People conflict "le good" to compare apples and oranges. Many old trek is literally filler, but they feel "comfy" and it is conflicted as good writing because of nostalgia due 30+ years of reruns and from a time that media was limited to 4 channels.
Current trek (if you ignore a woke aspect) quality is the same as a random episode of DS9/VOY, but they have the disavantage of being compared to thousands of other media made inbetween them, so they feel bland.

You and your ilk have perverted Star Trek - and other sci-fi franchises - so thoroughly that you've left a massive gap in the market for aspiring creative types such as myself. Meanwhile, hundreds of hours of actual Trek - good and bad - still exist from the before-times.

This would be a long discussion that probably won’t happen, but Jesus reformed the old law and in his New Testament never one time condemned homosexuality. I repeat. He did not condone it, but he said the old law is dead and did not mention it one time in his new law. He also invented female consent in marriage. Do with that what you will

laws are written down and they were written by greek scholars like Paul 150 years alter in the new testament.

                >For this reason [viz. idolatry], God gave them up to passions of dishonor; for even their females exchanged the natural use for that which is contrary to nature, and likewise also the males, having left the natural use of the female, were inflamed by their lust for one another, males with males, committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error.

                >My point is that you do not have faith unless it is tested
It can be tested through a serious of questions and answers inspired by spiritual discontent. Doubt plays a role in this, but fear doesn't need to factor into it.

                >Jesus doubted himself/god on the cross
Perhaps there wouldn't have been such doubt if he had a better understanding of the nature of reality.

Nailing toys to the wall is the only display aesthetic worse than rows of unopened boxes
Didn’t he get a new place and immediately nail the toys to the new walls
Wouldn’t sealing all the holes when he moved teach him not to do that shit anymore or did he just leave a room full of hundreds of nails for someone else to clean up
You can learn a lot about someone by how much care they put into their collections
Spacing, organizing each figure with room to breathe but also to be unified with the others, these are some of the best parts of collecting

      > There's a new Star Trek show?

More like new Star Trek shows -- plural. Last week Trekkies in France got 20 brand new episodes of Star Trek: Prodigy S02. This week we're all beginning 10 new S05 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery. Late this year we'll get 10 new episodes of the hit animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks. And new upcoming seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Works, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and a Star Trek: Section 31 movie.

This is truly the Golden Age of Trek.

This week, we're getting two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery:

          DISCO S0501 - Red Directive

Discovery is sent to retrieve a mysterious artifact hidden inside an 800-year-old Romulan vessel but find that they’re not the only ones on the hunt. Meanwhile, Saru is offered the position of a lifetime.

DISCO S0502 - Under the Twin Moons

On Saru’s last mission as Captain Burnham’s Number One, the team ventures to a seemingly abandoned planet to hunt for what might be the greatest treasure in the galaxy.

The production value is incredible, the cast is diverse and talented, and the storytelling is more nuanced and character-driven than ever before. The new series has managed to honor the legacy of the original while also pushing the franchise in new and exciting directions. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Star Trek.

So let's recap: someone asks you to list your top five moments from STD, giving you a chance to demonstrate why us "geezers" are wrong, and it's not just an insult to Trek fans/unoriginal gay propaganda. The best you can come up with - out of 55 episodes, mind - are the mere inclusion of some ugly sheboon, gays being gay, and three callbacks to things from old Trek. Thereby confirming geezers' beliefs. And when someone points this out - and that you struggle to understand words and construct basic sentences - you resort to impotent insults. The nutrek shill, everybody.

                >name your top 5 Discovery moments

The Spore Drive: Discovery introduced the concept of the Spore Drive, a revolutionary propulsion system that utilized mycelium spores to navigate through the mycelial network, allowing the ship to travel immense distances instantaneously. This unique technology played a significant role throughout the series, particularly in the first two seasons.

                6. The U.S.S. Discovery's Time Jump: At the end of Season 2, the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery made a bold decision to transport themselves and their ship into the distant future, over 900 years ahead of their original time period. This unprecedented leap forward in time was a significant moment in the series, setting the stage for the exploration of a largely uncharted future and allowing "Discovery" to carve out its own unique path within the Star Trek universe.

The Red Angel: The mystery surrounding the Red Angel was a central plot point in Season 2. This enigmatic figure was associated with a series of mysterious signals that appeared throughout the galaxy, sparking a quest to unravel their meaning and identify the entity behind them.

The Burn: In Season 3, Discovery explored the aftermath of a galaxy-wide cataclysm known as the Burn, which caused most dilithium to become inert, crippling warp travel and destabilizing the balance of power among the various factions in the galaxy. The search for the cause of the Burn drove much of the season's narrative.

The Kelpien Homeworld: In Season 3, Discovery visited the Kelpien homeworld, Kaminar, providing viewers with insight into Saru's origins and the culture of his people. This exploration of Kaminar deepened Saru's character development and offered a poignant storyline about his relationship with his sister and his species' evolution.

    (Verse 1)
In the vast expanse of space, a show once claimed its throne,
But in the halls of sci-fi lore, its reputation's overblown.
With its lackluster plots and its cheesy charm,
Star Trek: The Next Generation failed to disarm.

    (Chorus)
Oh, Star Trek: The Next Generation, you're a cosmic bore,
Your phasers couldn't blast through the snore.
With cardboard sets and cliché lines,
You couldn't reach the stars if you tried a hundred times.

    (Verse 2)
Captain Picard and his merry band,
Exploring space with scripts so bland.
Alien of the week, recycled tales,
In the realm of sci-fi, your ship limps and sails.

    (Chorus)
Oh, Star Trek: The Next Generation, your legacy's a lie,
You couldn't engage warp speed if you tried to fly.
With awkward acting and dated effects,
Your reputation among fans deserves some respectful rejects.

    (Bridge)
From Riker's beard to Data's quest for humanity,
Your attempt at depth fell flat with mediocrity.
With Wesley Crusher's whining echoing in our ears,
We'd rather face the Borg than endure another one of your years.

    (Chorus)
Oh, Star Trek: The Next Generation, you're a cosmic joke,
Your holodeck adventures are just a cloak.
Behind which hides a show that lacks the spark,
To boldly go where no one wants to embark.

    (Outro)
So here's to Star Trek: The Next Generation, a series we dismiss,
In the vast universe of sci-fi, you're the one we'll never miss.
With your campy tales and cardboard sets,
You'll forever be remembered as the show that fails to impress.

    how is that?

Tha Forge sees you hatin' and he's raising the stakes
You lying snake, your words are fake, made up by Jonathan Frakes
The Next Generation was the best Trek creation
Fill your heart up from the start with joy and relation
So trust in that and recognize it was the best of it's time
Ill bust a cap and push your wig back with my Deep Space Nine
When you try to step to Berman than you're finna get rekt
Berman Braga wrote the saga that redefined Trek
Whether Taylor or Ryan, it's the best story told
I speak truth, no I'm not lying, homie, Jeri, it's gold
But go mortgage your soul with your poetic troll
You'll be paying the toll, kick you through the wormhole
Till the prophets push your shit in and you're rudely disgorged
And your Link's flushed down the sink by Geordee tha Forge

In the Pale Moonlight was good character development for both Sisko and Garak. Sisko finally accepted what he always denied: that he was willing to do terrible things for great causes. And Garak realized that he wanted to support a great cause enough to do terrible things again.
