Let's talk about Spydogs and how the live action movie had nothing to do with the cartoon show.

this show was pretty good from what few episodes I saw, quite shocked it only had a short season
Most shows are like that.
There was a live-action movie?
Yes... and no.
You see, there is this 2001's movie: "Cats & Dogs" (which also spawned a few sequels). Very bad movie, terribly boring.
However, the truth is that the movie and this show are completely unrelated save except for having almost the exact same setting (spy dogs who protect humans from criminal cats and other critters), but completely different stories and characters.
Thus, people like us, who watched "The Secret Files of the Spy Dogs", immediately recognized the plot of "Cats & Dogs". Nothing is confirmed, but it is highly probably that it was just a huge coincidence... or someone did indeed rip-off this animated series.
Really?
Brian looks different
>They're putting strange chemicals in the snacks
THAT TURN THE FRICKIN FROGS GAY!
Brian?
In my dub Catastrophe was voiced by a girl, a screechy sounding woman to be precise.
In my dub, Catastrophe was voiced by José Manuel Cantor, who voiced the "girl" alien in Space Goofs in its second season (well, Candy was depicted as a girl in the Latinamerican Dub, imagine my surprise when I learned "she" is a male in the original version)
I watched Space Goofs a month ago and I'm 100% certain Candy is depicted as a girl, being called she and wearing all the girl disguises. She's also Cow's voice actor from Cow & Chicken... wow.... wow.... Charlie Adler is Cow?!?! you learn something new everyday.
In the French and English version, Candy is literally a homosexual... at least according to all the written material I've read.
bump
At least post an image.
>things you didn't like?
Other than the whole show on the average?
Honestly, as someone who used to watch Spydogs, Wunschpunsch was a better cartoon when it came to
>pets try to save moronic humans from themselves
schtick. Especially given how Wunschpunsch did it with only a single city, whereas Spy Dogs had an entire filled with morons that needed to be saved.
why are they looking at me like that
You know why.
This show reminds me once again why I hate action-comedy cartoons. Action-comedy always sacrifices competence/plot/good structure/character development/on-going story for cheap laughs.
>things you wished it had
An actual chance at getting decent rips, but it's one of the many non-Marvel Saban titles rotting away in the Disney Vault, so never ever.
Yo it Brian
glad i'm not the only one who thought that
holy shit you awakened a sleeping meomry
