I'm currently watching them in order and I'm at the middle of TNG and I have a question for the people who have seen them all. How bad exactly are the newest ones like Discovery and Picard? Are they actually shit or they're just alright and simply bad compared to the earlier series?

The new ones are so bad (and woke) that they forced Paramount to sell itself to Warner Bros. Watch all the movies and stop watching the shows with Enterprise.
I found PIC and STD unwatchable. I've heard from people who's opinion I trust that PIC season 3 is good and SNW is a mixed bag.
Just stop after ENT, there’s nothing of value afterwards.
You can stop at DSN. VOY is just dollar store TNG, ENT is microwaved leftovers you take one bite of and decide you’d rather starve than finish it.

Three of the new shows have black female leads, and two of them are lesbian. Anson Mount is surrounded entirely by sassy gay women and character-assassinated Spock in Strange New Worlds. There are trans characters in Discovery who give lectures on pronouns. They’re making a movie about Michelle Yeoh going on killing sprees in Section 31 and it’s directed by a black man.

All Star Trek is good, but it's a steady decline, so you if you start with the current thing and work your way backwards, you have a lifetime of progressively better and better content.

PRO is the most confused Trek thing I’ve ever seen. The show is a shameless direct sequel to Voyager written by the biggest Trek nerds in the industry and relies heavily on intimate knowledge of that show -- but it also tries to be a newcomer series for kids. What a mess.
It got cancelled too.
you can watch pro without knowing anything about voy but its not as good. it wasnt really canceled as much as deplatformed. if someone is willing to pay to produce more paramount would probably go for it.
I was a life long Star Trek fan who kept watching through the lows of Enterprise and even I couldn't stomach more than 2 season of Discovery and 1 season of Picard. I swore I was done then but I eventually came back for Picard season 3 which is OK and a better ending to TNG than the movies so I'm content for that to be my exit point for the franchise. I will never watch the rest of Discovery, Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, Prodigy, Section 31 or whatever else that franchise raping hack Alex Kurtzman shits out.
Discovery = cringe, becoming just awful as it goes along
Picard = bad writing, awful (especially S1 and S2)
SNW = cringe but better than Disco
Lower Decks = meh
Prodigy = didn't get to see it before it got cancelled
I'd stop after Enterprise. And even the last episode of Enterprise is bad.
Watch Star Trek for the camp value and some okay episodes.
Suffer through the first two-three seasons of TNG to get to the really good stuff (although there's still some shit stirred into that pint of ice cream).
Watch Wrath of Khan and consider it the grand finale of the whole franchise.

I liked 1 and it being last doesnt really mean much, my only complaint is that it had too many scenes about the ship used as transitions to the next scene. I did like the ending though.
