," he explained. "We have a South Park 3D video game, release date unknown.
>"We're doing deep fakes. We have a studio with a dozen people who are deep fake artists. We're working on a little more of this deep fake movie we're trying to piece together.
>"We have a horror movie. A musical. I think we're really for the first time going to bring Tegridy Weed into real life. We are gunning for this restaurant that's just been abused in Colorado. It's Trey's dream to revamp Casa Bonita.
Where is that horror movie? Will it be one of the specials?
I like how he said it's "Trey's" dream as if he's just along for the ride in making his work partner happy.
Trey can't do it by himself and he knows it
>Both write, but their chores are slightly different. Parker, the more introspective of the two, also directs, while the effervescent Stone, 39, interfaces with the world at large.
>“He’s genuinely a true artist,” Stone says of his colleague. “I’m more mercurial. I have a temper more than Trey; I’m not proud of it, but I have that edge. Trey avoids conflict like the plague."
The way they describe each other and their partnership is genuinely heartwarming, Trey has been described as a softie and shy and Stone has to handle the more difficult situations while also keeping Trey in check, he is literally his Stone... While Trey is the one who has a bit of anxiety about the world but also lives in a bit of a bubble. Trey has described their partnership as being like a marriage so many times too. And Stone also says he's not good at directing so he doesn't mind. It's cute the way they perfectly work together.
Matt has no time for Trey, his ebony wife demands that chad wiener.
>Two years ago, Stone wed his longtime girlfriend, with whom he has a 1-year-old boy. As for Parker, after a failed earlier marriage, he says he’s found contentment with his girlfriend of the past two years, who has a 10-year-old son.
>Both have become more sedate: Stone, who’s been with the same woman for 10 years, believes he’s born to be a family man, and Parker says most of his spare time is now spent at home.
Imagine if Trey didn't have this daughter Betty now, his life would be so miserable.
I should be happy for them but I can't help feeling kinda sad, really all he has is his daughter and his money.
happy? Unrequited love is nothing to be happy about.
Happy for Matt that he has a family and happy for Trey that he has a daughter, but I know Trey wants someone to love, I can tell from all the various girlfriends he's had over the years. He's constantly been searching but it seems to never work out. What is he doing wrong? Is it him?
Lot of people get satisfied once they have a child, I know I'd be terrible in a relationship and just make everyone miserable but I might be an okay father
You think he's not looking for a relationship anymore? Hm
No, he hangs out with his ex-wife so Betty can have both mom and dad, you think a new girlfriend would allow that?
>you think a new girlfriend would allow that?
I mean... I would. I'm sure he could find a girl (or guy) who wouldn't mind and would understand that it's so Betty can have both parents.
Do they split custody 50/50? Or does his daughter primarily live in one household?
Yes they both have custody and they settled the divorce last year, they basically live like a family but aren't married.
>#GirlDad
He's so breedable
So the ex wife lives there with them? Does Trey have to hear her fricking new guys that she brings home?
A... tegridy horror musical in real life.. what?
No anon they're three separate projects
Just watched part 2, Randy was handled amazingly well while they still managed to keep Tegridy around.
I was on a metal binge for the past few weeks with Breaking Benjamin and Dragonforce, now I'm back to what I enjoyed before. It sounds great while you're eating and trying to relax.
Do you guys know what musical tastes Trey and Matt have?
I know Trey likes musicals (big fan of Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Les Miserables), he also likes Ween and Primus for which he opened some concerts as dvda, and I know he likes The Cure. I've also heard Richard Smith is actually a big fan of Orgazmo and has seen it hundreds of times (his song is used in it). Oh and Trey also said Elton John was the reason he started playing piano.
You should watch this
Trey: makes an episode about how it's dumb that creators go changing perfectly good and fitting stylistic visuals into overly detailed ugly CGI, and then imply that their old stylistic choice was nothing more than a mistake
also Trey: does this
also while making this i discovered this on the wikia page:
>According to the DVD commentary of "Mecha-Streisand", the main reason why the creators hate her so much is that after Colorado passed the Amendment 2, an amendment to the Colorado state constitution forbidding homosexuals from being recognized as a protected class, Streisand spoke out against the state and all its citizens, calling them a "bunch of hicks" and promising she would never visit Colorado again.
wonder if that still holds up...
Honestly i miss the simplicity of old south park style. Pic related, a guy redrew the scene on the right in the old style.
it was not only nicer, more elegent and more fitting for the feel of the show and it's style of comedy, but also looked aesthetically better. its a shame they work with people now who think more shine and detail is always a better look
Yea the overly detailed characters and environments clash so hard with the older ones. Same as simpsons.
yeah, they also actively detract from the comedic style of the old show and any and all background gags or potential for physical comedy
but i guess its ok because the show doesnt do them anymore, it mainly does over-the-top whacky front n center scene, silly voices/faces and dialog based observational humor, most of which dont need strong visuals, hell the 3rd kind of comedy doesnt need visuals at all
its odd how sp did visuals better when it literally had less budget, its true what they say, you can make a great product with skill but no resources, but nothing made with all the resources in the world and no skill can compare
>Trey says he feels more like a rockstar and part of a band than a celebrity
>Makes an episode called "guitar queer-o"
I figured it out
What if instead of Randy, Liane had taken the role of the crazy parent? Imagine an alternate universe scenario like this;
>Crack's been decriminalized in Colorado so Liane gives herself breast cancer to get some crack
>The Losing Edge would be about Liane gettting herself into fights with other moms whenever one of them calls her son fat.
>In the Pandemic Special, Liane's bawdtiness takes a whole new level when she fricks a pangolin.
>Liane loves murder porn and tries to get Cartman and his friends to put it back on air, saying stuff like "Oh poopsiekins, you know that Jaiden Smith would've let his mommy watch murder porn don't you?"
>"Over-Logging" would've been about Liane unable to acquire good porn to enhace sex with the men she brings home since the internet is down. The ending would've been Liane flooding the computer room with her squirt juice and trying to play if off as rain.
>Liane says the n-word on national TV but sicne she's a woman, people quickly forgive her and pass it off as a slip-up since "anyone would've thought the same". However Liane actually is mildly bigoted and remembers some of the stuff she has told Cartman ("My mom says there are a lot of black people in Africa") and he tries to get him to not tell anyone about it by feeding him more racist information, like how blacks will swoop down to beat him up if he says those stuff out loud.
i cant tell if this is stealth hornyposting but what the hell, ill say this anyway, i genuinely think this wouldve been preferable, she would have to endure much less character butchering and Trey would have to put some thought into writing her because she wouldn't be his self insert and he couldn't just fall back on the ol "whacky sitcom dad", trope
but i guess reasons like that is exactly why he did what he did
I think the crazyness should have been more spread out, every parent needs an episode of them acting out their own flavor of messed up tendencies.
agreed, but thats exactly what we had in the first few seasons, when it was made clear the whole town of SP, and maybe even the whole world, was a messed up place
Randy being the crazy parent works for alot of people (outside this board of course) cuz Stan is the sane son who acts as the counterweight to Randy's crazy actions. Idk how that would work with Liane considering Eric is pretty insane in his own right. They'd have to seriusly change their dynamics for something like that to work. Besides the general description of Liane in most people's minds is that she's a soft-spoken and reserved mother who's wild in bed. Liane engaging in Randy-esque antics would seem pretty out-of-character.
They should've stuck with Gerald having troll like tendencies
They should've stuck with early seasons Garrison
Trey was at Disney World!
Is that Betty behind him? Also his ex has nice fake boobs
No Betty is the one in the front
I hope we get more boobs Cartman fanart
Why would Jimmygay do this?
I don't pee in pools, it's unethical. On the scale of bodies of water where it's unethical to pee in public, pools are second only to hot tubs. Showers and the ocean are the most ethical, whereas bathtubs are the most gross but still ethical because you're the only one who has to swim in your peepee juice.
you've thought about this a lot, huh?
Well yes, every good man puts thought into the most ethical places to piss.
you guys ever peed in the dead sea? dont, it gives your peehole a proper stinging
unless youre into that
i hate people who go in the pool just to piss
alright, fine, you were swimming and didnt wanna get out and thought you'd do a little wee, whatever, but you JUST walked in, you peed 25 seconds ago and you were in there for approx 30, theres no excuse not to use the toilet before going in
theres neccesary evil, and then theres just evil
jimmy is an evil little bastard
who are you calling ugly?
Sorry bro, no matter how hard your pee pee goes for him, it won't change the fact that homie is ugly
going pp in the water? is that what today's brand of /comfy/ insanity gonna be? go ahead, im embracing it
Good morning to my cute chubby dommable wife trey parker, who when he says he's a girldad, he means it in several ways.
good morning to your adorable submissive wife and girldad, he knew what he was doing when he wore that shirt
or maybe he didnt
and that makes it even cuter
and speaking of cute outfits, i think im gonna spend the day dressing my cute boyhusband up, and then taking it all off again
Well, something tells me his daughter might have wanted him to wear it, but I like to imagine it was completely his own choice.
Good evening to you and your husbando, I hope you two have a fun time playing dress up, and then uh, dress down.
heh, thats cute how he lets his daughter do that, so young and already more assertive than her dad
he makes such a cute father, id love to make him one again if you get what am saying
ill make sure Nathan is all cute like a little doll before i slowly and gently remove it all....yknow because i dont wanna ruin those cute clothes... thats all............
But anon trey is already over 50, I doubt he can still get pregnant now. I do hope menopause isn't being to hard on him. At least he squeezed one out before it was too late, he seems happier after that.
nonsense, well never know if we dont try
and yknow seeing how hes pretty old it might take a few tries, but we got plenty of time
well can try as many times as we like
In that case we better get cracking, times'a'wasting. Every second that passes without baby batter in his stomach is a missed opportunity.
oh it mustve been so long since he got any, its like a crackprostitute going dry for years and finally getting some for the first time in ages, hes gonna be slobbing on your knob like a baby with a bottle
What I wouldn't give to catch just a glimpse of Trey famishedly sucking a wiener
probably not.
they are making cartman go to the bum route.
like the post covid special.
Why does this place love to psychoanalyze Trey so much?
hes the creator of the show that we love, and were all autists, we like to get into the detail of things, its only natural
also some people are horny
idk about the rest of yall, but personally im pretty fricking asparagus, as in, clinically diagnosed autist, and psychology is one of my autistic interests, im literally drawn to psychoanalyzing media and creators im curious about
I dont have the asparagus diagnosis but I'm one of the anons who autistically researches about Trey and this show (and things in general) so I might as well be
How come other co fandoms aren't as autistic when it comes to creators?
most mainstream Cinemaphile media isnt as directly connected to its creator, theres usually a semblance of disconnect between the work and the media
South Park is a direct insight into Trey's brainhole
Have you seen Neon Genesis Evangelion fandom, when the author makes the franchise all about him then of course people get like that
>co fandoms
Well maybe because there are very few Cinemaphile creators that could be considered "auteurs", at some point they move on the staff changes like in the case of The Simpsons. Trey has been working on South Park for 25 years and he keeps projecting his own life to it.
knowing trey lore is necessary to get the full experience out of his show because he inserts himself in a way that most other showrunners don't
Because it's a big part of the show, you won't understand half of the new content if you don't analyze him since South Park is his autobiography
>ywn eat out adorable tomboy israeli pussy
He's a boy.
are you stupid?
Are you?
I prefer her firecrotch cousin.
homosexual
I’m sorry I have the superior taste in israelites anon
Anon, you're giving up prime, true and honest israeli pussy and a girl who probably knows how to cook and will have absolute banger breasts, in favor of gross whiny ginger bush that'll get passive aggressive and pissy with you every time you leave the toilet seat up
It's a pretty great couple of episodes
>Anon, you're giving up prime, true and honest israeli pussy and a girl who probably knows how to cook and will have absolute banger breasts, in favor of gross whiny ginger bush that'll get passive aggressive and pissy with you every time you leave the toilet seat up
That’s a very nice appeal but you’re forgetting one key factor. I only like redheads even my irl gf is a ginge.
Woah.... Nothing can compete with a ginger lover's interest in red bush
I'm sorry sir and/or maam
It’s alright Nathangay, I love you and respect your dedication but my quest for firecrotch can’t be stopped. If you want to talk about Cousin Kyle I think it’s fun to think about how she would interact with her cousin while she thought the other was a girl too.
ASs much as i love the notion of cousin Kyle thinking Kyle is a girl, I also like her as a straightman of sorts, I guess both do a pretty good job
Nathangay?
I like to think she’s just genuinely confused at first.
Reminder that the GirlDad seethed so much when someone vaped smoke in his daughter face that he created Tegridy Farms
>Tegrity is a result of seethe
good god, ive said this before, but nothing good ever comes from writing what you hate
>board game geek
He is just so cute. He's such a good dad.
Thank you anon, I had never seen that before! That's adorable!
I will not let my daddy issues make me find him sexy. I will not want to be held in his soft protective arms. I will not think about kissing him or holding his face and I will not think about him being good to me because he loves me. I am stronger.
Holy crap dude I can't believe this. I can have always had the ability jack off using just my imagination. In fact sometimes it's even better than porno since I can think of more creative situations using my imagination. So this allows me to do other stuff while jerking off. So anyways a couple of minutes ago I was jerking off to the thought of mommy Liane dominating me while scrolling through this thread. I expanded a couple of the images which had Trey hanging out with his daughter. And that's when I had a horrfic realization; I still had my dick in my hand. I wasn't jerking off, but since I was thinking about Liane a couple of minutes prior, I was still clutching my dick. Now imagine if someone saw what I was doing without any context. They'd think I was jerking off to those pics of Trey's daughter!
that'll teach you to beat your meat while reading these threads, never do that again
thats not a problem because you'd just be jacking off to Trey and his beautiful man boobs in that tight shirt and that'll make anyone bust one out
>artist uglify character designs for no fricking purpose
hat it when this happens
Does anyone else think season 8 is overrated? Alot of people think of it as the best season, and that it has zero bad episodes.
It has a couple of awesome episodes, like the anime one, Awesom-O and Preschool, but it also introduced alot of annoying tropes like
>Kyle being a moralgay
>Cartman being a supervillainish persona with an obsession with Kyle
>Stan being that guy who gives a deadpan or annoyed reaction to the stuff happening arounf him
>Chef's prominence lessening
Too bad these would get greatly exaggerated as the series progressed.
>it has zero bad episodes.
I wouldn't call any of the episodes bad per say, but it did have a lot of average episodes. For eg: That Paralympics one was kinda meh with the only memorable part being Jimmy beating up his gf and mom, and the Cartman Hitler one wasn't anything to write home about (Though Mel Gibson was funny af.
for me the Paralympics episode was mixed... Jimmy becoming a c**t and Cartman pretending to be disabled was pretty funny, and even some Kyle scenes were great, but there was a lot of moralgaygery from him and I think it was one of the first episode where he really turned into what he is today, a moralizing little b***h
But I like most of those tropes I think they're what make kyman interesting
As a kymansister I love season 8 as well but not kymangays might not understand.
Early Kyle:
>Regularly made fun of Pip and Butters
>Kicked his baby brother Ike around alot, but still loved him
>Once wrote an essay about putting poor people in concentration camps
>Mostly made fun of Cartman, but even poked fun at Stan and Kenny from time to time.
>Didn't have any qualms about doing morally questionable things, like getting rid of his annoying cousin, performing a lipsuction on Butters or blackmailing a kid into dress up as Kenny and crawl up a woman's vegana, but that doesn't matter cuz it's within the town's nature.
Nu-Kyle:
>"Cartman bad fatass me good israeli boy"
>Ended up lowering my opinions on Matt and Trey since he's the one they want us to root for, yet comes off as preachy and annoying as hell.
Mid season Kyle combines these two.
Season 7 is mid Kyle. He did have some sense of morality (He was unwilling to let Butters take the blame for something they did) but was also mean in his own right (He was instantly hostile towards the Mormon kid)
I also can create a strawman argument
>strawman
anon that term doesnt work when someone is perfectly describing whats happening in reality, hes right you know...
I think I'm one of the very few people who thinks season 3 is unironically the best South Park season, closely followed by season 6.
Literally me, based taste
Chaddest anon ITT
>Stan being that guy who gives a deadpan or annoyed reaction to the stuff happening arounf him
Aw, but I like it when Stan does the thing
Season 6 is the best one
Do others than Craiggays like Pandemic I and II?
Yeah but I'm a Craigay. However, they're not in my top 10 favorite episodes.
>no political shit, just boys going on an adventure
>Randy parts are funny and he doesn't the take spotlight
>fun movie parodies
>actually well researched Peruvian culture turned into unique story
>chad Peruvian Craig
What's not to love?
>Craig blackpilling the fans about how it's the entire group of friends that bring out the worst in each other and not just Cartman
No
What is his problem?
Comes from a family of no-fricks given troublemakers
What if the Drought in Streaming Wars is a metaphor for creative drought?
The show went bad when Matt stopped helping Trey write it.
I thought Matt just did voices?
Gonna try going to sleep early, I hope this time I don't ruin my sleep schedule after a puny 2 weeks like I always do.
Goodnight.
We should start the next thread with "come up with an episode for South Park.
No.
It’s just going to be hornyposting or anons making another kyman episode
No, Max.
Who here is wasting another summer indoors?

having a life and doing fun summer things with other human beings?

Though the Imaginationland trilogy and the Pandemic Two-Parter (from S12, not the recent specials) are also quite OK.

I have a hard time deciding, but I generally like S7-15.

I’m so stupid for thinking Randy would change.
It's not the first time they were baiting us into thinking that Tegridy is over
Subsequently Sneed Sneed
>everyone hates Randy
You guys were just posting about how to want to frick him not too long ago.
(Most) people were being ironic anon
I said I want to rape him
Why do normies act like Butters is an innocent bean who has never done something wrong, totally ignoring his flaws? There are plenty of episodes that showcase his shitty sides too.
Probably because he's shit on way more than he shits on others. And they probably feel it's cathartic when he can be the shitter. They also probably blame Cartman for corrupting him.
How did DenHang know?
But he's wrong because cartman is gay, also what the hell is this?
this is how some forums used to look like in late 90's/very early 00's
Sorry, it looked like someone's gmail inbox.
And here comes the "Cartman's sexuality cannot be defined by humans" guy like clockwork.
>And here comes the "Cartman's sexuality cannot be defined by humans" guy like clockwork.
What’s wrong with my statement?
>what the hell is this?
the peak of internet
Cartman isn’t gay though. He’s not straight either. Cartman’s sexuality cannot be defined on this plane of reality.
You can tell just by looking at him, that’s why he was picked by the Japanese
Ew, Stan is the hotter old man
Yeah but Craig is the better husbando material
how do butters, randy, jimmy, tweek, craig gays cope about the first movie not showing their characters?
>randy
he did show up but had no lines. it was during the time when randy was just a regular adult/parent
>jimmy
the movie came up before jimmy's debut in the show
>tweek
dunno here
>craig
he was mostly a background character
>Randy
He technically had lines in some of the songs
>Craig
What I find funny about Craig is that in La Resistance he randomly sometimes disappears from the group between shots or gets replaced by Brimmy, a background kid.
By ignoring its existence? Reminder that BLU is considering the highest peak of South Park. The lack of the characters stated, then, should help clue you all in on what characters actually made the show good.
