Anya's already shown up in a movie and will have an actual role in another one, and so far Kaine's barely got as much as a cameo to his name, so...not sure she's the best comparison. I'd say Mattie but uh...yeah she's also gonna be getting her movie debut soon. And Cindy might be slated to get one too...maybe Steel Spider's a better comparison.

I'm not a fan of Bailey, don't really care about the extended Spider cast beyond Ben and Miguel, but Pete having a sidekick would be the exact opposite of regression. It would be an opportunity to show how much he's grown as a person and a hero, that he's mentoring a kid to try and make sure they don't have to go through the hell he did as a teenage do-gooder. But I also thought Pete being a teacher was the best career move they ever took him on and I'll always be mad it didn't stick.
