AI isn't learning at all. AI doesn't "take inspiration", it's just a fancy mathematical system that assigns weight to different values and tags for an image that has to be manually assigned or require tons of hours of machine learning.
Also, it has been shown in court already that AI art is not bound by copyright and that if you have an "AI patreon", for example, the owner of the AI model can just charge you for using their system and you won't be able to sell the AI art wholesale or use it for IP development.
AI as it is will only serve coomers and autistic fans.

You don't have to hate AI at all, just be aware that it's a tool that will be monetized by the people that actually own the images it uses to"create". Unless you can prove the AI is conscious and not just a fancy math machine, nothing it "makes" is considered a creation by law. And if it was conscious, it would lead to a whole other conversation about if companies can own a sentient being and such.
As I said, you can use it for fanart or coomerism as much as you want, just be aware that everything it makes relies on another artist's original creation and that when AI uses AI generated images to generate images, it literally just gives back messy images, because it can derive proper values from their own images properly.

One of the appeals of art is the artists original unique style. Ai can only replicate stlyes, not create any of it's own. There is innate quality in human art that is more soulful than ai ones.
