They frickin' better.
Fool me once.
Just In time for the 5 year anniversary of the fake out that pissed off so many
Man this makes me feel old. I was 13 when they did that, I'm 18 now so you could imagine my disappointment then.
>I'm 18 now
Great, people born in 2006 can post here now. That's the same year I got married you little shit.
Same year my great grandfather died
>I'm 18 now so you could imagine my disappointment then
I can't.
I'm just trying to cope with the fact that the actual episode is literally older than you.
>Man this makes me feel old
>I'm 18 now
>this site is now older than the posters
It's been like that ever since people who were born after October 1st, 2003 could post here, and now people who were born in January 2006 can too.
>kids born after the first adventure time pilot will soon be old enough to post here
>kids born in 2010 will soon be old enough to post here
>kids born in the 2010s will soon be old enough to post here (assuming this flaming pile of shit of a website will still be up by then)
>kids born in the 2010s are predominantly the children of those born in the 1990s
>those born in the 1990s will have a mid-life crisis like no other one skibidi toilet becomes the topic of discussion and millennials and zoomers will make fun of gen alpha ipad kid slang just like how everyone made fun of zoomer slang
YOU'D ALL LOVE TO SEE IT
>I'm 18
I am also 18.
Frick off invalid
I want that dog.
Go out with me
>13 year olds in 2019 are posting on Cinemaphile
My brain cannot even fricking comprehend this. I really need to force myself off this shithole.
You tend to not care after a bit.
t. posting on vietnamese water puppetry forum for 18+ years
Woah. We got ourself a newbie over here. Tell us how did you discover this site?
Shit like this is what makes me feel old, please be bait
Do you want a cookie for being capable of basic addition? moron.
wtf 2019 was 5 years ago
>5 year anniversary
>it's been 5 year since Hillenburg Died
That was 5 years ago? What the frick
This is David Glen Eisley, the guy who co-wrote and sang Sweet Victory all the way back in 1997 together with Bob Kulick (died in 2020). I bet most of you reading this didn't know this song doesn't originate from SpongeBob. I wonder how he feels that this children's cartoon completely overtook this song in the eyes of the general public to the point where most people think it was made exclusively for the show and have never heard of the people who actually made it.
no one fricking thinks it came from spongebob except a handful of morons
I didn't though it came from Spongebob I assumed it was a famous song or something.
Isn't it from Queen or someshit from the Dark Age of Techonology(before the internet)
While Queen has a few victory anthems, they did not write or sing Sweet Victory. You're probably thinking of 'We Are the Champions'
The opposite, as a child I assumed it was a popular classic rock song I didn't recognize.
no one thought this
/thread
I spent a lot of time thinking it was the same band as The Final Countdown which was obviously not SpongeBob music
the song was hidden away on a random CD full of Football-stock-sound-effects
https://www.apmmusic.com/albums/BR-0292
they're really lucky Spongebob gave their work that kind of public recognition in the first place
is there any other majestic lyrical production music just collecting dust out there? TTG did this exact same thing with "night begins to shine"
No one thinks it came from Spongebob first.
Not relevant anymore
Redditbob
I was going to post the webm of the kid beating a Shadow plush but I can't. Shadow won yesterday.
zoomer garbage
But millennials were the one that saw the Band Geeks episode when it first aired.
Way to out yourself as a zoomer, though.
It made more sense back then because it was shortly after Hillenburg died.
>before the official Nickelodeon broadcast of the Superbowl
Ah, so it's only going to be on Nickelodeon?
I can't be too surprised, but better than nothing.
Didn't they say this would happen in order to get zoomers interested only for it to be a performance by some nog?
Love how a bunch of manchilds got upset that their homoerotic football and consumerism didn't include a song from a show for homosexual children
>Not during the Halftime Show
We were this close to perfection...
Got to celebrate them raping the franchise for another 20 years.
>not even during the real broadcast
they are bleeding numbers and they won't even do the one thing that would help.
Sicko mode
the half time show could Obama on a tractor running over a 100 white babies and republicans would be like "yeah maybe next year i'll think about not watching the entire game"
You can say that but they still will never have the balls to actually do it. Can't even claim morality on this one anymore, given what the rabble feels these days.
>spongebob premiered 38 years ago
Too late. They should've done it when the meme was fresh. Kys OP and Nickelodeon.
>Toy story game of the falcons sucking ass
>a full version of sweet victory for the superbowl
What a year, if they don't frick around like last time this will more than make up for it being the chiefs and the niners and having taylor swift pop up every 30 seconds.
Too little too late
