A lot of stuff has felt far too grounded in south park for a while, I think I'd enjoy some absurd powers.
And you know what, I will grant part one this single compliment, I do enjoy seeing the entire cast shit on Randy as he just whines feebly about it. Not memeing here, it was different than seeing him be rancid for the umpteenth time like all the other sitcom dads in the world, which was welcome. It does feel like it's leading up to something, but if it actually does we'll have to see. Everything has felt weirdly transitional, and of course with the episode being a part one it means we got a whole lot of set up with no resolution at all. I don't hate the tegridy farms change per se, I just hate how much focus it steals from everything else all the time. There are things I like. I feel like Towelie is a fun character reminiscent of south park's roots because he's just a wacky towel. I could do with less weed jokes or none at all. I can enjoy Randy when he isn't in 90% of the total screen time and when he isn't homerpeter lite. I like the way it has impacted Stan's character for the most part, but it has to stop.

Honestly, if it was done better I would be fine with tegridy farms being a thing as well. Matt and Trey want to represent colorado, the place they grew up in which is what they were doing when they made South Park. But over time, things change and South Park changed with it. The gentrification saga was one of the most obvious points of his. When Colorado legalised weed, it became apart of the state's identity. Now instead of needing a geologist, they wanted a character to represent the new weed growers and sellers of the state and their customers. So, fine I can accept that. Have Randy be a weed farmer now. But not only having his character turn even more despicable and unlikeable than it has been in the past, they also gave him way too much screen time that was usually focused on the same weed jokes. And it directly affects Stan, an actual main character. That's why Tegridy is so bad right now.

Exactly, you're absolutely right. He gets away with everything and it's super annoying, not even Cartman gets a treatment like that. If they still want to write Randy I'd at least want it to be something fresh, so hopefully this wasn't just a coincidence. Honestly... yeah. As cute as Bunny tends to be, and Bunny shippers generally seem nice, it isn't really in Kenny's character to be attracted to Butters. Even if we have a genderbent Butters, her personality doesn't line up with the types of girls Kenny usually shows interest in. Not really at all. He's one of the most straight of the main characters in the show with how aggressively he likes women. Stan is well, Stan. Kyle and Cartman have their whole tension going on, and Butters has his own weird bicurious thing going on (and crushed on princess kenny kinda). If Kenny did like boys, it would probably be a lot more obvious considering how openly horny he is, and that South Park is fully accepting of homosexuality after Tweek and Craig.
Princess Kenny is the closest thing to Kenny liking men there is, with his charm ability in the game, but that's much more like how straight guys in rpgs play overly sexualised "ideal" women for their own amusement. Kenny is just playing the kind of girl that he'd be into.

What if tegridy ends with a callback to one of the earlier "le crazy randy" episodes, of him on wheel of fortune. If Trey wants to do his current events act he can use it to be like "it's just like how people get cancelled because they said the n word years ago" like the native American episode but I guess focused more on how it affects corporations.
It can all even be the B plot to , with it being Randy on the plane, and having shitty wifi and being unable to defend himself properly on social media.
I'll just keep brainstorming; the reason he gets in a fight with the kid is because the kid in the seat in front of him is playing games on his greasy iPad at full volume and taking up all the bandwidth or whatever. And Randy keeps trying to ask the kid to turn off his iPad which pisses the kid off, and embarrasses the other Marshes. The b plot consists of randy desperately loading twitter only for it to be stuck on articles like "remember Black person GUY from Wheel of Fortune? He runs a weed farm now and hates black people (Credigree farms!!).. is anyone surprised?"
In the end Randy finally just takes the tablet from the kid, logs into Twitter to tweet an apology or explain himself, but he's having trouble because the screen is covered in shit.
When he finally is able to get into Twitter, there's a picture taken from the seat across from him, taken a few seconds ago, already going viral, replying to the main article "yo the n***** guy is sitting across from me on the plane rn and just stole a tablet from a baby wtf." And Randy seethes.

Well I imagine some of it is work ethic, the ability to work fast and efficiently. This can come from trained skill and sometimes genetics. It's one thing to be able to draw a technically good piece of art, but then its another level above that to be able to do it in a quick and efficient manner. If you are drawing for your own amusement though this might not matter. but if you are drawing for others, whether this be for a company, or individual commissioners, or even just to keep your fans happy and supporting you on places like patreon you have to be able to work efficiently as well as effectively.

I have this trouble as well sometimes, maybe a lot of artists do because we are our own worst critics. But sometimes you need to be able to accept something the way it turns out, so you are able to move onto something else. Even if something you draw isn't perfect, and you notice this, it is almost better to instead work on a new piece of art with that self reflection in mind rather than stay glued to the first one. That way you are developing your skills while also being productive.

If you’re actually asking. I watched South Park when I was 12 on the family computer when my parents weren’t home because every episode was on Comedy Central’s website. I loved the show as a whole for its humor but I remember I would specifically rewatch the Kyle vs. Cartman episodes over and over. And you know what, I will grant part one this single compliment, I do enjoy seeing the entire cast shit on Randy as he just whines feebly about it. It's the first time characters actively shit on him in group, isn't it? We've seen his family be done with his antics but I don't recall characters making fun of him. Maybe it's becoming self aware.
a small part of me has hope that this development of everyone openly shitting on him is leading up to some proper downfall where his tegridy shit is finally done for good, or at least if it has to remain Randy is forced to stop acting so terrible and gets a lot less focus. It isn't super likely, especially if what some anons said is true and Matt and Trey want to make tegridy weed a real life product, but I can hope.
It does feel like it's leading up to something, but if it actually does we'll have to see. Everything has felt weirdly transitional, and of course with the episode being a part one it means we got a whole lot of set up with no resolution at all. I don't hate the tegridy farms change per se, I just hate how much focus it steals from everything else all the time. There are things I like. I feel like Towelie is a fun character reminiscent of south park's roots because he's just a wacky towel. I could do with less weed jokes or none at all. I can enjoy Randy when he isn't in 90% of the total screen time and when he isn't homerpeter lite. I like the way it has impacted Stan's character for the most part, but it has to stop.
Honestly, if it was done better I would be fine with tegridy farms being a thing as well. Matt and Trey want to represent colorado, the place they grew up in which is what they were doing when they made South Park. But over time, things change and South Park changed with it. The gentrification saga was one of the most obvious points of his. When Colorado legalised weed, it became apart of the state's identity. Now instead of needing a geologist, they wanted a character to represent the new weed growers and sellers of the state and their customers. So, fine I can accept that. Have Randy be a weed farmer now. But not only having his character turn even more despicable and unlikeable than it has been in the past, they also gave him way too much screen time that was usually focused on the same weed jokes. And it directly affects Stan, an actual main character. That's why Tegridy is so bad right now.

It can all even be the B plot to , with it being Randy on the plane, and having shitty wifi and being unable to defend himself properly on social media.
I'll just keep brainstorming; the reason he gets in a fight with the kid is because the kid in the seat in front of him is playing games on his greasy iPad at full volume and taking up all the bandwidth or whatever. And Randy keeps trying to ask the kid to turn off his iPad which pisses the kid off, and embarrasses the other Marshes. The b plot consists of randy desperately loading twitter only for it to be stuck on articles like "remember Black person GUY from Wheel of Fortune? He runs a weed farm now and hates black people (Credigree farms!!).. is anyone surprised?"
In the end Randy finally just takes the tablet from the kid, logs into Twitter to tweet an apology or explain himself, but he's having trouble because the screen is covered in shit.

Well I imagine some of it is work ethic, the ability to work fast and efficiently. This can come from trained skill and sometimes genetics. It's one thing to be able to draw a technically good piece of art, but then its another level above that to be able to do it in a quick and efficient manner. If you are drawing for your own amusement though this might not matter. but if you are drawing for others, whether this be for a company, or individual commissioners, or even just to keep your fans happy and supporting you on places like patreon you have to be able to work efficiently as well as effectively.

I have this trouble as well sometimes, maybe a lot of artists do because we are our own worst critics. But sometimes you need to be able to accept something the way it turns out, so you are able to move onto something else. Even if something you draw isn't perfect, and you notice this, it is almost better to instead work on a new piece of art with that self reflection in mind rather than stay glued to the first one. That way you are developing your skills while also being productive.
