Why is no one pointing this out

I can understand Spider-Man finally falling victim to a cancer zeitgeist trend but I don't understand how everyone is basically ignoring it's happening except on Cinemaphile

Because as painfully bland as Miles is, he has more of a sense of growth than Peter has in the years since OMD.

Every adaptation of Peter in recent years has him be a teenager again or a 'relatable' young adult in the case of Insomniac, but we've seen that so many times before already that the only way to make it even remotely new or interesting is to add Miles or other Spider-People. But in doing so they only show just how skin-deep Miles actually is as a character.

Yet much like in the comics, this completely neglects the possibilities that come from having an older Peter Parker. Imagine the timeline we would live in if we had a good Mayday Parker-focused cartoon? Imagine if she hit mainstream popularity?

If they wanted that to happen they could've put the billion dollars they poured into making Miles mainstream into making her mainstream instead, but for whatever reason race pandering trumps gender pandering hard lately

How? He's still in high school and he doesn't even have a job or any ideas for a career.
He's "grown" in that writers have been getting more bold at overtly telling the reader how Miles is better than Peter

Marvel should've just copied DC and make Peter sacrifice himself for greater good saving the universe in process, allowing Miles to take up the mantle of Spider-Man. Would've been better than whatever the frick they're doing with Peter right now.

Because they actually read Miles Morales and can identify with his struggles of identity either as another Spider-Man in the shadows of the original, as a biracial kid who doesn't fit in neatly with either race, the supervillain uncle, or the fact that he's just a kid in today's world. People have grabbed on to that shit.
Then you add in the fact you get more Spider superhero action in Miles books than you do in Peter's

Yeah, now you can't have a cool animated movie anymore, it has to be about setting up Miles as the Spider-Jesus of the multiverse, you can't have a cool Spider-Man sandbox game anymore, it has to be about setting up Miles as the better Spider-Man who forces Peter into an early retirement. Californians can't help themselves, it's irresponsible to give them tokens like these and then ask them to try to make something genuine.

Nope, the point is complaining about spiderman being black, since according to this board, simply featuring a minority in a piece in media means your pandering.

Miles is pandering. All the comic media salivating over him, gassing him up as super important and special, when there's already been a PoC Spider-Man since the 90s.

1130 image hashes collected between (mostly) Cinemaphile, Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile to be used in CinemaphileX filters against mileshomosexualry. Including but not limited to: ritual posters, Spider-Glen wankers (most of which are known to shitpost real threads), movie and game secondaries, shitflingers repeating unique reaction images, leftypol raiders and their stale (robbed) memes (who else would be peddling this shit lol).
