I'm a pinup artist that has hired a few dozen models from local colleges or model mayhem. No one likes to pose for an artist as they paint. It takes forever, is boring as frick, and can be extremely uncomfortable for long sessions. I always just take photos and get better results anyways.
There's an old man that built this amazing photography studio in a barn in my small town that my mom knows and he lets me use it whenever I want. He has all kinds of crazy lighting and backdrops but I had to by my own radio controlled flash to work with his equipment since it's all a bit older. Taking photos of pretty naked women is pretty great I'm not going to lie and I plan on doing it even when I'm 80.
