I never even gave it a chance from the day it was announced and I felt fully vindicated when it got canceled. Live action anime adaptations are rarely ever good, and on Netflix they are literally never good. I can't even say I was disappointed by Netflix Bebop because I knew it couldn't be good. I'm just amazed at how successful it was at being horrible. I guess they figured if they can't be the best, they can be the worst.

Harold seriously cared and tried with Spike, Jet was perfect, Faye was awful, Vicious was far too Game of Thrones but did the best he could, the stories and episodes were pretty good and even after I finished the series last year being a guy who watched the anime 22 years ago, I kind of wanted the show to last.

The difference in the ending of the Red Eye plot is incredibly telling:
In the anime Spike looks horrified and depressed watching these two die and the scene is incredibly somber.
