Noone said they were financially responsible. Also really you have to have tech and wifi now. All the kids have tablets and laptops given to them by the schools now. Same with work basically making you need a phone my first full time job after college couldn't check my pay without my phone as the job computer was shit and the check in machine only told me my hours for the last 2 weeks. We live in a age where you are slowly being forced to at least need tech to live

You can get a smartphone for around $50 or less. Even rural Africans who live in bumfrick nowhere have them now.
